15|| test drives and criminal trouble

"Yeah... I'm not really supposed to be here."

Queens, New York October 2016-

Alison breathed in a breath of fresh New York air. The night was bustling with cars, and some random city walkers were running around. Lights from the other side of the river could be seen, and echoes of honking cars could be heard as well.

The light breeze in the air made the weather perfect for October. A slight chill, and the perfect amount of cold. It probably wasn't the best time to be wearing a sleeveless super suit, but then again, when is it in New York?

Alison made her way down to the bottom of the fire escape, slipping into the setting sun. "Time for a test run," Ali muttered.

She pulled on the mask-visor thing that was given to her with the suit, and threw her hair up into a high ponytail. Ali's hair dangled down with added blue extensions, flying with the slight breeze in the air.

Stretching her limbs one final time, Alison gave a deep breath. She began to go off at a slight run with her speed, before beginning to sprint off into the night.

It took her a few moments to get adjusted back into the groove of running that fast, but it wasn't long before Alison got accustomed to her own pace again. Her feet were pounding against the pavement in an almost graceful pattern, the repetitive noise almost soothing.

Ali gave a whoop of joy, remembering how good it felt to be free in the night. As she was speeding past, Alison blew the newspaper out of someone's hands. Yellow lightning streaked out from behind her, leaving a trail of where she had been behind her.

Halfway through her little freedom adventure, she realized that if she wanted to kick ass, she would probably need to know where to go.

Alison then quickly scaled the side of a building, making it to the top. She gave a sigh of relief. Ali had never done that before, although she had seen it in a TV show before.

"Spider-Man can't be taking over my terrain now can he?" Alison laughed, scouting over the area. She had never felt this alive since she fought with the Avengers.

Looking over Queens, she saw a man harassing a group of teenage girls. Alison sucked in a breath, racing over to the corner where the event was happening.

"Hey girls," Ali winked as she sped over. "Mind if I handle this guy for ya?" She swept the guy off of his feet, giving him a solid punch in the jaw. The man fell to the floor, knocked out. "That was easy." Alison muttered.

"Any of you have rope? Cord?" Alison gestured, making an invisible rope with her hands. When none of the girls responded Ali gave a small laugh. "Ok, I'll get some myself."

She raced over to the nearest store, grabbing a bundle of cord, and slapping a five dollar bill on the counter. Alison skidded back, the guy coming back to consciousness. "No no no-" Ali slightly singsonged, punching him back into unconsciousness.

Alison quickly tied up the guy to the nearest light post. "One of you call the cops to come pick him up, ok?"

The girls looked at her with appreciation, one pulling out her phone to call 911. "Thanks," Another one of them smiled. "Miss- um-"

"Breakout." Alison gave a small dip of her head. "Tell your friends," She joked slightly. "Gotta go-" Ali pointed her thumb towards the streets. "More crime to fight."

The girls waved bye, but by that time, Alison was already gone, racing back through the streets.

"Where to next?" Alison thought aloud to herself. Before she could even answer that question, a police car raced by Alison.

She shrugged. "When in doubt, follow the police to trouble." Following the police, she found some people in a hostage situation.

"Easy as pie, I hope." Ali muttered. Racing in, she stole the firearms of the two criminals holding five people hostage. The guns clattered to the floor.

"Hey guys," She smiled. "Don't mean to barge in but-" Alison dragged out. "You're kinda committing a felony." Ali punched one of them in the stomach, making him double over. She turned to the next one, sticking her elbow in the man's face. The two fell on the floor groaning.

Sighing, Alison dusted off her hands. "Too easy," she tsked the criminals. "It's almost as if you're begging to be taken away." Ali lifted two pairs of handcuffs from the police she had gotten earlier, clicking them onto the pair's hands.

"Now who wants to get out of here?" She asked the hostages. One man raised his hand, looking at the other people in the room. "Alright," Alison pointed to the man. "You're first."

Ali raced him out of the building, out to the police, who were about to bust the door down. "Sorry fellas," She smirked at the police while running . "I've already got this." Alison was about 90 percent sure they couldn't hear her, but it was still fun to mock them anyways.

Alison raced back into the building, quickly getting out the rest of the hostages out. She left a note by the police cars.
A little help so
you policemen
can enjoy the
rest of your night.
xoxo,
Breakout

After carefully signing the note, Alison raced off again towards Mr. Delmar's Deli, to maybe lift a snack. Looking around at Queens, the moon finally rising up in the sky, the night looked to be almost peaceful.

"One more job," She convinced herself. "One more job and you can be done for the night." Ali looked around, trying to find some sort of criminal activity.

It didn't take her long, seeing some robbers begin to break into the ATM inside of the bank across the way from the deli. "Here's something good." Alison smirked.

She silently crept into the bank, hearing one of the gang mutter, "Yo this high tech stuff makes it too easy." The member was using a laser-gun like weapon to make a hole in the ATM.

Ali laughed, shaking her head, leaning up against one of the windows in the corner. But did it? It made it too easy for superheroes to catch them, that was for sure.

"Told you it was worth it." The gang member continued.

One of the other guys pulled out a huge gun, which pulled out the big chunk of the ATM that the laser gun sectioned off. "We can hit up like five more of these places tonight." The same man smirked, pulling out some cash.

Behind Alison, the Spider-Man himself pulled open the front door, shutting it quietly. She turned her head towards the hero. And what the hell was he doing here?

The Spider-Man looked at Alison, surprised to see her there. "What are you doing here?" He crept over to her, whispering to her.

"Saving your ass, it looks like. You weren't here fast enough." Alison whispered back.

"I'm fast enough!" Spider-Man argued with her.

"Clearly you aren't," Alison laughed silently. "Or you would've been here first."

This banter brought the attention of one of the other gang members, who turned around, wearing an Iron Man mask.

"Wow!" Alison looked at the man sarcastically. "It's Iron Man! Didn't think that I'd ever see you robbing a bank. Aren't you like, a billionaire?" She asked.

The other gang members looked up at Alison. "Yeah," Spider-Man chimed in, "I thought you had to have your pin number to enter your accounts."

Alison gave Spider-Man a small glare. The man in the Iron Man mask cocked his gun, clearly done with the banter. The Thor masked man stepped up to stand with Iron Man.

"That's not very nice," Alison teased, grabbing the Iron Man's gun, and in the process elbowing the Thor guy, throwing him in Spider-Man's direction.

Spider-Man picked up where Ali was going, and hopped up on top of the ceiling. He threw Thor with his foot into the wall.

Iron Man walked up to the Spider-Man, trying to throw a few punches at him. "What are you doing here Mr. Stark?" The Spider-Man asked. "Aren't you supposed to be somewhere doing Avengers things?"

Captain America grabbed the gravity gun, moving towards Alison. "Woah! Cap! What are you doing here? I thought you were a war criminal!" She exclaimed.

The man pressed the gravity gun up against Alison, making her fly to the ceiling, and throwing her back on the floor. "Ow.." she groaned. "Not very patriotic Cap."

The man kept the gravity gun focused on Ali, and had her being thrown from ceiling to floor multiple times. "This. Really. Hurts." Alison gritted out.

Spider-Man picked up where Alison had left off, webbing up a table behind Captain America mask, and throwing it up against the man's back.

Meanwhile, Mr. Delmar was dialing 911 across the way. "9-1-1 what's your emergency?" The first responder asked.

"Uh yeah," Mr. Delmar looked over at the bank. "Spider-Man and this other chick are fighting the Avengers in a bank on 21st street?" He questioned himself, and his own sanity.

"Alright, let's wrap this up," Alison got up from the floor, getting back up on her feet. "It's a school night, and I still have chemistry homework."

She threw one of the men across the room to the window, it almost shattering into pieces.

"So how do jerks like you get tech like this?" Spider-Man asked, tackling the Iron Man.

Behind him and Alison, the Hulk masked man was powering up the laser gun. "Oh no wait-" Alison's eyes widened from underneath her visor.

The laser blast took the man aback, shattering the window behind the heroes and criminals, blowing out into the street. It cut a circular laser hole through the whole front of the bank.

The laser blast struck Mr. Delmar's deli, slicing right through the center. The building burst into flames, almost exploding in the process.

"Mr. Delmar," Spider-Man muttered, running over to the store. Alison however, was quicker. She pulled out Mr. Delmar, and Spider-Man got his cat.

"I'm so sorry," Ali murmured to Mr. Delmar. "I've gotta go." She ran off into the distance, back to her apartment area.

"Me too," Spider-Man looked at Mr. Delmar sympathetically. "Here," He handed Mr. Delmar's cat back to Mr. Delmar. Spider-Man swung off into the horizon.

As Alison was running away, she looked back at the wreckage behind her. "Oh," She breathed in, sighing. "I am so screwed."
