He was standing there, right in front of me. 

We can go inside. Eliza tells me. 

I haven't seen him in years, not the last time he had tried to come into the village. 

"He's standing outside again." Eliza moves away from the curtain. "I can hear him. He wants to talk to you." She says and I shrug my shoulders. 

"I don't want to talk to him. Tell him to leave me alone and when I'm ready, I will talk to him then."

That was the end of it. I never went back there. Not to get my clothes, or anything. I bought new ones, and everyone was willing to give them to me free when they realised who I was but no. I had started a bakery and I was selling anything I made. People came from around the world when they realised the queen was working. 

Dad told me that the Queen never worked. Her money would come from the other packs around the world in order for her to protect them with her magic. I told Dad I still wanted to work. The Bakery had no name till this day but it was beautiful from the inside and people loved everything I made them. 

"It's nice to see you again," Alec pulls me out of my thoughts as he holds his hand out. 

I smile, like a Queen would, as I place my hand in his. Sparks. I could feel them slightly as if they were trying to be more persistent. He had not accepted the rejection. 

Alec leans down and kisses my hand softly, his eyes never leaving mine. 

I know we're not supposed to like him but he is a 11 out of 10. Amanda swoons in my mind and I bite my lip to stop laughing as Eliza whacks her on the arm telling her to shut up. 

"It's nice to meet you too." I smile at him genuinely. 

Whatever had between us was the past. I was at a dark point in my life and with him I could not swim up. I was drowning. 

Now you control the water. Ava chuckles to me as I smile. Alec let's go of my hand as I stand up slowly. 

"I must use the bathroom. Excuse me," I say to him as he nods his head in a bow. 

I turn around to walk away from him. 

"See you tomorrow?" He calls out to me as I reach the door with Eliza and Amanda beside me.

I look over my shoulder to look at him as he smirks at me. Tomorrow at the dance. 

"See you tomorrow." I nod my head at him as the doors open and I walk inside. The moment they shut, I let out a deep breath. 

"What. Was. That." Eliza gaps at me as I stretch my arms out in front of me. 

"That was Alec."I answer her, confused. 

"I could feel the tensions from another world!" She exclaims. 

"Eli," Oli walks towards her as he wraps his arms around her from behind and rests his head on her shoulder. "Deep breathes baby." He hums into her ear and she sighs against him, blushing a little. 

"Time for us to go." I pull Amanda away from them as Oli laughs at us. 

"Time for me to sleep." Amanda mumbles. "Can we meet later for a sleepover in your room? I'll bring the food." She pouts at me and I nod my head as I head towards the stairs. 

"I need to eat and then go back outside to meet the rest of the Alphas and Sires." I sigh as I click my fingers beside me. My dress shortens in an instant as I walk upstairs with ease. 

"Life of a queen." Amanda laughs as she disappears into her room on the ground floor. 

I roll my eyes as I walk into my room and see trays of sandwiches and food on the table. 

I grin. Time to get stuffed.

"Wake up! You're going to be late!" Eliza shakes me on the bed. 

I groan as I hide my face under the pillow. "No." I mumble, trying to push her hands away from me. 

"You have the ballroom dance today, wake up!" She shakes me harder and I groan louder. 

"Fine!" I sigh as I open my eyes slowly to see Amanda sprawled on the ground, sleeping effortlessly. 

"Wake her up." I mumble to Eliza as I sit up in bed, staring at the clock. It read 12pm. "I'm late!"I exclaim suddenly as I move to the other side of the bed and climb down from the high bed as I head to the bathroom. 

"This is all fault!" I glare at both of them as I close the bathroom door behind myself. 

We had a sleepover and they both cried their eyes out to me saying how proud they were. Amanda said she feels like she's pregnant so we had taken a test and  she was indeed pregnant. There were tears and laughter and I drank wine on behalf of them both. I was utterly drunk mumbling how hot Alec was but today was a new day. 

You will see him today. Ava points out and I roll my eyes as I strip down in the bathroom to quickly have a shower. 

I will see everyone. I reply back to her. 

Hmm.

"Your majesty." One of the Michael's, bow in front of my throne. "May I have this dance?" He asks as he holds his hand out. 

I had gotten ready as fast as I could in an hour while eating as well. At one, I was supposed to be in the ballroom and watching the men and women dance. 

I had asked dad why this mattered and he pulled out the Royal Crystal Pack book for me and read from it. The Queen must participate in ceremonies after the crowning. She must dance with the males and they must tell her about their pack. She would need to hold a meeting during lunch where she would need to ask them questions about their lives and their pack lives. It must be done. 

I had rolled my eyes and just finished eating quickly as I got ready. Apparently this was a test for the Queen to see her response towards the problems within packs. 

"You may." I place my hand in his as he helps me down the few steps and towards the dance floor. There was food on the left side of the ballroom, far far away from the dance floor. 

I sigh, a smile on my face as I move my face away from the food table and I place my hands on his shoulders. 

"Tell me about your pack." I ask him as we say side to side to the live music playing. 

I could see Eliza and Oli dancing on the dance floor with Amanda dancing with some stranger. 

"It is a small pack in London. We have around 30 people in our pack." He says and I nod my head as he sighs. "I was wondering if it was possible to join packs with someone else?" He asks. 

"I think if both parties agree to one Alpha, it is possible." I nod my head and he smiles. 

"My mate, she is from Scotland, and I think I would like to move my pack there. We could be one." He nods his head to himself and I smile. 

"I think that sounds lovely." I say to him. 

"May I have this dance?" I hear his voice behind me as Michael nods his head at him. 

Michael moves away as Alec steps in front of me. He bows down with a smirk on his face. "Good afternoon, your majesty." 

The way he says your majesty.  Ava swoons as I wrap my arms around his shoulders. 

I smile at him. "Tell me about your pack." I ask him, the words fluent on my tongue since I had been saying them for an hour at least. 

"I think you know about them." He asks as he twirls me out and back in. "You tell me, how have you been?" He questions. 

"I have been good," I tell him. "I've been training a lot." We sway side to side. "What about you?" I ask him. 

"The last five years? I've been helping my pack grow and getting my temper under control." He says to me. "I think I've been doing really good lately." He smiles at me. 

"I've been growing a garden." I tell him and he raises an eyebrow in question. "Different colour roses. I didn't know there were blue roses." I grin at him. "Red, yellow, blue and pink roses. I think I'm going to be growing some vegetables." I say to him as he pulls me closer to him. 

"And the bakery?" He asks. 

I smile. He had heard about it. 

"Let's not tell anyone that the design of the cake is yours." I say and he laughs as he spins me out again, the music pumping through my blood. 

"And if I do? Do I get 50 percent shares?" 

"Never." I grin at him as I wrap my arm around him again. 

"You seem happy." He whispers to me softly, as we stop dancing. He lifts his hand up and he places his hand on my cheek gently. Sparks. 

"I am happy." I tell him truthfully. 

"I missed you, Emily." I feel his thumb caressing my cheek gently. "I hope you are feeling better." Better than I last saw you. 

I smile at him. "I am feeling much better. You?" I ask him softly. 

"Much better." 

"May I have a dance?" Another male asks behind me. 

"I will see you tomorrow." Alec smiles at me as he takes a step back and allows the other man to hold my hand.
