Five years later.

"Mommy! Quick! Daddy is coming!" Lisa giggles as she stands on top of the stairs laughing.

"Hunter!" Savannah laughs as Hunger chases her down the castle stairs, her gown flowing behind her as he wraps his arms around her waist and lifts her up.

"I caught Mommy!" He spins her around so she was facing Lisa.

"He caught her!" Lisa claps her hands excitedly as she stands besides me.

"Come on baby, let's let Auntie Em get ready. Today is her big day," Savannah holds her hands out to Lisa and Lisa jumps into her arms, giggling.

"I'll send Eliza up." She says to me and I nod my head as I stand up from the step and walk towards my room.

I open the door and smile at the huge bed. Just today and then I could collapse on it.

I close the door behind me as I walk into the closet, to get my dress.

Today was my Crown ceremony. I would officially be crowned as the Queen of the supernatural world. It had been a long journey and not an easy one but I was finally here.

I see my dress and I smile at it. It was an off the shoulder blue princess dress with beautiful sparkles.

"I brought your crown!" I hear Eliza's voice as she enters the room. I walk out of the closet and see her placing a red box on the bed gentle. She was already dressed in a lilac gown.

"You look beautiful." I smile at her and she grins, looking down at herself.

"Well this little one is going to grow soon," she places a hand on her stomach, "It's my only time to wear some nice tight fitted clothes." She says and I chuckle.

"Are my vows ready?" I ask her and she nods as she lifts the piece of paper off the red box.

"All written here. Are you nervous?" She asks and I shake my head.

"I feel ready for this."

"We're all really proud of you." She holds my hand tightly and I smile at her. "Jaxi and Beth are making sure everyone is sitting in their seats. Oli is with Hunter and Savannah, making sure the food is ready as well."

"He's probably eating it." I point out and she nods, laughing.

"My dads are with Jaxi and making sure the magic is in place. They'll give us a go sign so we need to get you ready." She claps her hands at me.

"I just need to wear my dress." I tell her as she closes the door to the room and tells me to strip.

I laugh as I walk into the closet, unzipping the long dress and letting it fall to the ground.

"You know who else would be proud of you?" Eliza mumbles softly as she walks around me and towards the blue dress. I watch her unzip the dress and motion me to step inside.

"Miles." I smile at his name as I step into the dress.

It had been five years since he faded into the Afterworld. Five years of pain and pulling myself together for this day. Years of feeling that pain over and over again but I fought through it. Every day, with my family beside me, I fought through it.

When we arrived at the castle, no one uttered a word as I asked Luisa in my mind if there was a cemetery anywhere here. She said no one in the Royal Crystal pack ever died so there wasn't one.

I made one for Miles. We took him to a clearing close to the Castle and we buried him. I cried, I screamed, I laughed. I made a vow I would be stronger.

The next day I had woken up and I had let my magic explode from within me. I wasn't going to leash my magic any longer. Cameron was dead. They were all dead and I needed a fresh start. I got out of bed and walked downstairs to see my family waiting in the living room. Everything was covered in plastic wraps.

I need a new start. I said to them with a clear mind. Oli and Eliza had helped me for the first week with my parents. Eliza's dads were taking care of the pack at home while they stayed with me. We cleaned every room in the castle. Eliza became my best friend in the time she spent with me. We explored the house and I asked her if it was silly of me to make a room for Miles. She hugged me tightly and said it wasn't silly at all. Miles had his own room here, with all of his clothes from my parents pack. Books full of recipes and DIY projects because he was in love with learning how to make things. Eliza had shown me a ballroom where we had danced and it was the first time I had laughed during the week. I cried. I cried and my magic screamed to be let out. I let it all go and it was as if I could hear his voice around me, far far away.

Get up. I'm right here beside you. Forever and ever.

It changed everything. I trained every day with my dad as Oli and Eliza went back to the pack house. I trained my magic with my mom and my grandma. They came. They all came for me.

I had healed slowly but I had done it. I did not dream of his death over and over again. I woke up every day early in the morning, and I threw my magic into the shield around Lockridge Falls.

Hunter had moved in with me once my parents had to go back. I wasn't alone. His whole clan of vampires had come to live in the houses in the village. Savannah and Hunter had a small wedding and Lisa was their daughter. She was three years old and she loved the princess life.

They stayed with me in the castle.

"Breathe in. It's all the cake you've been eating," she huffs as I laugh and breath in and I feel her zip up the dress.

"Perfect." She let's out a breath behind me as I turn to the side and look at myself in the mirror. I was no longer going to hide my scars. Any part of me.

You could see the scars on my back as the dress had a very low back but I still looked beautiful.

"So remind me what I have to do again?" Eliza crosses her arms as she stares at me through the mirror.

I smile as I twist a strand of my hair around my finger. My hair was in a bun which Eliza had said would look lovely with my crown.

She hands me my diamond earrings. "I sit outside on the throne and you will read out my vows. I accept them all, and you will place the crown on my head. My magic will erupt and I will officially be queen of the supernatural world."

"So my sister in law, also best friend," she bends down to place blue heels in front of me. "Is going to officially be a bitch queen?"

"I am not that!" I glare at her as I slid my feet into the heels.

"My lady," she fakes a bow, "you nearly bit Savannah's head off." She smirks at me as I stand up straighter.

"She dropped his photo and I did apologise." I point out as I walk out of the closet with her behind me.

"I think I can do a better job of the photo now," Eliza shrugs her shoulders and I shake my head.

"I think it's perfect and he would have loved it." I tell her and she nods her head.

Eliza liked to paint. It wasn't something she did for others but herself. My birthday had been rough the first year Miles had died. I wanted to be alone and she had walked into the room with Oli behind her, holding a very big canvas. She said it was my birthday present and then they walked out of the room, leaving me alone.

She had painted Miles with a crown on his head and a big smile. I had cried and the next day I had hugged her tightly and thanked her. When I walked into the royal living room, I had lifted it up with magic and placed it on the empty wall.

He would always be the King of the castle.

"Ladies," Amanda knocks on the door and opens it as she pops her head in. "Are you read-" she gasps as she stares at my dress.

Nobody had seen it except Eliza who had helped me design it.

"You look drop dead gorgeous. All of the males are going to pass out outside!" She exclaims as she walks into the room.

"That's what I keep telling her. She should meet someone!" Eliza holds her palm up and Amanda high fives her.

Amanda had been different after Miles death. She came to me and I had screamed at her. It was a whole month after his death and every part of the training I was learning, I used on her. Mom had stopped my magic, tried, before I could kill her. We had fought and it was dirty and she had said I wasn't the only who loved him. I told her why did you not wait? Care? She told me she wanted to live her life and all I could see was red and Miles dying over and over again.

I had nearly killed her. She was seconds away from dying when I heard his voice. You are not a monster.

I saved her before she died and I apologised. It seemed like we both needed to get out of our system. Recently she had been seeing someone new but she was afraid to introduce him to me in case I turned into a raging bitch Eliza had said.

"I will find someone when I need to." I roll my eyes at both of them as I look at myself in the mirror.

I was really beautiful in this dress.

"When do you think you will need someone?" Eliza wiggles her eyebrows at me.

"Shut up!" I gasp at her as Amanda laughs.

"We should hook her up with someone today. When they all come to kiss your hand, tell us what you think!" She grins at me.

"Yes! We could rate them from one to ten." Eliza winks at me and I roll my eyes at them both.

"Is she ready?" I hear a knock on the door and its my dad.

"Yes Jaxi." Eliza replies back innocently as Amanda opens the door to him.

Dad walks inside wearing a black suit and he grins at me.

"Who knew I had a queen as my daughter," he chuckles as he holds his arm out to me. "Come on, let's go. Everyones here and your mom and grandma can't hold the shield up any longer." He says to me and I nod my head as I walk towards him.

Eliza picks up the vows and red box as they both follow us behind.

In order for every supernatural person to come to the Crown ceremony, we had to throw shields around their territories. I could easily do it since my magic was getting stronger day by day, but dad said I needed every drop of magic for today. For when my magic erupts and creates a link to every supernatural in the world. It was why they had to be here. Mom and grandma and their friend, Carter were holding the shield around every pack territory together.

"Is everyone really here?" I ask him and he chuckles as she we walk down the stairs slowly so I wouldn't fall.

"You have no idea. I think we're going to run out of food with the way Oli is eating." He laughs as he turns to look at Eliza behind us. "Its like he is the one that is pregnant." Dad says and we all laugh.

"He's stressed out." Eliza says as we reach the bottom of the stairs and I let out a deep breath.

"This is it." Dad says to me.

"We can run away from the responsibilities and live far far away," Eliza whispers in my ear and I roll my eyes at her, shaking my head.

"My princess is turning into a queen today." Dad says as he takes a step forward with me.

Final seconds of living life as a princess.

Luisa laughs around us.

She's going to be a queen!

It's going to be so magical!

I hear the voices of the Royal Crystal Pack around me as we near the door.

The men smile at me and wink as the bow down low. They were from Hunters pack and since they were border patrol, they stood beside the door instead since Lockridge Falls was always shielded.

They rise and open the door slowly.

Its happening.

I hear the chants of millions of people as I walk out of the castle. My family stand on either side of the throne as I walk around it.

Wolves were walking around on the stairs, guarding the higher up so no one would break through the barrier and come towards me. My eyes scan the crowd as I notice them all chanting the same words over and over again. Long live the Royal.

I smile as my dad walks me towards the Throne that was placed high above them all. The streets of Lockridge Falls were full with people further than I could see. I lift my hand up slowly and wave at them just as I had practiced with Eliza and Amanda in the ballroom a million times the crowd erupts with cheers as I smile and sit down on the throne carefully.

Dad takes a step forward and lowers his arms to the crowd. Silence fills the world in seconds as Eliza blushes a little as she straightens the paper out.

It was nerve racking for her to read it in front of everyone but when I asked, she had screamed and said yes a million times.

The vows were read by the King or the soulmate of the Queen. Miles was supposed to read them to me, as we both accepted the crown. I trusted Eliza with my life and I wanted her to read them to me. She had helped me the most through everything. She understood what I was going through.

Take your time. I smile at her as she lets out a deep breath and starts to read.

"Vows. What are they? A promise for the better future? Will you make a vow for a better future? Of course you will." I smile as she continues. "The world will see you as the most beautiful Queen ever. They will know about your past, your scars, your fears. Should you alone make a promise for a better future? No. Should you alone make a promise for a better world? For peace? For protection against every evil? No."

The words Miles had written for me five years ago when I had asked what I should promise the world.

"I promise to make you all smile when you call upon me. I promise to not judge you on what has happened in your life. I promise when you call for my help, I will be there. I promise to heal you when you ask. I promise to defend your pack, clan, coven or group when you call on me. I will not shy away from your fears, I will not shy away from a helping hand. We will all have bad days, and for that I say I will stand beside you, holding your hand for the world to see that we are united. We are one. I may have a crown on my head, but I will be your friend first and your queen after." Eliza finishes off as she smiles at the paper sadly.

You think that would make them accept me?

I think they will treasure you.

"Long live the Royal!" The chants start suddenly and I smile as Eliza picks up the red box. She opens it slowly as everyone quietens down.

She pulls out the crown and I smile as I stare at the beauty of it. It was the crown my mother had worn for when she had accepted her crown. Eliza and I had been exploring the castle when we had found the jewellery room. She found it but she could not get past the shield. The second I had touched the door, it had opened and I smiled as we walked into the room that shined with diamonds. Necklaces, tiaras, crowns, earrings, jewellery.

We had seen the crown on the glass stand with the other crowns. For Emily to wear on her Crown Ceremony.

It had been perfect.

Eliza raises her eyebrows at me as she smiles and walks towards me with the crown. I hold in my breath with the crowd as she lowers the crown onto my head slowly.

My magic erupts from within me. Nobody realises it happening but I feel their happiness through me as I link up with every single supernatural in the world. I was not part of a pack or a clan. I was their Queen.

Hottie in 3 2 1. Eliza gushes in my mind as she stands beside me.

It had been hours since the ceremony had passed by and I was meeting Alphas and Sires and witches every other second.

"Your majesty," his british accent flows through as he bows down low at me and holds my hand. They all wanted to kiss my hand.

I feel his lips on my hand as he introduces himself. Another Michael from a british pack that Amanda was writing down next to me.

My parents had sneaked off to eat.

"It is lovely to meet you," he smiles at me as I pull my hand away slowly with a smile on my face.

"Likewise."I reply as Eliza moves him away.

I spot Oli sneaking around a pillar.

"Oli!" I call out to him as I see him with a plate full of food that I wanted.

He shushes me as he stands behind the castle pillars.

I'm taking it inside for you, Eliza and Amanda. Dad said you can take a bathroom break. Eat in your room quickly. He tells me in my mind and I grin, nodding my head at him.

"Emily."

I hear his voice and I turn around to see him standing in front of me. He hadn't changed. It is the only thing that crosses my mind as I see him standing there, a small smile on his face as he looks at me.

"You truly are a queen." He says to me softly.
