A little party never killed nobody
"It'll be fun, I promise. But we can't tell you what it is yet.", Penelope said as she did Limas hair. Penelope was a friend of Julias from her work place, but her and Lima had never actually met until now. She was nice though. Her hourglass figure and ebony black skin made her look like a supermodel, but the pink streaks in her hair and leather outfit gave her this incredibly sexy vibe that could only mean one thing.
"You're dragging me to a party aren't you?", Lima turned around in her chair and stared at Julia, who simply nodded it off and smiled. Lima hated parties, the loud music, the sweaty bodies, the alcohol. Even thinking about it made her want to curl up into a ball and hide under the covers of her bed. But she said: "Fine, I'll go. But only because I like you guys."
"Yes!", Pen yelled, raised up her arms and spun in a circle like a toddler, "now let's put you into something hot!"

"I hate this", Lima said as they entered the club. It was smoky and dark and sweaty and everything she despises. But now that she was here, might as well have a good time.
"Do you drink?", Pen asked her as they made their way to the bar. Lima kept pulling down her too short and too tight black dress, that kept sliding up her thighs. "Usually not but tonight it doesn't seem like such a bad idea."
Penelope smiled as she ordered 6 shots of tequila and the women drank them quickly.
The night went by quicker than Lima had expected, and when she made her way outside the bar for some fresh air she looked at the time and noticed it was already 4 in the morning. Her feet hurt from the high heels, her skin felt sticky and tight and the dress all of a sudden made it hard for her to breath.
"Hello there pretty! Can I help you with something?"
Lima froze, unable to turn to see whose voice it was. He sounded older, but she couldn't be sure. Stay calm she told herself as she straightened her back and responded: "I'm fine, no worries. I just needed a little rest before going back to my friends in the club. They are waiting for me."
Suddenly she felt a large hand on the back of her thigh and she needed all the strength she had not to throw up right there. "Please don't touch me. I don't like that", she said slowly, trying to keep her voice from shaking with fear.
"A pretty girl like you, you gotta get touched, right boys?"
Lima closed her eyes in fear. There were more of them, and she could hear them circling her like sharks, agreeing with their friend and getting closer. She could smell the stench of alcohol, cigarettes and weed coming from them and it made her dizzy.
"Is there a problem here?"
Wait!
She knew that voice.
As she turned around she met the black eyes of an all too familiar person. In any other situation she probably would've rolled her eyes, scoffed and made some comment about this being New York City and it still not being big enough for the two of them not to meet. But not in this moment. In this moment, he was the most incredible person she ever met.
It might have been the tequila talking though.
"We're all good here. We're just having a bit of fun.", the drunk guy said. For the first time Lima looked at him. He was tall, and big, way bigger than Billy was. To Lima all of them looked like pigs- pink, sweaty skin, small eyes, big nose and big body. His friends and him were all wearing leather jackets and heavy boots, their hair shaved into a buzzcut.
"She doesn't look like she's having fun. Are you having fun?", Lima looked at Billy and slowly shook her head.
"Alright. How about I'll bring her back to her friends in the club then. She seems to not enjoy spending time with you guys.", Billy grabbed her wrist hard and pulled her out of the circle of men, staring him down with anger.
"I don't think so man. Come on, we're just trying to play a little bit. We're not gonna hurt her. You can join if you want.", that made Billys hand tighten around Limas wrist so hard, she was sure it would leave a bruise. He slowly turned around to face them again, standing so Lima was behind him, protected.
"Leave or I'll call the police."
"I don't think so, asshole!", the pig said and moved towards Billy. But he was fast. With one punch the pig was on the floor, holding his broken nose, crying. Lima hadn't even seen him move, but it was probably because her vision was still blurry from the drinks from the club.
She slowly realized the other guys- might have been 4 or 5- approach Billy, but he didn't move. He looked at them all, estimating. She felt someone push her out of the way and when she landed on the floor, scraping her hand and knees she suddenly felt sober.
As she looked up, slowly getting back on her feet she saw one of the pigs approaching her. "Hello there, sexy lady. Do you want to play with me?" He grabbed her by the waist, turned her and pressed his crotch against her ass. But Lima learned how to defend herself from men, and when it was 1 on 1 she at least felt like she had a chance. So she elbowed him, hard. When he went down on his knees, she kicked him in the chest and watched him fall backwards on the asphalt, still holding his crotch.
"Remind me never to piss you off.", Billy said behind her and she turned to face him.
"You do that all the time Russo. I'm used to it from you by now.", Lima started, and she would've kept going, but then she remembered what he did for her, "Thanks for helping me. Not many people would've."
"I'm sure other people would've helped you too.", Billy shifted his weight and scratched the back of his neck, but Lima could see the little smile he was trying to hide.
Lima pointed at the other people standing around in line of sight, who were still observing the situation, but hadn't moved an inch. "Well, nobody else has. So thank you. What are you doing here anyway?"
"My friend owns the club. And he invited me."
"Then I probably shouldn't keep you much longer"; Lima said and turned towards the street.
"Where are you going?"
"Home. I need to clean up and honestly, I don't feel like partying anymore after what just happened." Billys eyes moved down her body and only then he noticed her bleeding hands and knees.
"Let me help you with that. I live much closer. I am not a clubbing person anyway, so you'd be doing me a favor and that way you don't have to take the train for an hour to New Jersey." Lima turned around to eye him suspiciously.
"Come on. I have a guest room.", he raised his eyebrows and opened his arms in an inviting gesture, that made Lima smile and nod. "Fine. Your place then"
