CHAPTER 40: AFTERMATH

The whole week passed,

Randhir and Sanyukta didn't speak words to assure themselves as their actions are enough to assure and promise themselves to be together forever at all the cost.

But Granny could feel the tension in air between everyone. She knows Randhir is not a true gentleman of being at his best behaviour with family members but at the same time he never disrespect anyone.

Lately, Randhir cannot meet Kiran's or Anil's eyes for some reason. Though he doesn't have that regular relationship with them but it was never a tiff for him to say hi or pass food trays in the dining table.

These made her very worried about something had happened.

Randhir smiled at Sanyukta's rant about her college and happenings. Randhir knew he is not his usual self but Sanyukta is doing all her best to make him normal that is just enough to melt his heart.

Sanyukta kissed his cheeks "Randhir Can I ask you something?" asked hesitant.

Randhir concentrated on her more because this was new, something very new of Sanyukta to ask him for the first time and he resolved that he would do whatever it is.

Randhir "Yeah, just order my highness don't ask" said with a small smile.

Sanyukta "O...Randhir...Should we go out somewhere...like some place just to have a piece of mind, honestly you and me knew this is not helping you...may be a change of place would do some good so" said her opinion.

Randhir nodded "It is good idea though I have a project enclose by this weekend so let me plan and tell you...okay?" asked.

Sanyukta "Okay...love you" said hugging him close falling asleep.

NEXT DAY,

Granny knocked over the doors "Randhir...are you there?" asked.

Sanyukta who was doing her assignment got up and opened the door "Granny...you here are you okay?" asked helping her inside the room.

Granny "I am fine Sanyukta...but Randhir is not fine isn't?" asked.

Sanyukta's eyes dropped to the floor as she fiddled her fingers and Granny held her softly making her look at her "What happened tell me Sanyukta?" asked.

Sanyukta couldn't withhold as she told everything to her. Granny sat their in shock and cried her heart out to Sanyukta.

Granny "So much of things happened and I did not know what Randhir was going through...and even after these deceives Kiran is supporting Nada going to the extent ruining her own Daughter's Ragini's life" said sadly.

Sanyukta sobbed but this caught her attention "One second...your right, why is Kiran aunty helping Nada? Our minds didn't think at that connection" said thoughtfully.

The same night,

Randhir came home and walked straight to his room and Sanyukta jumped on his arms "I missed you" mumbled against his chest.

And, that brought a small smile on his lips as he locked the door "I missed you too" replied.

She looked up at him "I missed this smile too" said placing her finger over his lips.

He said nothing as he knows what the reason is and he couldn't help with his sorrow especially seeing Kiran and Anil every day.

He pulled her close and hugged her "I wish I could have you with me always" murmured.

Sanyukta "I am here only Randhir" said as her mind reeled of an idea.

Next day,

Sanyukta dialled Aram's number and greeted as the call connected "Good morning Aram".

Aram "Good morning Sanyukta madam..." greeted very surprised.

Sanyukta closed her eyes trying to gain confidence "I know...this...may be weird. I kind of...need your...help" stammered.

Aram knowing her better "Sanyukta madam...you just have to say your order" said politely.

Sanyukta nodded to herself as asked the things she wanted him to do.

After a long of ten minutes,

Sanyukta breathed in and out as she proceeded further with her plan.

Further few days passed just for Friday to arrive,

The evening dawned,

Sanyukta wore her formal clothes just to see Randhir walk inside the room and plop on the bed.

She felt bad at his exhaustion as the project he was working on were suppose to be completed earlier that it was agreed before, though it is an advantage to her plan she made but still she can't see him this way.

Randhir sat and looked at her "Why are you still in college clothes?" asked being used to seeing her in light coloured top and longs during the night.

She came to him "Can you do me a favour? Actually a trail of favour" asked.

He frowned and yet smiled at her nervous and red face "Sweetheart...this face of yours is cute and desirable that I want to kiss it so bad" said huskily.

She blushed harder but shrugged to get herself together "Can you?" asked firm.

He chuckled "Yeah...tell me" said.

She looked at him once sensing the normalcy after a long time "First, Go and get fresh then come back" said pulling him up.

Randhir "That's what I usually do, sweetheart...what's the..." asked but to her get shut.

Sanyukta "Go..." pushed him towards the washroom.

He rushed inside and locked it as Sanyukta "Your change clothes is also in there" shouted.

Randhir "Okay" answered in loud voice "What you are up to?" asked to his self being a little excited.

He walked out surprised "Sanyukta...these clothes are my casual clothes not sleeping ones" exclaimed pulling his long grey T-shirt up to his elbow.

But what surprised him were the maids taking out a suite case and walking out along Sanyukta standing with her handbag.

She turned to look at him and walked to the table where his wallet and mobile were. She took them in her hand and hand it over him "Second, Come with me...please" asked.

Randhir knew that she is up to something and gave his hand to her "Wherever you say" said.

She held it as they two walked out, climbed down the stairs and walked out of the mansion door to her car where a driver stood.

Before that she looked up where Granny stood "Enjoy" she said.

Randhir "Which means...is her part of this?" asked.

Sanyukta nodded and opened the door for him "Sit" said and closed it once he sat.

She opened the other side and looked at the driver "You know where to take us?" asked.

He nodded his head as Sanyukta sat in to see Randhir's lips with a smile playing on his lips.

The car speeded in its traffic then straight to VIP airport..

He looked at Sanyukta, who fiddled her fingers in anticipation of his reaction.

Randhir "We are going to airport" said as a statement as the driver passed the gate and straight to where his private jet stood.

Just like she made him opened the door for him "Come on..." exclaimed.

They boarded the plane and this time Sanyukta wore his seat belt while walking to the front and speaking to the hostess and pilot.

She came back and sat next to him "We will be up in the air of five minutes" said to him.

Randhir "I know this is a surprise for me but I also know that you're scared of flight" said the fact.

She smiled sheepish as he pulled the hand bar up and scooting her close to him.

There he latched his lips with hers completely distracting her from the take off. As the flight was on its levelled position, they broke apart panting heavy.

He closed his eyes calming himself as he stood up abruptly walking where the air hostess seated "Don't disturb us" ordered.

He came back and picked Sanyukta in his arms to the room in the flight.

Closing in, he kissed her again walking straight to the bed.

She couldn't keep up to his fervour but just as they landed on bed. She climbed on top of him and took control of the kiss.

As they broke apart, Randhir "I think this would keep us busy for the entire flight" said as a fact. Soon they divulged in their passion of love.

The flight landed on the ground as Randhir chuckled looking at her flushed face.

She kept her eyes totally down as the airhostesses contaminate her smile. As they stood at the exit of the flight, she took a deep breath "Welcome to Dubai, Randhir" welcomed him as they step on the stairs to climb down.

He looked at her very surprised "We are in Dubai?" asked as he looked around feeling the humidity.

Sanyukta "Yes" answered as the duo walked down straight to the limousine.

Randhir was pretty shocked with her surprise for him knowing how Sanyukta closed and not open to self let alone to him. She is not used to this and yet she trying something for him that made him feels happier and fall steeply in love with her.

The car drove a bit faster then he should as Sanyukta asked him to hurry up looking at her watch again and again.

He frowned but let her manage this and waited to see what she had planned for him.

They came into view of tallest building on the earth 'Burj Khalifa' as the car parked on its opposite lane.

The roads were jammed with cars but they reached using the emergency lane.

Sanyukta "Come on...Randhir, we need to rush" hurried as she literally pulled him with her to the floor of the building and entered into the lift pushing button terrace.

Randhir "Hey, that's the terrace" exclaimed.

Sanyukta "I know" hurriedly told looking at her watch.

Randhir frowned just then the lift door open just to get to see a balloon with a note 'Welcome Mr. And Mrs. Shekhawat' along the door keys to the terrace.

She unlocked them faster and together they both reached the end where they met with the perfect view 'Burj Khalifa'.

She smiled as she stood in front of him "Let the past be anything Randhir. We both had our share of past and its revelation. We have our own wounds and I am sure we can heal it too together. Just smile and smile, your happiness is all I care about and live for. Let them go and be you. The past will be with us but don't let it affect our present. On that note, let's begin the new beginning with a smile" said smiling.

Randhir smiled wide and kissed her forehead "I love you and I promise I will always be smiling" promised.

She hugged him and pecked his lips "Then let us begin" said.

He smiled not knowing what she is saying off just then she turned him towards the Burj Khalifa "Look" said.

He looked at it as she intertwined her fingers with him "Happy new year Randhir" wished just then the fireworks went off from the Burj Khalifa.

He smiled "It is...is...so beautiful" exclaimed.

Sanyukta "I am glad you like it" said looking at him then at the fire works.

The firework exploded into many colours as they stood watching them.

Randhir "I know you want me to smile for a new beginning. And, before that I have something to do which may change or ruin many things" said as his face dimmed.

Sanyukta frowned "What is it?" asked.
