CHAPTER 37: WE ARE FINE

Sanyukta wore her usual dress and walked out of the washroom half happy and half sad having two different reasons.

Happy that she is going to go for college without any worries of money or working two jobs under pressure, but sad and worried because she felt herself uncomfortable to walk after their consummation. More to this she is bleeding heavy and she cannot come up to a conclusion on what and why is she bleeding so much when she just got over with her period four or five days ago.

Randhir got into his usual black pant, white shirt and blazer. He noticed her thinking something deep as she combed her hair into a pony tail.

He hugged her from back "Ready for college?" asked.

Sanyukta's face brightened and had a 100 watts powered smile "Yes" said enthusiastically leaving all her old thoughts.

Randhir "First breakfast then we can go there straight" said s they both walked down the stairs to dining table.

Granny sat on her chair and frowned "Where is Kiran and Ragini?" asked.

Randhir "Ragini...Ragini is not here Granny" said as he poured himself a glass of juice.

Sanyukta placed the breads on their respective plate and saw Granny watching her.

Anil "Kiran is out of city because she is having a family marriage attend" butted in as he engrossed himself in his breakfast.

Granny nodded but looked intently at Sanyukta "Dear can you pass the butter to me?" asked.

Sanyukta "Sure granny" said with a huge smile passing it to her.

Granny smiled wide as he saw her smile which she has never seen and looked at Randhir who blinked his eyes at her assuring she is fine and we are fine.

After 15 minutes,

Randhir drove the car with an excited Sanyukta beside him as she checked her bag with new books.

In a minute, the car stopped and the very second Sanyukta noticed that they are in front of a hospital.

She frowned "You know I don't like hospital...what...what are we doing here...wait...are you okay? In all this I forgot about your health" shrieked in panic.

Randhir pulled her close and pecked her lips "It is not me it is you who is not well" said.

Sanyukta looked confused "Me...I am fine Randhir...let's get out of this place" said annoyed.

Randhir "Listen baby...I know your bleeding" said.                      

Sanyukta looked at him wide eyed "What, but...how...I mean...I didn't tell..." fumbled as her cheeks flamed high in embarrassment.

Randhir loved seeing her blush like that it made her look more ravishing "I just know...I noticed on that night, yesterday morning and also today morning. I found the place you slept has a blood stain and I knew...This...this is embarrassing for you Sanyukta...But it's normal in a relation of husband and wife and I even checked in internet that...this is common for the first time but...I feel...I feel...I want you to be healthy especially after your medical records" said walking out and helping her out.

Sanyukta hugged him "I had no one to care about me, thanks for coming in my life" said kissing his chest above his heart resides.

Randhir "I should be the one doing it...let's go I already took an appointment and we have a window of 20 minutes before your college starts" said with a smile but he was hell scared what doctor is going to say.

10 minutes later,

Doctor and Sanyukta walked out of the parted room for privacy.

Randhir looked up "Is everything okay?" asked.

Doctor "Well...It is normal Mr. Shekhawat to bleed after first intercourse and on my check up I assure you she is fine and I can guarantee you that she will stop bleeding in two days" said with a smile.

Randhir smiled in relief "Thank you doctor" said.

Sanyukta "It is better we haven't come here" said as she looked around the hospital room just like a zombie.

Doctor "I understand you don't like this place Mrs. Shekhawat but I am happy that Mr. Shekhawat has brought you here" said.

They both looked at each other than the doctor "Yes...I just reviewed your medical reports and saw you have recovered a half way through from the medicines that you are taking now. And, at this point I would really like to advice you both to better use protection" said.

Randhir "Why...I mean, it is not a big thing but is everything okay with her?" asked.

Doctor "Everything is perfect Mr. Shekhawat but she is eighteen and her infection has to be removed completely before she gets pregnant otherwise it may be a problem for her and baby too" said.

Randhir "I understand" said.

Doctor "Were you planning for a baby Mr. Shekhawat?" asked.

Randhir "No...We never thought about that at all, it...it's so sudden with this questionnaire of yours...but its good we just knew this before" said as he thought "Crap...I didn't use any protection"

Sanyukta blinked her eyes "But doctor will I have any problem with that?" asked worried.

Doctor "You won't, Only if you guys plan for a baby after two years or more because the mother has to be strong enough to bear everything and I am not saying this to scare you guys...I am being really cautious because you could find many couples not knowing these and come to a situation where they won't be able to do anything after things happen" said as she wrote prescription.

Randhir "Doctor, I am being frank with you we didn't use protection" said as fear of losing her was evident in him, it just scared him so much.

Doctor "No worries...she just got over with her periods so she won't be pregnant I am sure about it" said.

Randhir "Thanks doctor for being helpful and informing things before it" said.

Sanyukta too nodded her head in approval "Thank you too" said.

Randhir collected the papers and walked out of the cabin with her. He touched his pocket "I forgot my mobile in the cabin, just a moment okay" said and went back to get the mobile.

Sanyukta had varied thoughts of her being pregnant what if she can never be? And, will Randhir want babies? What if he doesn't want, after all he didn't mention that he want a baby?

Randhir knocked in "Sorry...I forgot my mobile here" said.

Doctor "It is good that you came back" said.

Randhir "Why doctor?" asked.

Doctor "I am a girl myself Mr. Shekhawat that is why I just want to tell you that your wife is more concerned about having a baby is possible or not, even not bothering about her health. She has not understood the depth of the matter as her mind blocked with the thought that can she be pregnant or not" said.

Randhir stood confused and doctor "I observed her, I think she really loves babies so when this matter came she is scared of that if she can get pregnant or not? So I request you to sit with her and get her appealed to the fact that she can get pregnant of course but after some time. Just make her vocalize about her feelings regarding this and tell her what you want also" said with a smile.

That's when Randhir understood "Thank you doctor...that's really a helpful one" said as he went out.

In the car,

Randhir "You okay?" asked.

Sanyukta nodded her head and moved towards him "I love you" said as she gave a peck on his lips.

Randhir took a back at that and really felt the doctor's word coming up true. This matter was definitely eating her up "I love you too baby" said as he started driving the car.

In few more minutes, they reached the college. Sanyukta face lit up and Randhir "Hey...I wanted to give you these" said giving her a new purse.

Sanyukta "I already have a bag...I don't need a purse" asked.

Randhir "Well...you need this" said extending it to her.

Sanyukta took it and opened it. She saw few bucks of money and two credit card of her name with another one as debit card.

Sanyukta shook her head in denial "No way" said.

Randhir "No arguments on this or anything related to these Sanyukta...enough of those past things...let it be there with you...you need this and my wife shouldn't deprived of anything when I am not around her" said strictly.

Sanyukta opened her mouth to defend but he pulled her close kissed her.

Sanyukta's shoulder slumped down "Fine" said grumpily.

Randhir "And, I have messaged the pin numbers to your mobile. Don't share it with anybody okay? (She nodded her head) this is your identity card" said giving this too.

Sanyukta unwillingly took that in her hand but noticed something that her name was written as Sanyukta Randhir Singh Shekhawat not Agarwal and the address section had Shekhawat mansion's address.

Her lips curved into a smile automatically and Randhir did his happy dance in his mind as he knows this can make her happy.

Randhir "Now keep these two safe in your bag and you have your mobile right?" asked.

Sanyukta "Yes" said enthusiastically.

Randhir "Good girl...Come on give me a good bye kiss?" demanded out of the blue.

Sanyukta's jaw dropped "What" asked.

Randhir laughed at her expression and pulled her to his lap straight and kissed her senseless.

She gasped for breath "That is a good bye kiss" said as she hid her face in his chest.

She got down the car and closed her door as he drew the window down "I will pick you up in the evening baby and take your mobile off the silence just once you come out of your classes okay" said as they bid bye.

Sanyukta walked away inside her college and Randhir drove away making sure she is inside the college.

The whole day passed as Sanyukta and Randhir got them busy with everything that needs to be hold.

Sanyukta passed pleasantries to everyone who sat next to her in the classes. But, she really felt awkward socialising after a long time.

She did notice a few girls giving her looks of what is she a zombie? But she ignored everything as Randhir kept messaging her asking about how is she and things around her.

As the day got over, Sanyukta walked from her last class as she received the message that Randhir is 5 minutes away from the college.

Just suddenly, Principal called her "Sanyukta".

Sanyukta turned and saw her "Yes madam" said politely.

Principal "I saw your mark sheet and to be honest you have an excellence performance in the academics" complemented her.

Sanyukta felt proud "Thank you" said.

Principal "And, I really expect you to perform the same way" said as she walked from there.

Sanyukta giggled and walked out to see the crowded parking lot free with her Audi car and Randhir standing there as she is late come out.

She ran to him and hugged him straight "I had a blasting day, especially the end was awesome" said.

Randhir laughed and they both went back to mansion.

They both walked inside holding their hands together. Just walking inside the living room, they saw the sight that dreaded their smile and happiness.

Randhir stood numb as he felt his world crush down to his feet.
