Lucy's Pov

"I'm not coming with you!" I exclaimed hiding behind Natsu.

"Ms. Heartfilia we are tasked to do our job. And our job states that we have to bring you to France." A tall man with dark shades said.

"I already told you didn't I. I'm not coming with you!" I exclaimed once more still hiding behind Natsu.

"Just go with them." Natsu whispered behind me.

"Wha-what are you talking about." I replied.

"Just go with them don't worry I'll follow you there." He whispered and I nodded in response.

I took a deep breath and put a step forward and followed the two tall men.

Victor Conte's Pov

"Welcome home dear." I exclaimed as Lucy walked inside the manor.

"This is my son and your fiancé Richard." I immediately introduced my son who is standing right next to me.

"Nice to meet you, my lady." My son bowed.

"The honor is not mine." She replied bluntly.

Natsu's Pov

I was with the others together with Anna and I already explained everything and when I mean everything. EVERYTHING.

"I can't believe he did that!" Gajeel shouted.

"Maybe there's some reason behind it," Levy added.

"I hope there is but I saw nothing. All I can see in his eyes that time is hatred." I lowered my head.

"So we're following Lucy to France?" Jellal asked.

"Yes, and I think we have to explain the whole ordeal to Juvia as well. She deserves to know." I replied.

No one's Pov

Natsu and the others already arrived in France in no time flat. First, they booked a hotel first then went straight to Juvia's boutique.

"Bonjour Monsieur." one of Juvia's employees greeted but get startled by Natsu's appearance.

"Monsieur Natsu. I'll just call Madame." The employee said.

Natsu's Pov

It's already been a while when we got here looks like she's really busy. I turned my head around when I saw the unexpected. I saw Gray with Juvia by her side.

"What the hell are you doing here of all places!" Gajeel shouted.

"Gajeel-kun if your gonna punch him please do it outside and not in front of my costumers," Juvia said in a monotone voice.

"Why are you defending him! Do you have any idea what this frick has done." Gajeel said.

"Actually Juvia does. Right from the beginning." Juvia replied.

What she does and she didn't even inform me about it!!

"Why?" I asked.

"None of your business." Juvia replied still not changing the tone of her voice.

"Now if you're just here to inform Juvia on what I did you may leave she's  pretty busy at the moment." Gray smirked.

"Unbelievable" Gajeel groaned.

"I know. I can't believe she actually knows all of this right in the very beginning and did not inform me." I groaned.

"Alright let's not focus on that yet. Let's focus on getting Lucy back to us by means of kidnapping." Erza said.

Lucy's Pov

I was in my room which is bigger than my room in my family's mansion before. Until someone knocked.

"Come in." I said.

"This is Carol she will measure you for your gown for the wedding is that Alright." I know it was Victor.

I stood up from my chair and greeted a woman under their early 20's.

"She's an employee of a real good friend of mine that owns a boutique here." Victor said and walked away leaving me with the brunette.

The woman started measuring me silently. I noticed she even measured some very unusual spots like my thigh and my neck.

After the measuring is done the woman politely bowed at me and left silently.

After some time another knock on the door interrupted me. I stood up and opened it. I saw none other than Richard Conte himself.

"What do you want?" I raised a brow.

"It's obvious you're not enjoying your stay. And I don't want that. I'm fine with arrange marriage and all that as long as we're enjoying each other company. The momentmy father put this matter to court, I know I don't have any other choicebut to obey." He stated.

"So you're opposed to this as well." I raised a brow.

"Pretty much. I'm fine with arrange marriage but not forced marriage." He smiled. "I can at least show you somewhere you could like." He added.

"Do you have a library?" I asked.

"Actually yes." He nodded.

Larcade's Pov

I went back to France immediately to do some things on my own. If this whole thing with Lucy is forced Richard won't like that very much. I know him and he's not like his dad plain and simple. But he's not the type of person who would ruin my plans for Uncle.

Natsu's Pov

We finally snuck in. According to Levy Lucy is on the third floor where the library is at. We snuck in and we saw a tall slender man with her.

"Who is he?" I asked as the others snuck in.

"Oh, Natsu this is Richard don't worry he's harmless." Lucy replied with a smile.

"Are you sure he can be trusted, sweetie." Anna said.

"Of course Madame. I'm just as against as you are about this." He replied.

"He seems like he's speaking the truth." Levy stated.

"Lucy if you want you can go with them for a bit. I'll cover for you." He gestured Lucy to come with us.

"Really thanks a bunch. I promise I'll be back before lunch." Lucy squealed and leaped over and hugged me.

"Good because all of us need to have a talk about something." I said.

Lucy's Pov

We are staying at a hotel at the moment all of us are inside and started to talk.

"First off. Gray is the reason you're in this mess and second Juvia knows all about it." Natsu started.

"I mean how could she do that!!!" Gajeel exclaimed.

"I know she wants to be with Gray but we're talking about Gray tricking Natsu here." Erza said.

"We trusted them. Their traitors to you." Auntie pointed out. "If Lucy trust you that much I can handle that but you are betrayed by your own colleagues how can I be sure that it's not gonna happened to us." Auntie added.

"Listen, Gray is an asshole but he's not the type of asshole that would do something like this." Natsu sighed.

He's so stressed I can feel it. And all I can do to comfort him is to hold his hand and rest my head on his shoulder.

"Do you really still believe that something is making him betray you?" Auntie asked and Natsu simply just nodded.

"So what now?" Laxus asked.

"Let's not mind them for now. Our top priority is to stop the wedding." Natsu replied holding my hand tightly.

Victor Conte's Pov

"Why Her?" Larcade asked.

"Many reasons why my boy. First, she's an FBI, it's perfect. Second, she's connected to Dragneel which is nice and lastly, it's because with her I can be even more powerful without the FBI to worry about." I smirked.

"If you want Uncle to suffer I need something." I said.

"Then what is it, my boy." He replied.

"Simple its a family game tradition. If we won he's dead. But if he won it up to him on what's the consequences." I explained.

"I see. There is clearly no way he can win against us." He smirked. "What is it called?" He asked.

"It's called Alegria." I smirked.
