Lucy's Pov

I woke up pretty early in the morning, the sun wasn't even up yet and I decided to take a little walk down the beach.

I wore my pastel pink swimsuit and a white see-through swim cover-up.

I'm leaving footprints behind me and I saw Nate on the beach.

"Hey, Nate!" I ran up to him.

"Lucy!" He greeted me back his body is still in the water, it was only his head that is above water.

"Isn't pretty early for a dip?" I asked him.

"I just love how cold the water is, I can't help myself." He chuckled.

"Mind if I join you?" I requested.

"I'm not quite sure about that, the water is super cold." He said standing up from where he sat showing his toned and drenched abs.

"I can handle it," I said and took a dip in the water joining him.

"Fuck!!" I screamed as the cold water drenched my body.

"I tried to warn ya." He chuckled.

After my stroll and dip with Nate, I decided to go back to the hotel, I was about to reach over to the doorknob until a heard gunshots. My hands started to tremble.

Damnit! I thought I'm over this.

I quickly unlocked the door and hid inside the bathroom.

Lucy stops trembling, you're over this!! Stop being so weak!!

Once the firing stopped. The door heard the door open and close

No one's Pov

Lucy stepped outside the bathroom only to see Vivian still in her pajamas holding a cup of coffee and Juvia in a black dress near the door.

"Juvia, Vivian did you hear those firing, are you two okay," Lucy asked.

"L-Lucy-San," Juvia said.

"Are you two okay, what are you even doing outside?" Lucy asked worriedly.

"Juvia's Fine Juvia Just visited a friend," Juvia answered.

"I just went outside to grab some coffee," Vivian added.

Juvia's Pov

That was so close. I was changing my clothes in the bathroom with a sigh I covered my gun and the strap with my dress.

I exited the bathroom. And Lucy was there fixing her bag and Vivian is sipping her coffee on her table. I then swiftly put my gun and the strap in my secret compartment on my luggage.

"Juvia," she said from behind me.

Crap. She got me.

"This is nothing" I panicked.

"Alright.... by the way, how's our outfit for the ball tonight." She asked.

Alright, Juvia changes the subject.

"Juvia will take care of it, I know someone here" I proudly said.

Gray's Pov

"Gray, you and Juvia take care of that bastard while I'm on the meeting Lucy's with me so there's no need to rush," Natsu said as he finished eating his breakfast.

"Don't worry we got this" I said fixing my shirt.

I exited our room once Natsu and Lucy are at a safe distance. I knocked on Juvia's door as she opened she was wearing a navy blue dress that's showing her bareback and hugged her perfect curves.

"Stop staring let's get this over with." She said bluntly.

What the hell's the matter with her.

"What happened?" I followed her.

"Lucy-San nearly caught me with my gun,"  she said.

Then a bright idea popped into my head. I leaned into her and whispered something in her ear. I hear her giggle and said "you idiot" while punching me lightly on the shoulder

"You happy now?" I asked.

"Yeah, Thanks" she smiled

Lucy's Pov
After the meeting

I sighed and plopped myself on the bed.

"Hey, Lucy suit up," Juvia said behind me as I turn to see her she's wearing a laced navy blue bikini.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"To the beach of course," Vivian said popping out of the bathroom wearing a teal tube full body bikini. "Now go and change," she said as she pushed me to my bag.

We are already on the beach Juvia, Vivian, and I lay on the chairs on the beach.

"It's beautiful" I sighed.

"I know. Hawaii's good and all but the Maldives is my favorite place to hang out with the guys." Juvia said.

"You, Gray, and Boss are practically inseparable." Vivian giggled.

"We're not that inseparable," Juvia replied.

"Anyway, Lucy aren't you Boss' partner for Miss Scarlet's wedding?" Vivian asked.

"Yeah, I am his partner" I sighed

You made sound like it's a bad thing." Vivian laughed.

"Well, it's just weird since he's my boss and all, anyway Juvia, how is your relationship with Gray anyway?" I asked.

"3 years" she answered

"I still don't understand why he hasn't proposed to her yet," Vivian commented.

Natsu's Pov

I and the boys finally went to the beach. Gray directly sat beside Juvia while I sat beside him and the other two sat beside me.

And I seem to notice that Lucy has a great body. No!! Natsu stop this it's bad for you.

After a few moments of sunbathing Juvia stood up from her seat. "Let's go I'm hungry," she said.

"Yeah, I could eat." Lucy stood up as well.

We started following the girls  after we passed through a few shops and I got closer to Gray and asked "Where is the bastard?"

"Mr. Otriz is now delivered to the warehouse for questioning." He replied.

We stopped at the open restaurant at the beach we sat at the atoll as we take our orders.

When the food arrived I can't help but feel a little worried about tonight.

"Gray, the plans for the ball," I said.

"Don't worry they'll be safe." He replied sipping his smoothie.

Natsu's Pov
(After the meal)

We are preparing for the ball. I wear the suit that I use during raids.

"Let's do this" Gray said.

"Yeah" I nodded.

Lucy's Pov

I was wearing the pale pink tube gown that Juvia gave me. It looks more like a nightgown that I see on pageants, to be honest. While Juvia's wearing a navy blue one it had a cut on the side to highlight her long legs, she also wore a leg strap in her exposed right leg, while Vivian wore a teal nightgown with black and white accents on it.

Vivian left the two of us and went with Xavier.

"Just stick with me okay," Juvia told me as we entered the elegant palace-like ballroom.

"Do you know any other language?" she asked.

"Yeah, my dad thought me to speak French" I answered. 

"Good" she replied as she dragged me to a lady with pink hair.

"Juvia" the last squealed.

"Meredy" she greeted.

"Ami de la vôtre" (Friend of yours) she said as she gestured me.

"Ouais" (Yeah) Juvia replied.

"Je m'appelle Lucy Heartfilia" (My name's Lucy Heartfilia) I introduced myself.

"Meredy" the lady smiled.

"She's not French she just lived there since she was a kid," Juvia explained as Meredy nodded.

A few moments later guns shots were heard everyone panicked and I lose sight of Juvia.
Luckily Vivian was there with Meredy, Xavier, and Tyler and we get out of there.

"Where's Juvia" I panicked a little.

"Elle ira Bien" (She'll be fine) Meredy said.

"Qu'en est-il de Natsu et Gray" (What about Natsu and Gray) I asked her.

Natsu's Pov

It's just the three of us in the ballroom. Everyone already left.

"Juvia where are they?" I asked.

"Don't worry about her they're in safe hands" she answered.

"Well well we'll just as expected," a loud voice said.

"Morgan"

Lucy's Pov

We stayed at Meredy's place for a while to wait for Juvia and the others. The door swings open revealing Natsu.

"Sir, are you okay where are Gray and Juvia?" I asked.

"Don't worry about anything, we're fine" he replied and guided us outside the restaurant.

"Merci Meredy" (Thanks Meredy) he said as we exited the restaurant is it just me but he sounds so hot when speaks French.

We went to the rooftop of the hotel we stayed in, Gray and Juvia are already inside. Natsu entered first then the rest of us. Natsu's private jet started flying and tomorrow is a brand new day.
