SIMPLE MISUNDERSTANDINGS
I just got back from school and had a bit of a bad day, so I decided to upload a chapter. It's also really short — I might do a double upload if I have the time, although no one probably wants to see this crap. :P Hope you enjoy it, anyway!
Jaehee was running upstairs as Jumin followed her. "Assistant Kang! Wait!" He yelled. Jaehee wiped her eyes for the tears that kept falling. 'Why am I crying? Did he really say he wished I would kill myself? Why would that affect me? I'm so confused... I need fresh air. I'll just go up to the roof so I can cool down.' Jaehee, despite being in heels, was way faster then Jumin. She reached the roof and unlocked the door, walking out into the fresh air. The sky wasn't so grey like it had been earlier in the morning and had some blue poking out of the slightly dark clouds. Jaehee was just getting fresh air, but when Jumin reached the open door, he thought that Jaehee took Hannah's 'kill yourself' comment too seriously. "No! Don't do it!" Jumin yelled. He ran up to her and grabbed her from behind, holding her tightly. "I swear to god, don't you dare jump off this goddamn roof!" He yelled, feeling his vision go blurry. "What the–?!" Jaehee was surprised by the sudden hug. "Mr. Han, I–" "please! You're worth so much to so many people, including me! I would never forgive myself if my lack to say or do anything was the reason you wouldn't live to see another day!" Jumin said, holding Jaehee even tighter. She blushed. 'He... Really does care about me...' "Mr. Han, I wasn't going to jump, I needed some fresh air." Jaehee said, giving a small laugh and twirling around out of her bosses grasp.
"Uh... I... Oh." Jumin stuttered, unsure of what to say. 'This. Is. Not. Happening.' He thought, turning red. He nervously cleared his throat. "Look, I don't know how that happened, but I swear on Elizabeth the Third that nothing was going on between me and Hannah." Jaehee knew he was telling her the truth because Jumin doesn't swear on his cat unless it's something serious. She smiled. "You... Actually care about me..." Jaehee said, staring happily at the ground. "Well, I thought you were going to kill yourself, that would look bad for the company..." Jumin said. 'No. No that's wrong. Why'd I say that?! Why was I even scared that I thought she was going to jump?! She's my Assistant... This feels so wrong. What is this feeling?' Jumin thought to himself. Jaehee's face fell. "Oh... Yeah... Good point." "Look, I'm sorry you had to see that but just know that nothing's happening between me and Hannah." Jumin stated once again. "I know, Mr. Han, I believe you." Jaehee said, smiling at him. He pulled her in for another hug. "God... I actually thought you were going to..." Jumin sighed and trailed off, lying his chin on her head. Jaehee turned red and hid her face in her boss's chest. "I'm not, Mr. Han. I promise." She said. 'Why is my face so red?! Why is my heart beating so fast?! What the hell is happening?! Am I sick?!' All sorts of thoughts were rushing through her head as she pulled her arms around her boss. "I'm not going to do something like that, Mr, Han. I'm also... Afraid of heights..." She blushed even deeper. 'Damnit. You had to say that, didn't you Jaehee?!' She argued with herself. Jumin chuckled. 'She's afraid of heights? Ha, that's so...' "Cute." Jumin finished his thoughts out loud. Jaehee looked up at him. "W-What did you say sir?" She asked him, not sure if she had heard him right. "I-I said cold! It's cold out here and we should g-go in. Yes." Jumin stuttered. Jaehee just smiled. "Okay. I need to pick up my papers, they're all over your office." She said. Jumin gave Jaehee a small smirk. "Did you number them or have a way for them to be in order?" Jaehee's eyes widened. "Noooooooo...." She groaned and let go of her boss. Jumin chucked. "Come on, you have a lot of work to do." "I knoooooow..." She groaned as a response. Her and Jumin made their way downstairs to Jumin's office where Jaehee began the long task of figuring out how to put her papers back in order.
Wow, I should just stop... Grr this is so cringy! I rewrote this like, 4 times and it's still just as bad as the others, but I'm waaay too lazy to rewrite it again. Hope you enjoyed this one, since the others were also shit. ~TheWeeWeeaboo
