Chapter 40:

With my fingernails still digging into Cameron's dick, I pulled back my free hand to slap the shit out of his dishonest face. I hit him three more times before the shock wore off and he started coming to his senses.

"Jess, what the hell?" He rubbed the spot I had drilled as the blood came rushing to the surface of his skin. His cheek had a beautifully crafted image of my handprint.

I swung again and he caught my wrist. Cameron backed me up against the cold tile wall as he fought to pry my other hand from around his length. He pinched my wrist between his thumb and index finger so hard that I cried out from the pain. No matter how hard I fought him, I couldn't hold on any longer. He sucked in a sharp, relieved breath when he was finally able to free himself from my grasp.

"You are a bastard. Do you know that? A lying, cheating fucking bastard." I screamed in his face and pounded his chest with my fists.

"What did I do?" He leaned against me and cupped my face in his large hands, trying to get me to focus on his eyes. He was pretending like he didn't understand what was going on. He was a good actor. I had been fooled by him before. He wasn't going to get to pull the wool over my eyes twice.

"Why her?" I shouted as I pushed at his chest again. It sent him off balance and he caught himself just in time before he fell backwards over the edge of the tub.

"Her who? Jessa, I don't even know what we are talking about." He stood back up and pulled me in like he was trying to comfort me.

"Kelly, you know, the slut you have been fucking instead of me."

"Did you not take your meds tonight, darling?" He asked, placing his mouth against the top of my head as he held me tightly against his warm body.

"Don't pin this one on me, Cameron Nash. Don't make me the bad guy because you can't keep your dick in your pants!" My body was violently shaking as I wriggled out of his grasp.

I pushed past him and climbed out of the shower. Water was dripping on the floor, which left a trail of wet footprints on the carpet in my room. He followed me out of the shower and was stalking behind me angrily.

"I'm not sleeping with anyone else. You're paranoid. Why would you even think that?" He spun me around by my arm to face him.

"For being an intelligent guy, you are a fucking blockhead. Did you really think she wouldn't tell me?" I blurted out before I could stop myself.

Shit, I didn't want to get Gabby involved in this any more than she already was. She did me a favor by telling me, I at least owed it to her to keep her name out of it so it didn't make things uncomfortable between her and Ron. I didn't want my drama to ruin her relationship too.

"Who said that I was sleeping with Kelly?"

"That's need to know information."

"Well, you and this mystery informant need to go check your facts. You are insane, Jessa. You need to get help."

My pulse started racing and everything in my sight began to swirl together into a hazy blur. His words tore against my flesh like a bullwhip. I could hear it cracking in the air as he etched them into my body.

"You are insane. You need help." His words replayed over and over again.

He never loved me. He has been playing me this whole time.

Bad Jessa wanted out and I gave into her willingly. I stepped up to Cameron and dug my finger into his wet chest. There was no way I would be able to stop her now. If he wanted to swing low, she could go even lower.

"Once again, you are so right, Cami. I'm just crazy Jessa Miller and you are perfect Cameron Nash, the boy who can do no wrong. You are a fucking wolf in sheep's clothing. You are a thousand times worse than Nathan ever was."

"Don't you ever compare me to that jackass again." Cameron stepped back into me, trying to intimidate me into backing down.

Cameron's dominant stance would have made men twice my size cower in fear, but it wasn't going to work on me. It only pushed me further.

"It's true. At least Nathan didn't lie to me and tell me he loved me. He was at least man enough to tell me he was using me to my face." Cameron's fists were in a ball. He was struggling against the urge he had to hit me. If I wasn't a female, he would have already had me on the ground, making me regret challenging him.

"I'm not lying to you. I do love you. I haven't even had the time to look at another girl. I have been too busy chasing your crazy ass around town while you screwed anything that had a pulse." He growled through gritted teeth.

"You sure do know how to throw things back in my face. Thanks for that, Cami, because I already didn't feel bad enough about what I've done. You got anything else you want to say? Now's your chance. Don't hold back for my sake. Please call me a crazy whore a few more times, so I remember my place." My lip quivered as I fought back the urge to cry.

"Oh no, Jess. I didn't mean it like that." His face fell. He tried to wrap himself around me, but I pushed him away before he could pull me in.

"Come on, Cameron. I have a little bit of self-esteem left. Hurry up and take it with you. Here, I'll just go pack it in your bag. It will be easier for you to carry that way. You should give it to that skank, Kelly. She'll love it. Do you want me to tie a ribbon around it for you? I can get her a little congratulations card too. I hope you two will be happy together."

"I'm not sleeping with her or anyone else, Jessa. You are it for me. It's only ever been you. Why don't you believe me?" He let out a heavy sigh like he was frustrated.

"I still don't trust you," I whispered.

Cameron's body deflated and just looked worn down. His eyes were starting to glaze over with the tears he was holding back. Out of everything I had done or said to him tonight, my inability to move past what he did when he committed me hurt him more than anything else I could dream up. I succeeded and got my revenge, but it didn't provide me any peace. If anything, hurting him back made me feel even like a horrible person.

He was staring at me silently with the corners of his mouth pulled down in a hard line. I wished someone would come barreling through my door to rescue me. I knew both my dad and Jax were home; they had been home for hours. My dad would have been up here the moment he heard raised voices under normal circumstances. Am I that far gone that he doesn't even care about protecting me anymore?

I walked over to my drawer to grab some clothes out and slipped them on. Cameron went to his bag to do the same thing. We both avoided even looking at each other for the next few minutes while we got dressed.

Cameron grabbed his shoes and began sliding them over his feet. He snatched his bag off my dresser and walked over to stand in front of me. His gray eyes were dark and full of anger and grief.

"What are you doing?" My mouth was hanging open as I watched him.

"I'm going to leave now. Call me when you remember who I am." He said in a flat, controlled voice.

Cameron walked out of the door and down the hall. Even though we were fighting and I was furious with him, I never expected him to leave like that. He was already down at the bottom of the steps when my stupid ass started chasing behind him. He didn't just get to walk away from me. He may have been done with this conversation, but I wasn't even close.

"Where are you going, Cameron? Are you leaving me so you can go fuck her again? Tell the bitch your girlfriend says hello." I screamed at him.

"You are absolutely delusional," Cam said in a calm voice without even turning around to look at me.

"I hope the skank gives you leprosy and they have to amputate your dick." I shrieked as I hit the wall with my hand, wishing it was his face.

When I got to the bottom of the stairs, he had thrown the door open and stormed out. He was walking quickly across the grass to where his truck was parked.

"Ask her if she enjoys seeing my name tattooed on your skin every time she puts your cock in her mouth!" I screamed out the front door. He didn't even look back once. He had no remorse for what he did. Cameron didn't care about me.

I started to take off to chase him out the door. I was going to go hit him again.

"Grab Jessa. I'll go get Cameron."  My dad's authoritative voice instructed someone behind me. I didn't even realize there was anyone else in the room with me. The only thing in my tunnel vision was the man who just walked out on me.

"Don't hurt him." Uncle Aiden said as he wrapped his arms around me and began pulling me to the living room towards the couch.

"Not planning on it," Dad responded in a much too calm tone as he jogged out the door.
