Arina's POV

Ring ring..

I wake up to the sound of the morning alarm blaring next to my head on the night stand. I try to stand up but feel heavy wait on me, i check to fine Adam's arm wrapped around my waist.

I slowly remove his arm and get up proceeding towards the closet in our cabin suite.

Taking my outfit for the day i excitedly walk into the bathroom without being my usual lazy self.

I freak out seeing my messed up hijab and then chuckle at the state of my hair and hijab.

After a quick shower, I walk out to see Adam still asleep so I go to wake him up.

He is everything but a morning person.

After waking him up, I remove the towel that is wrapped around my head and blow dry my hair and wrap my hijab.

I do not bother with anything else as it is too early.

When Adam is done with his wudu, we both pray tahhajud prayers together and then recite Quran till fajr time.

When the adhan is done on my phone, Me and Adam once again proceed towards our prayer mats to perform the fajr prayers and recite Surah Yaseen.

Adam decides to sleep as it is still early morning whereas I take out one of my favorite book "The Ideal Muslimah" which is about how to behave as a Muslim female and the responsibilities etc.

Taking the book, I stroll towards the balcony which overlooks the fresh blue clear water and the land of Italy can be seen.

We will reach Rome in few hours.

 I take a seat on one of the chairs and start reading the book.

After few hours Adam joins me in the balcony and we sit there for a while looking at the beautiful view in front of us.

We then get ready, well as I had already changed into my outfit so I just apply light make up on and wear my sneakers.

After that, We walk out and meet the others before going to the halal restaurant for breakfast.

While we are having our breakfast, the ship reaches the excursion.

Quickly finishing the breakfast, we go to grab our bags and exit the ship once we are able to.

Rome, WE ARE HERE!

Adam's POV

We are finally in Rome. Our third excursion point. It is not new to me because I come to Italy a lot due to my business here.

After we go through the security, we hire a cab and obviously our first stop is the famous attraction point of Rome, Colloseum.

Just as we reach there, The excited ladies jump out of the cab and run towards the place whilst me and Alex follow behind.

After checking out that place, Which honestly is one of the favourites in this country. We walk around the area checking out the nearby  places and attractions.

Our next stop is the Pantheon which is the best preserved Roman antiquity. I never got a chance to visit this place amidst of all the meetings and conferences so even after seeing it for the first time, I can say I would love to come here again.

While we were walking along the mesmerising famous fountains of Rome, Alex gets a call.

"Adam, Its your secretary!" Alex informs

"Why did she not call on my phone?" I ask and he just shrugs

I take the phone from Alex and answer it.

"Hello, Mr. Edwards!"

"Its Mr. Zeewad"

"Good Morning, Sir"

"Its Good Afternoon here! Reason for the call?"

"Sorry Sir! Actually I called to inform you that there is a boards meeting that you need to attend in Houston on Wednesday"

"Miss. Rose you do know that I am on holiday with family right now and I have already said not to disturb me"

"Yes sir, I tried explaining it to the members and planned to send someone else but they specifically said you have to be present."

"Its Tuesday today dammit"

What the hell! Everyone knows where I am yet they decided this meeting!

"Okay fine I will be there by tonight and we will leave  early morning!"

I inform and disconnect the call.

"What's wrong?" Alex Questions

"The board members decided to host a flipping meeting tomorrow knowing that I am away and they specifically wants me to attend" I fill him in with the information

"Wow you said flipping instead of-"

"Is that all you heard?"

"No no i did hear the rest and we need to inform the ladies"

"Yeah let's go"

"Wait, Can we please have lunch before  we proceed further?"

I roll my eyes at him.

Since when did I start this?!

Of course Arina effect.

I say alright and we both walk to the ladies.

Arina's POV

I love Rome!

Masha Allah! The entire city is so lively and beautiful!

While me and Alina are walking around the fountains I notice the men fall behind.

I look back to find them talking and then walk towards us.

"Where were you guys? I am so hungry!"

"We have to tell you something!" Adam says

"Can we please eat something first bhai?" Alina insists

"Okay fine! Let's to that restaurant." Adam replies while pointing at the restaurant across the road from us.

I quirk my eye brow at him but he shakes his head and gives me a small smile.

I dismiss it for a while and walk to the restaurant.

We enter the luxurious restaurant and take our seats at a table for four.

We order our dishes and less than the time expected, our food is ready.

We quietly devour over the delicious food everyone in their own world and Alina busy taking snaps of the food.

Once we are done with our food, we wait for our desert.

"Umm..Guys? Adam wants to tell you something" Alex says

"Yeah..Well, we have to cut out trip short."

"Whyy??" Alina asks in a sad tone

"I have a meeting to attend and i don't have a choice. I have to be there as I might lose a lot of deals and that will be a great loss to our company."

Oh No! As much as I want to stay back and enjoy the trip, I do not want Adam's business to suffer any loss as it is always hard to overcome loss.

"Well If you want you two can stay back and continue whereas me and Alex will go back home." Adam suggests

I look over to Alina and realise that even she does not want to stay without them.

"No, we will go with you." I reply

"Are you sure?"

"100%"

"Okay cool! Let's finish the deserts and then we will go to get our bags from the cruise." Adam informs

"The jet is ready at the private airport." Alex tells as he comes back from the call he excused himself for

"Great! Let's make a move."

We all walk out of the restaurant after paying the bill and hire a cab to the sea port.

While on the drive, i call home to inform them all that we will be arriving home today and tell them the reason.

Soon we reach our destination and jump out of the car. We proceed towards our terminal and our cruise after informing the staff and captain.

Grabbing our bag we say goodbye to the cruise and glance at the enormous ship in front of us floating on the water and enter the cab. Adam directs the driver to the private airport.

After 40 minutes, we reach the airport and in 20 minutes w are in the plane.

Arrival in New York City.

Home Sweet Home.

No matter how much fun I had, I still missed the air and feeling of the city I was born and raised in.

Alhumdullilah to be back home safely.

We have an SUV waiting for us near the exit to take us straight to the family home where my parents and Adam's mum are waiting for us.

We climb the vehicle and proceed towards the mansion.

Soon we reach our house and greet everyone.

The mothers obviously hugs us for longer.

We all walk in and spend the evening with the family showing them their presents and souvineirs.

We pray our prayers together in the prayer room. Later Dad leaves as he have to attend a meeting and we stay for dinner.

Alex had gone straight to his apartment to meet his cat as he missed her.

After dinner, mama leaves too and we pray Isha before saying our goodbyes to mom and Alina.

During the drive home me and Adam have a small talk.

"Hey Arina!"

"Yeah?"

"We have to fly over to LA on Friday along with Mom and Alina"

"What for?"

"An award show that I am nominated in a category for."

"Really?! Masha Allah! What's the category?"

"Best young Business man of the year"

"Masha Allah Masha Allah! That's so great! I'm so proud of you" I squeal excited, happiness lacing from my voice

He mumbles a small thank you and smiles his beautiful smile.

The rest of the car ride is quiet with comfortable silence.

Soon we enter our building's car park and park our car before taking the Elevator to our apartment.

Once we are there, I say Salaam loudly to no one and walk to the room while Adam gets our bags.

After taking a warm shower as the weather have gone colder in New York.

Adam also does the same before we climb into the bed and call it a night.
