Adam's POV

I slam the laptop shut and lean back on my Office chair. I've been working on a project for the past 8 hours continuously.

Alhumdullilah it's finally finished!

I close my eyes and brush my hair back to take some rest but am disturbed by a door knock.

"Yes?"

The door opens and my assistant walks with some brochures in her hand.

"What are these for?"

"They just got delivered at the reception so we thought you might want to check them out." She replies nervously

"Ok! I'll check them out later. You may leave now!"

"Oh..k Sir" She says placing the brochures on the office desk and leaves

I glance at the brochures but a certain one catches my attention.

I pick it up to get a proper look at it and the heading gets me interested. It is about different kind of holidays and destinations.

I need Holiday after all these projects I've recently had to deal with, and its been long since I went on a relaxing holiday. The last time we went on a proper holiday was 4 months ago when Me, Arina, Alina and the boys went to Florida.

That just reminds me! Mum wanted me and Arina to go on our so called "honeymoon" so this can be a good idea if I take Arina with me and do the honeymoon act.

I start to turn my laptop on to search about this cruise holiday when the door opens yet again and this time my useless friend Alex strolls in and jumps on the small relaxation couch opposite to my sitting area.

I roll my eyes at his childish behavior and he completely ignores me.

"Hi Alex"

No response

"Alex"

Still No response

"ALEX"

Again! NO RESPONSE!

"Alright then! You keep up with your wife like attitude and I'll book  my holiday" I say with a light shrug and login in to my laptop

"HOLIDAY?!"

"Hmm..Yea Holiday"

"You are going on a holiday without me?" He says in a fake hurt dramatic tone

"I don't need to take you everywhere with me" I say bluntly just to annoy him

"I see how it is, Adam. I see how it is!"

"Oh stop being such a drama queen"

"First: I am NOT a woman so I'm not a queen and Second: I am going with you" Alex says in authoritative tone as if ordering or commanding me making me laugh

"Don't laugh! I am serious!"

When I think about it, I find it a not so bad idea for letting Alex come with us as it is going to decrease the awkwardness that is guaranteed to come if me and Arina go alone on holiday.

I know, I know we should be going alone but its no harm to take a friend and have more fun and its not like its a real honeymoon anyways.

"OK fine! You are going with us"

"Good! But where are we going?"

"Not decided yet"

"Wow"

"But Ms. Lisa got me some of the brochures that were delivered to the reception from a travel agency for some reason so I decided to just check them out but you came"

"What are we waiting for then? Let's check them out and plan our holiday!!"

For the next 45 minutes we were deciding and fighting over where to go for our holiday.

"Wait I got an idea!" I say loudly

"What?" Alex responds

"You see that brochure! It says cruise Holiday which I think is a great idea and its fall so its a pretty good season to go on a cruise holiday"

"Yeah, I like it!" Alex says excitedly

For some time we go through all the routes and dock destinations of the cruises and settle with the Mediterranean Cruise and the cruise ship we choose is Celebrity Eclipse and it is a 7 night aboard trip.

"Done! That's the one we are going in!" I say

"Yeah I like that one too! I'm so excited"

"We have to get ready because the flight to Ireland is day after tomorrow so we only have tomorrow to get everything done!"

"I have to go shopping" Alex cries

"Such a girl you are"

He just makes a face at me "Real mature"

"I need to call Arina and tell her!"

"She doesn't know!?"

"Ah..No?" Alex shakes his head 

"Wait! That's actually amazing"

"How's that amazing?" I look at him dumbfounded

"Well imagine your self being a great husband and think of it as a surprise for Arina"

"What do you mean "imagine"?" 

"Nothing! Nothing at all" Alex loves to wave things off

"Anyways! We need to get to the meeting"

"What about calling Arina?"

"Will do that later! Getting late for the meeting now."

Just as I say that my assistant I forgot her name again walks informing us that the delegates have already arrived.

Me and Alex stroll into the meeting room together.

"Good afternoon gentlemen" We both greet them as we walk in and they all reply simultaneously

We start our meeting and thankfully it goes smoothly and as usual we get the deal.

Satisfied we say our goodbyes to the clients and walk out.

Before I start driving home, I plan to call Arina to ask where she is as she likes going to Zeewad mansion on Fridays.

I go into my contacts and dial her number to call her.

She picks up the call on the third ring,

"Asalam Alikum" 

"Waalikum asalam, Arina its me Adam"

"I know its you! I have your number saved ya know" I can imagine her rolling eyes here

"Ok Ok!"

"What's the reason for the call? Were you missing me?"

"You wish! I don't have free time to waste"

"Stop denying Mr. Adam"

"Shut up Arina! I called you to ask where you are right now? I need to tell you something"

"I'm at mum's"

"Ok! I'll join you there in a bit and we'll leave for home together after dinner than."

"Wow Mr. Adam Zeewad  coming home before maghreb! Must be an important news than."

"Ok I gotta go now! see ya in few." I say before cutting the call

I get into my Zenvo St1 and zoom off to the mansion. I actually really need to go there because I've been so busy with the meetings that I didn't get to meet mom for more than a whole week now. I usually go to meet her twice a week before going to work.

I reach there in 30 minutes and park my car in my old garage before entering the house. I see mom reading a book while Arina and Alina both watching something on the TV.

Arina's POV

I got a call from Adam asking me where I am as he wanted to tell me something important. I got worried as to what it could be but hearing his happy tone relaxed my inner self.

I can't wait to hear what he have to say!

Right now I'm at the Zeewad mansion watching some movies with Alina and mom is sitting reading a book.

I come here every Friday afternoon after class and spend the whole day with mom and Alina as she also have only one class on Fridays. We spend the whole day together doing one thing and another and I spend the Saturdays every two weeks with my parents.

I miss my gorilla brother Zaid so much. He is in Ann Arbor as he got into Stephen M. Ross School of Business in the University of Michigan to study Business. I am so happy for him and its been 2 months that he moved there but I  miss him a lot. 

Anyways! I hear the door slam shut and see Adam entering the house.

"Salaam!"

"Waalikum Asalam" We all reply to him.

He goes to hug mom and then hug Alina before sitting next to mom inquiring about her health. What I love about Adam is his love and care for his family. 

"I'm really hungry! Can we have the dinner please?"

"There's like five minutes left till maghreb so I guess we should pray till then the chef will prepare and serve the food on the table." Mom suggests and we all agree

We all go to make wudu for prayers. Mom goes to her room and Alina to hers whereas me and Adam proceed towards our room.

As we enter Adam walks towards the vanity to take his watch off and then the walk in closet. We have some of our cloths and other necessities here a we come here quite often.

I walk after Adam.

"Umm...Adam"

"Yeah?"

"You were gonna tell me something!"

"I know"

"Then say it?"

"Later! At the dining table"

"Ohk fine" I sigh defeated

We take turns in performing wudu before exiting the room and proceeding towards the prayer room. We pray together with Adam in the lead. Masha Allah his voice is just so beautiful and soothing. It put me in tears every time I hear him recite Surah Rahman as that's my favourite Surah.

Once we are done with prayers, we all walk to the dining room together and take our respective seats.

"Adam! You were going to give us some news?" Mom asks Adam

Finally

"Oh yeah! Mom you wanted me and Arina to go on holiday right?" Making me stare at both of them confused

"YEAH!! But Honeymoon sounds better" she says making Adam roll his eyes and me blush

"Whatever! Anyways! I've decided something" My head turns straight to look at Adam

"OMG!! FINALLY!!" Alina screams excitedly 

"Where are you both going?" Mom inquires

"We are going to Barcelona, Spain and from there we are going to embark on a Mediterranean cruise and we have quite a few of excursions so we can visit some of the cities."

"Where are the excursions?" I ask

"That's a surprise"

"THAT'S AMAZING!!!" Alina screams hearing all this 

I myself am very surprised and super excited.

"Masha Allah that is an astonishing idea!" Mom says happily

"Thanks! Me and Alex decided this today in the afternoon and he's going with us too." Adam replies

"WHAT?! WHY?!"  Alina once again shouts

This girl is such a hyper girl. Wallahi

"Alina shut up! If you keep on screaming I'm gonna be deaf in few minutes"

"But why is Alex going to accompany you both on your honeymoon?"

"He's not going to be stuck to us 24/7 now is it?"

"I want to go too then!" Arina whines

"No way!" Adam says

"WHYYYY?!"

"Because its their own holiday." Mum tries to explain

"Then why is Alex going?" She asks

I think about it and come to a conclusion.

"I think Alina should go with us" I speak up for the first time since the discussion started and everyone keeps quite

"Bhabi is the best!"

I decided this because Adam will have his friend with him so I need someone with me too.

"The flight to Spain is on Sunday so you only have tomorrow to get ready"

"Oh no! We have so much to do tomorrow!"

"Aline its only one week trip"

"So what me and Arina are girls!" she replies making us laugh

"Ok kids the dinner is getting cold so let's start eating it before it gets cold." Mom orders

We have our dinner in peace after that and then sit together as a family spending some family time till Isha.

After praying Isha, me and Adam say our goodbyes and set off to our home. 

The next whole day is spent in preparation for the trip and shopping the needed things etc.

The night before our departure, I couldn't sleep much because of the excitement.

I can't wait for the trip.

May Allah make this holiday a blessing for us and May he gives us more happiness and success in our lives. May Allah guide us all to sirat ul Mustaqeem. Ameen

Sorry for the late update! I was busy with my ICT practicals. Finally they are over. ALhumdullilah!

So here's an  update! and stay tuned because there will be some exciting stuff happening in their holiday insha Allah!
