Arina's POV

Just as I start to walk out, Adam grabs my hand. I turn around expecting him to blow up at me but he only smirks and says " you forgot the juice glass and phone" while pointing at the table

I look down embarrassed and take my belongings before striding out of the room and enters Alina's room where she's waiting for me.

"What took you so long in Bhai's room?" Alina Asks with a mischievous smile and winks. It takes me few seconds to register what she meant causing me to blush. She chuckles and winks and i throw the pillow at her face in response.

Wait! Why did I blush?! OH My Allah! Get a grip Ms. Arina, What wrong with You?

We stay there for an hour taking about anything and everything which includes Alina teasing me before we are called downstairs for lunch. We climb down and enter the enormous Dining Hall to see everyone already seated except Adam and us. Me and Alina proceed towards the table and find a place and take a seat. We are all engrossed in savouring over the delicious food which were so many dishes of number of varieties almost like a grand feast. 

I hear footsteps and look up to see Adam entering the hall. He comes and take the only seat left on the table which unfortunately happens to be the one across me. I just keep looking down and finish my food not glancing at Adam even once. 

Hey! don't think I'm shy or anything, I just dislike him and don't wanna look at him.

Alina also finish the mouth-watering food and we both go to the living room and wait for the others to come while talking about our studies. After a while they all come and seat themselves in the lush comfortable couches.

"Arina! Beta come here and sit next to me" Mrs. Zeewad says and smiles. I really love this woman for her kind and tenderhearted nature and not to forget her great Iman.

I go and take a seat next to her and she pats my head lovingly.

Dad clears his throat and everyone's attention is than diverted to him.

"I think we should decide the dates now" he says with a small smiling forming on his lips

"Yes! Yes! The dates!!" Alina starts squealing like a little kid who gets his favorite toy on Eid and is shushed by her mom.

I don't even know why she's so excited no over excited about this wedding.

" I think we should do the engagement and Nikkah together after 3 weeks" mama suggests

"Isn't that a bit late? I'm sure the bride and groom wants it all to happen soon"  Zaid says with a smirk directed to me and the beast making everyone laugh and me glare at him

"I think 3 weeks is perfect time to get everything ready for the nikkah and engagement ceremony" Mrs. Zeewad says smiling showing her perfect white teeth

" yeah and we can have the ruksati( when the bride moves to the groom's house) after 3 months when Arina's last semester of university ends so that she is not distracted from studies because of all the functions"  mama adds

"OK then done! Nikkah after 3 weeks and ruksati after 3 months" dad announces and everyone murmurs Insha Allah, Of Course except Adam

We stay there till dinner as insisted by Mrs. Zeewad before we talk our leave and return home. Exhausted from the day I don't waste a second in running to my room and taking a quick warm shower which I was in a desperate need of. I change into one of my most comfortable PJ's after doing my normal night routine and put on my abaya to pray Isha.

Once I'm done I retire off to bed and enter my dream world which will be fulfilled my Allah in this world or in the hereafter.

Adam's POV

Argh today was more exhausting and annoying than the days I have 10 meetings.

Just as the guests leave I excuse my self and climb up to my room. I quickly change and turn on my laptop. I have to make a presentation for the F*cking meeting tomorrow morning. Normally my assistant would make the presentation but as I fired her yesterday and still haven't got a new one yet so have to make it myself.

Now I'm damn sure you wanna know the reason why I fired that piece of s*hit. Well, here it it. First thing, She was wearing a bright colour dress and I loathe bright colours and second thing, all she used to do was try to show as much of  her cleavage as she could by wearing low cut tops!

Disgusting good for nothing b*tch!

(A/N sorry for the colorfull words there, that's just how Adam is)

Anyways I stop thinking about useless stuff and start working on the presentation.

I don't know why but the date of this engagement drama being set just 3 weeks away made me hella angry!

I.DON'T.WANT.TO.GET.MARRIED!

Why can't anyone understand this simple sentence? I know I know I agreed for the deal but still three weeks for the nikkah is just too early!

I stop this inner battle within myself after sometime and focus on the work. Soon i get tired and bored so I shut down my laptop and finally drift off to sleep.

One week Later

"WHAT?!?!?" I exclaim

"Yes!" Alex replies

"How come? He was one of our most trusted employee?" 

"No idea bro! but I think we need to go to Venice to sort this matter out now" 

One of the manager in our company which both me and Alex are Co-owners of in Italy betrayed us by taking the money we got from the last project and fled well tried to but was caught by the security so he is under arrest now. Me and Alex have to go to solve this matter now.

"Ok you do all the bookings and stuff , inform one of the staff members about our arrival and lets go then"

Few hours later, We are sitting in our jet on our way to the "City of Water".

Arina's POV

These past week and a half have been going good with me going shopping with Alina, Maya and Amina.

YESS! they finally returned from there holiday! 

But as the nikkah date is getting closer my anxiety is increasing more and more. I've never been this nervous my whole life and on top of that I'm extremely annoyed but at the same time I want this marriage to happen so that I can get Adam back on the right track.

Right now I'm  leisurely strolling around the neighborhood enjoying the light breeze and the beautiful weather when suddenly I see a a car with black tinted windows speeding my way and in a matter of few seconds I see my self getting closer and closer to the dear ground which is waiting for me to kiss it. 

I feel dizzy but I see a blurry image of some hooded men coming out and dragging me to the car and that's when I lose the consciousness and am welcomed by the darkness.

Few Hours Later

I slowly open my eyes to see myself in an old warehouse and that's when I get to know that I'm kidnapped.

Just the mere thought of being kidnapped makes me shudder.

I rub my eyes to get a clear vision and that's when I notice a male figuring proceeding towards me.

I get shocked by seeing the face of the figure who turns out to be non other than...

Sorry peeps but this the most important school year for me as I'm gonna have my final GCSEs exams this year! Yep! GCSE or British schools students ya what I'm talkin bout *cries*
