I shut my laptop and got up then went downstairs to find my mom. I found her in the kitchen cooking dinner. "Hey mom," I said sweetly. She set the knife down on the cutting board next to the veal steaks and looked over at me. "Can I go to Lola and Genny's party tonight pretty please,"I asked kindly. She turned back around and continued to trim the meat then bluntly told me, "No, you are to stay in this house so then I know where you are."

"But mom I won't let them see my other side I promise and their dad's a cop so you know it'll be safe," I begged.

"I said no and i don't care even if there is a police officer there I will not allow you to go to that party," she started to raise her voice at me causing my eye turned red.

"I'm 17, I'm old enough to drive, I've done what you asked for 17 and a half years you would think my mother would trust me enough to allow me to go to a party but no," I yelled then ran upstairs to my room and opened it. I jumped from the windowsill, before I hit the ground I transformed and took off into the evening sky. God why is my mom so controlling it's not fair. As I was flying I spotted a vole munching on a plant. Awesome another free meal for Freddy. Swooping down I grabs the vole in my claws and took off back into the sky. I landed on a branch and transformed back to my human form. A jayhawk hopped out of a hole in the tree and took up the vole then started to eat it. "That's a good boy Freddy," I cooed. I reached over and pulled a bag out of the tree then took out a freeze dried meal and ate it.
