It was wedding day for The Marauders as James was finally marrying Lily Evans, he had fallen for her ever since that very first day on the train and now they were going to the altar, both of their parents were amongst the guests, Lily's sister and her husband had refused to come to the wedding for some reason.

Sirius was officiating the wedding.

"We are gathered here to celebrate the union of James Fleamont Potter and Lily Marie Evans, in holy matrimony, these two souls while not obvious at first were always meant for each other, and while it took time for both of them to shed their walls and layers at the end they found each other. Countless times James asked Lily to go out with him but she defiantly said no, but even if it took 5 years and a lot of mistakes James understood that he had to win her friendship before winning her heart, and she finally said yes, and after that day they couldn't be apart anymore until to day when they promise to never let go, and give their next step in their relationship." Sirius said.

"James, when I first met you I never thought in a million years that I would find myself here, about to promise myself to you for the rest of my life, but life works in unexpected ways, the boy I once hated more than anyone else in the world, turned out to be the boy I love more than anything else in the world, you showed me that I could see the world with an open heart and hope, antything can happen as long as I am with you" Lily said with her voice starting to tremble and her eyes watering.

"Lily from the moment I saw you on the train I knew you were a pretty special girl, and every passing year you proved what an amazing witch you are but I couldn't see that I wasn't the amazing wizard worthy of someone like you, but I didn't give up, I made everything I could to become that wizard, and to show you how to live on the wildside with me" James said.

"Now it is my greatest pleasure to declare you husband and wife " Sirius said as James and Lily kissed for about 20 seconds.

Everyone in the room clapped and cheered for the newly weds.

"Well that was a good speech" Diana said.

"You think so? because I checked it like 20 times or more" Sirius said.

"I mean it" Diana said.

"I can't believe my best friend is getting married, they are going on a honeymoon you know, a little trip to get away from all the crazy stuff that's happening" Sirius said.

"Where are they going?" Remus asked

"I think they said they are going to Spain" Sirius answered.

"So what are you going to do?" Diana said.

"What do you mean?" Sirius asked

"well your best friend is leaving for some time and that leaves a lot of free time to you" Diana said.

"your best friend is leaving too" Sirius said.

"I have a job" Diana said.

"that takes place during night time" Sirius answered

"I also do research constantly" Diana answered

"On a project no one believes in, maybe except for me" Sirius said.

Diana turned red

2 months later

Sirius was in his house cleaning his motorcycle while listening to some muggle rock music when James and Lily came in, Sirius had spent his time working for the order and just enjoying life, going around probably doing a couple of pranks, but now his friend was back.

"Hey Padfoot did you miss us?" James said.

" Of course, I needed a partner in my motorcycle rides, I took Tonks with me in the extra compartment, and some times Diana when she wasn't busy but it just wasn't the same as good old Prongs" Sirius said.

"I'm so sorry to take him away from you" Lily said.

"I hope you had a good time" Sirius said.

"We did, we even encountered Maca, Tonks's godmother, from South America, she was fun" James said.

"But I thought you would have wanted to be on your own, you know it was your honeymoon" Sirius said.

"Oh we had plenty of time for ourselves, but Maca was helpful specially with the language, there is only so much a translator spell can help you" Lily said.

"yes we had our private fun actually we have news, don't we Lily?" James said.

"We have big news" Lily said.

"Oh Merlin, you're pregnant " Sirius said.

"yes we found out on the trip, luckily for us Maca was also pregnant, she had married Icterus Swan and they were on Spain for a diplomatic job or something, she was helpful to Lily after we found out" James said.

"Is she going to be the godmother of your child too?" Sirius asked.

"No, we were thinking Diana could be the godmother and you could be the godfather, if you want to of course" James replied.

"I would love to and I'm sure Diana would be glad to be the godmother of your child, what are you planing in the name department?" Sirius inquired.

"if it's a girl, she'll be Charlotte Petunia Potter, if it's a boy he'll be Harry James Potter" Lily answered.

" those are fantastic names, specially since your parents are sick with Dragon Pox right now" Sirius said.

"We told them the news as soon as we got back but, they told us that they might not make it to meet him or her" James said.

"and my parents are falling ill too, it will be so sad that he or she won't get to meet his grandparents" Lily said.

"It's ok, he'll have you as amazing parents and me as an amazing godfather, and Diana too, he'll be a very lucky kid" Sirius said.
