Chapter 2
"Just go, nothing is going to happen to you. You'll be fine," Becca snickered.
"B-but that house is o-old and sc-scary..." Jonathan whimpered, knees shaking in the September breeze. Becca and her entourage giggled at him, rolling their eyes.
"Well," Becca studied her nails, thinking. "I guess I have to tell mom about what you did to her favorite vase,"
"No! No please don't tell mommy! She'll be mad at me!" Jonathan begged, tears sprouting on his eyes.
"Then GO!" Becca sneered, pointing at the abandoned cottage, it's sagging roof almost caving in. Jonathan looked into the soulless windows and turned to his sister, his eyes pleading for forgiveness. He gave up and started towards the house, looking back now and again. Jonathan's hand grasps the doorknob, looking back one last time hoping for something to save him. Becca waved for him to continue. Sadly, he trudged into the house, the darkness wrapping around him, never letting him go.
"Come on guys, lets go Johnny's and get a bite to eat, I'm starving," Becca said, ignoring her little brothers cries for help. She also didn't notice the crackling of the roof setting in.
