Klaus never left Gabbie alone and Kept bugging her with questions like how was she able to stay normal all those years despite her abilities.

Years passed and Gabbie got used to Klaus always appearing in her in her doorway or work place just to ask tips on how to calm the voices around him. It even looks like Klaus was the only living person Gabbie kept up with. When the news of the Reginald Hargreaves death came. Klaus immediately asked Gabbie to come over with him for a lot of recovery. Shortly after coming over, the woman instantly regretted her choice.

Gabbie never thought that the unspeakable things she was trying to avoid and run away from, will be found just right in the corners  of Hargreaves mansion.
