I'm sorry for not updating sooner, my school just won't leave me alone :(

Aelinae's POV

I waited for Juanita by my locker. I was dressed in a pale green sweater and a knife pleated skirt. Tomorrow was our annual Halloween sleepover- every year was always crazier than before. I got my books for class when I realized that this might be our last Halloween sleepover.

The thought left a strange feeling in my chest. It was a bit suffocating.

ouch

What was that? Before I could ponder on it, Juani came, surprisingly still been wearing Jordan's hoodie. Her glasses were almost falling off and she was carrying books.

"could you?" she asked motioning to her glasses, I pushed her glasses back to her nose.

"Thanks" she moved to my open locker and dumps all the books there before opening hers and replacing the books into her locker before turning to me and blurting out,

"Am I the only one that felt weird when KC told us her real name?" she rushes out.

Well you're definitely not the only one

I tried not to think about yesterday but I couldn't help it. It just made me see her differently, like she's a stranger. But-

like how is it even possible; your friends for how long and you don't even know their name.

"Your definitely not the only one" I replied making her visibly breathe.

"oh wow I thought- it's just weird you know" she says as we head for AP math's,

"Yeahhh" I say, making her stop to look at me knowingly.

"No Ellie, no" she warned me. ugh. she knows me too well.

"What?" I try to play it cool walking to class as she follows me.

"Stay out of it. No detective stunt" she says looking up at me firmly. Cute

but I prefer sherlock Ellie

"It's different this time... I just wanna know" Juanita has had her fair shares of my nosey self. She was always my trusty tech guy. The last time was when I heard Mrs. Greene; my chemistry teacher had Conjunctivitis. I had to make sure because she was my teacher and Conjunctivitis is not a good colour on me. So Juanita helped me hack her hospital files.

Beside, I was saving all of us,

we all took chemistry...

"Ellie, Mind. Your. Business. it's still the same Kc... she just has some things she wants to keep to herself" like her own freaking name. I roll my eyes at her, not saying anything as we continue heading to class.

She knows I'm still gonna do it

Sherlock Ellie cant' die.

"Hey mamas,"I turned to see Nicole heading to us. I remember the first time meeting her, she was so shy. She didn't even talk to us but now she's so open to us but still shy to everyone else.

She has such a shockingly strong personality.

She thought I was some stuck up rich girl and she thought Kc was a stud. That was the funniest day of my life. It took a lot of explaining. Kc had to sit her down and call Liam to prove to her. It was so awkward, Nicole kept showing her Pinterest pictures of studs and comparing it to Kc while just looking lost and she was still scared of her. Kc didn't even know what to say again.

That's true, Nicole hasn't met Liam yet.

She's not going to like him at all.

We tell her hey and head to class- she was also in AP maths. The teacher wasn't in class cause we were early but some guys were here. Kc was drawing on the board; I think it was a cartoon version of our teacher. I don't know why they're crocodiles and spiders though...

I head to my seat with Juani while Nicole goes back to Tobias who has his head buried on his desk, fast alseep. She leans down and bites his ear, making him shoot up holding his red ear.

Ouch, that looked painful

Sometimes I feel bad for Tobias,

but when that happens, I smack my head twice and remember it's Tobias I'm talking about.

"Why can't you just wake me up normally" he says angrily, eyes wide and awake still holding his ear,

"because, I love you" she says in a deep serious voice, narrowing her eyes at him like she was in an Italian romance film making me laugh along with Juanita.

Soon after the teacher comes in,

"em thank you Kc" he says hesitantly moving away slightly like she was some nuclear bomb. Wait! even our teachers call her Kc.

hmmm there's more to it,

"Your welcome sir" she smiles, signing the board before heading to her seat

Time for class.

"Are you sure your cool with this" Juani askes again for the hundredth time.

"They're basically raping the poor boy" Daevon says,

"even Mr. Jimoh is acting a bit to friendly" then Daelan

"nahh Jim Jim is way outta line" and finally Daemon

If this four don't comment on something then...

"He's fineeee ... I'm sure he likes the attention" kc answers laughing with Luka as if it was an inside joke.

Liam did not look like he liked the attention at all. We were at the cafeteria for lunch and that's when the prince decides to pop up from who knows where and well,

The crowd came.

Girls, guys, teachers, even the kitchen people came out to crowd him. Well Liam is somewhat famous. I don't watch soccer so I wouldn't know but I've heard he's been on TV a couple of times. We've been watching the scene for the past twenty minutes now.

Soon after, Liam comes back with Mr. Jimoh trailing behind him like some lost puppy,

"if you ever need anything-and I mean anything, you know where to find me" he say smiling widely pushing his scarce hair back before he turns to the guys, his face dropping, forming a scowl and giving the guys the opportunity to do what they do best,

"Mr. Jimmmm" Luka says knowingly,

"Jimmmyyyy" Daelan says spreading his arms for a hug,

"Jim Jimmm" Daevon says wiggles his eyebrows,

"Jimmy Jammm" Daemons says winking,

"What's gooodddd" Tobias slurrs while Jordan barely looks up.

Our principal hate and I mean hate the guys so much. Luka was always everywhere and never in class. Well,we all know the triplets, Tobias loses everything, and always ends up saying, "Sir, I woke up and poof, it was gone" and lastly, Jordan.

That was a funny day. We were all telling Jordan how he never helps anyone and basically, can leave a bunny to drown. We unfortunately had an assembly in school which we all had to attend that day and the next thing,

Jordan gets up and walks to the stage and straight to the laptop our principal was using. Then, he starts correcting the sentences and grammar, leaving everyone in shock.

Then, he pats our principal's back saying, "Your welcome"

The school couldn't even punish him cause technically he didn't do anything wrong.

Mr. Jimoh glares at them, pushing his glasses to his face before calmly speaking, "you don't need me to inform you of your detentions" before walking away, "That you'll have for the rest of your lives" he mutters making the girls burst into laughter.

"Shit! I have a date after school" Daevon says before running off to find our principal, " wait Jim jim, lets talk about this!"

imbecile.

After our laugh dies, I turn to Liam, " I see Jimmy has given you a booty call" making everyone laugh, mostly Luka and Kc.

But I couldn't forget how weird it sounded when he told Liam to see him anytime. Ew

"Well, we all know who this booty belongs to" he says proudly even turning around to smack his butt,  making me laugh. He sits on a chair before turning to Nicole,

"well, hello there" he says politely but to me sounded maniacally,

"Hi" she says timidly reaching to hold Tobias's hand

"I'm Liam," he says, smiling widely at her. Am I the only one seeing how psychotic he looks

"Yeah, no shit" I mutter while munching on my PB sandwich. We literally just heard a bunch of people scream your name. So yeah, maybe she didn't know.

"Nicole" she says looking less timid and next thing you know,

"Is that jigglypuff?"

"You like Pokémon?"

"em yhhh, I was obsessed with the game"

"omg me too"

And that's how Liam and Nicole talked about Pokémon for the whole of lunch. I didn't even know who started the conversion. They even tried involving us in their Pokémon whatever and imagining what Pokémon would apparently belong to us. I think they gave me something called Ditto or something.

It's like Liam studied us before he came here.

I lost count when they started talking about Pokémon itself.

I don't know if this was a short chapter or not but I'm excited for the sleepover.

I do know that Ellie can turn out to be Joe from You 😔
