"you knew it?!" lucas yelled at yuta.

"yes i did." he answered calmly.

"and why didn't you tell me anything?!"

"because jungwoo asked me to."

lucas and yuta were arguing because of me in an empty classroom, while i was listening to them behind the door.

i hadn't gone to class since the day lucas discovered we were soulmates. it's yuta who told me to stay home until he could come back to class. this morning, he walked me to school and promised me he would protect me from Lucas.

"i thought you were my best friend yuta!" lucas said loudly.

"i am. and i think it was better for you not to know it was him." yuta replied, still calm.

"how come you know what's better or not for me?! you don't care! of course! you're gay! you want to be in my shoes! having a boy soulmate! but i'm not. so don't pretend you care!" lucas yelled, running out of the class and slamming the door. yuta the got out and came to me.

"i'm so sorry yuta, because of me, your best friend is mad at you..." i said

"hey, stop crying and don't worry jungie, he isn't angry. it is just hard for him." yuta said, cupping my cheeks in his hands.

"h-he isn't angry?"

"no, if he really was, he would have hit me, and we would have fought." yuta said.

"hmm..."

"he just needs some time jungie."
