Chapter 11
Joy's P.O.V.
~warning: filler~
I'm being woke up by my phone vibrating on my nightstand.
I quickly swipe my finger across the screen to make it stop, so I can get up.
Today is Saturday, which means
Dating day.
I swing my legs out of my bed, and walk over to my window to open the curtains.
My back still hurts a bit from acting all crazy at the beach yesterday, but it was totally worth it.
I can't seem to get a giant smile off of my face, and I know exactly why.
Today is precisely eight months ago Ashton asked me to be his girlfriend, which I happily replied with a yes.
I'm making my way to the bathroom, where I already placed my outfit three days earlier.
I'm going to wear a white lace dress, together with a jean jacket and white Converse.
Also, I'm wearing a gold necklace Ash bought me.
It's just plain gold with two gold and diamond wings.
I've always wanted that, but never got the money to afford it.
The moment Ashton gave me this, I never stopped wearing it.
I'm so lucky to have a boyfriend like him, he's so thoughtful.
The warm water relaxed my muscles a lot, my back is already a lot better.
I washed my hair at least two times, making sure it smells nice and clean.
Still thinking about how I'm going to wear my hair, I walk to Charlie's door to wake her also.
I totally forgot to tell.
We're double dating today.
I kept asking and asking Luke about it, and now he finally gave in.
"Charlie! Get your lazy ass out of your bed!" I playfully yell, hoping she does get up before noon.
I quickly make some lemon tea, since I'm having a sore throath.
No, not that kind of sore.
When I finished my cup, Charlie still didn't got up, so I knock her door again, yelling.
"Charlotte Maria Patricia, show me your face right now or I'm forcing you!"
"I don't want to! I look like a zombie." She replies, sounding really tired.
"Well you should've got some sleep instead of texting Luke all night."
"Fine." She groans, and I hear her unlocking her door.
She looks me in the eye, desperate for some help.
"I'll get you some clothes, go get a shower. I'll do your hair and make-up too."
"Thank you." She whispers.
Charlie makes her way to the bathroom, and quickly locking the door so I can surely not enter.
I press my palm against the wooden door of her room, revealing two empty and two completely filled with posters and pictures walls.
I see she has already developed the moments of yesterday.
The one right above her little desk is my personal favorite.
We're all in the picture: the boys, Charlie and me.
It once again shows how much she actually cares about us.
Her table is stacked with shredded pieces of paper, scribled on them. I sometimes wonder what she writes, but she tells me those are secrets.
I need to focus on her outfit.
I really want her to look girly today, but still on a Charlie-way.
My hands rumble through a what seems endless stack of band shirts.
One catches my attention.
It's a black tank top with a white circle with a weird pattern.
'Bring Me The Horizon' it says.
I believe Charlie once showed me pictures of their lead singer, Oliver Sykes or something.
He was completely covered in tattoos, special.
She doesn't seem to own one skirt, only shorts, pants and leggings.
I take that back.
In the very back of her closet, I find a wide, short black skirt with a zipper on the back.
It even has the tag still on it.
Well that's a cheap skirt.
I cut the tag off, now I still need a pair of shoes.
I remember Charlie said she really liked my Creepers.
They're black with a floral print, and it's a double sole.
I guess they fit well with the outfit I already chose.
By the time I'm ready with her whole outfit, Charlie comes out of the bathroom with damp hair and a blue towel wrapped around her body.
"I hope you like it." I wink at her, pointing to her bed where I layed out the clothes.
"Are you kidding me? Can I really wear your Creepers? Thanks." Her smile grows bigger and bigger when she puts on the shoes, they're really cool on her.
When her make-up and hair are done, which are simple but flattering, I hear a knock at our door.
"Charlie, are you done?" I ask, not knowing where she suddenly went.
"Yeah, just a sec, can't find my phone!" She quickly replies.
When I open the door, I see the two blond haired boys smiling at me.
Ashton is wearing a blue skinny jeans with a black Ramones tank top, while Luke is wearing his usual black skinnies with a Nirvana t-shirt.
Both are wearing Vans.
They both come in and Ashton pecks me on my lips.
We're talking about some lame things, when I begin to wonder where Charlie is.
Her phone can't be that far away.
"Hey, sorry guys I really lost my phone and.. Hi." She awkwardly smiles, making the rest of us laugh.
When Luke takes a proper look at her, I couldn't help but "aw".
Putting them together, once again, litteraly my best idea ever.
The dinner was perfect, really. The food was great, my company aswell.
But I need to learn not to drink when Ashton is talking.
He always comes up with lame jokes, which makes me almost spit out my drink.
We're now making our walk back home, Ashton and I are walking in front of Luke and Charlie.
The sun has begun to set, but it's still light enough to see where you're going.
It's very quiet behind us, so I decide to take a look.
They're not behind us anymore.
They are actually, but a few meters away.
The two of them are walking really slow, laughing very loud.
It's good to see that Charlie can forget about her problems sometimes.
And I'm very grateful Luke is in her life.
