There stood Arjun Malhotra all suited up removing his aviators and staring her with one eyebrow up and eyes half open. Aarohi just shut her eyes tight looking at the devil right in front of her and by his expression it was clear that he heard her beautiful cuss words.

She just stood there bending her head while her open hair were acting like a curtain between her and Arjun.

"Beshist Manus, huh!?"

Arohi smile nervously looking the devil to whom she called beshist, though it was true for her but she cant directly say on his face.

"Si...Sir, i'm so...sorry. I didn't knew you were in the elevator."

Aarohi thinking to herself- Bappa what is this! Not again what he must be thinking and how did I actually ran up like a complete junglee until here and was banging the lift door. Not that I care, I mean I was getting late and it all happened in a moment but why did he had to be there to see me that too when he doesn't even use this lift. He has his own personal lift na what was the need to use this employee's lift. WHY ARE YOU HERE YAAR?*

Arjun-" Excuse me?! what do you mean by why am I here?" He suddenly asked making her literally jump on her place. Yaa she said the last line a bit loud.

Aarohi-" Haa...what sir? No.. nothing sir I didn't said anything." She shuttered while waiting for the lift to open and she gets out of it.

Arjun-" Miss Aarohi I have sharp ears and I did heard you clearly. And what do you mean by why am I here? This is my office if you have forgotten and i'm in the elevator Miss Arohi and calling your boss Beshist manus wont do any good for your job and on top of that you are -looking at his watch- 15 minutes late." The look he gave rise to the goosebumps on her body in both good and bad way.

"I...I'm... I'm so.. Sorry Sir, it wont happen again." She looked down scowling at the floor irritated with her stutter and also his string gaze.

Arjun had an amused as well as winning smirk on his face seeing her stuttering. The ever so feisty warrior is silent now!? And boy was he enjoying this!

"Are you really interested to work here or you are just buffling, because believe me when i say Miss Arohi there are many more capable candidates waiting out there to take your position and if I would have been in your place i would choose my moves wisely."

Now she was angry, how dare he say that she is buffling, just because she was 15 minutes late doesn't give him liberty to judge her capabilities.

"I'm not buffling sir, I'm genuinely interested to work here. This mistake won't happen again sir. I assure you."

'Now that's the girl i like the most!' Arjun thought while looking at her still smirking. He loves to challenge her!

His smirk soon turned into frown when he realised he thought.

He did not like her, but why was his brain playing games!

'This crazy will definitely make me go crazy one day!' He shook his head, frown still visible on his face.

"Good, show me how genuinely instrested you are working with Arman. Ready!?"

Arohi looked at him sceptically but nodded her head nevertheless.

A devil look crossed his face and he did no efforts to hide it making Arohi regret agreeing with him already.

"You have 15 minutes Miss Arohi. Reach 31st floor in 15 minutes without elevator, take the stairs"

Arohi was looking at him with her mouth hung open. Did he... Did he just ask her to ascend 31 floors?

She gluped and cleared her throat blinked twice to get assured of she is dream or the devil has really given her this task.

"Sir... 31 floors... with stairs!?" Incoherent words left her mouth in shock.

"Yes, miss Arohi t-h-i-r-t-y-o-n-e. I spelled it for you too. Now get started before I evacuate you."

"15 minutes" He showed watch while tapping on it. With this the elevator door closed leaving behind the poor Arohi.

"Baapa!"

Nandini's House

Manik was outside Nandini's house waiting for her to come out. She had called him early morning to meet her at home. Manik was confused but happy at the same time because he could meet his Gorgeous Gauri and Nandini together. He rang the bell only to see Gorgeous opening the door with a beautiful smile surprised to see Manik on a weekday.

Manik-"GORGEOUS!!!! GOOD MORNING!" He hugged her immediately making her smile and hug him back.

Gauri-" Manik what a surprise, you here on a weekday? Finally you remember that you also need to meet me. You have really forgotten me na." She broke the hug and looked side ways.

Manik-" Come on gorgeous you know na I can never forget you. It's just that I was a bit busy with work and home. But see I'm here today, now dont be angry with your maan." He back hugged her kissing her cheeks making a cute pout.

Gauri laughed looking at him like that n ruffled his hair but they stopped hearing someone scream.

" What the hell is this? Get away from my wife you idiot." They turned to see Nitish standing on the stairs having the most irritated face and crushing the newspaper in his hand. He ran downstairs shouting.

Nitish-" You monkey devil Malhotra how dare you even touch my wife. Gauri why were you ruffling his hair and giggling? What is he doing early morning at my house?" He asked holing Gauri's arms and pulling her to himself holding her waist possessively still glaring at Manik while Manik stood stumped and gapped at Nitish but then pouted at Gauri.

Manik-" Gorgeous look at your husband what he is saying? Can't I even come to this house, you said na this is my house?" His cute face made Gauri go all Aww and she swat Nitish and came out of his hold scolding him.

Gauri-" Stop it Nitish, is this the way you talk to someone? Manik you don't mind beta and of course it is your house and you have full right to come whenever you wish to come. I will also see who doesn't let you in." She said the last line looking at her dear husband. Manik had a winning smile on his face while Nitish just huffed in anger.

Manik-" Aww, thank you Gorgeous you are the best." He again hugged her n this time Gauri lovingly kissed his forehead.

Nitish-" This is so wrong, this devil has casted his spell on both my ladies. Why did you called my wife Gorgeous? She is of your mother's age infact she is your girlfriend's mother."

Manik-" So what, I'm calling her that because she is a gorgeous lady and Nandini knows that I call her gorgeous and yes Gauri maa is my bestie so I will call her what I want to, am I right Gauri Maa urf Gorgeous." Gauri just nodded her head controlling her laugh. Nitish was about to say something when they heard Nandini's voice.

Nandini-" Appa and Manik enough okay, why do you always have to fight when you meet?" She came from the kitchen holding her mug of coffee. Manik had the brightest smile looking at his star.

Nitish-" Princess, isko bolde ki yeh yahan se jaaye. I was not fighting but this boyfriend of yours is flirting with my wife, I won't tolerate it." he gave a hard glare to Manik while Nandini shook her head.

Nandini-" Appa, I had called him here and that to for a reason so you better behave and he is not flirting with Mumma, just teasing you."

Gauri-" What reason Nandu?

Arohi finally reached huffing and puffing on the 31st floor.

"Bappa, inko kabhi maaf mat karna, jitna inhone mujhe chalaya hai na usse kahi jyada inko chalana!"

Before she could utter any other word the devil himself spoke.

"You can curse me later on miss Arohi, first go and bring me my coffee." Saying her turned to go in his cabin, but before entering he again looked at her and said again gapping on his watch.

"In five minutes"

She have him a a sarcastic smile with muttering profanities under her breath.

"Gadha, agar mera boss nahi hota na tog mei batati isse. Samjhta kya hai apne aapko, 'i want coffee in five minutes miss Arohi.' Jese koi employee nahi inki naukar hoo mei!

Aarohi was making coffee in the pantry just after dumping all her files and bag in her cabin. She was really cursing her pretty mouth for being an idiot and talking all that in front of Arjun. Her morning has been a disaster till now.

*Bappa I will not talk to you. This is so wrong... yeh morning is only not good. God knows what will happen further.* She heard a guy and girl talking.

Girl-" Did you see today Arjun sir took the employee's lift. I missed the chance to be in the same lift as him Aarohi was there na in the lift. But why did sir used that lift?"

Guy-" Just stop Shipra, it was a one time thing that too because his own lift is out of service there is some problem which is currently getting fixed. You know he won't use this lift if not an emergency. And grow up yaar, stop acting like a teenager crushing over him."

Girl-" You won't get it, He is so hot and imagine meeting him first in the morning ufff... I so wish that once I can meet him. He doesn't even let anyone come in his cabin. Only his PA and Shivansh sir."

They were talking and got involved in their talks. While Aarohi rolled her eyes hearing the girl but now her confusion was clear.

*Ohhh... so this is why he was here this morning. But still why me bappa? You could have made her meet him. These silly girls don't know who is he behind that handsome face a complete Devil. I hope he doesn't ask me again what I said in the lift.* She took the coffee and moved towards his cabin.

ARJUN'S CABIN

Aarohi entered the cabin after taking Arjun's permission and slammed the coffee mug on his table.

Aarohi- "SIR.. your coffee." The angry pout was making her look super cute which she hid with a fake smile as soon as Arjun looked at her. Arjun looked at the coffee mug and then at his watch.

Arjun-" Impressive Miss. Aarohi you are on time, I hope that you maintain this in the morning while waking up too then only you will reach on time." He had a smirk on his face while he took the coffee mug and reclined on his chair with one leg on top of another. If eyes were James bond gun then by now Arjun would have been dead by all the fire bullets Aarohi was shooting at him while he was enjoying his coffee.

Arjun- "Okay now lets get back to work, You will be supervising all the work for the collaboration project with MM industries. I need everything to be checked thrice by you before it comes to me. We will be starting off with the consignment which is going to be sent from our side while the machinery and labour is of the other company. You have been in the meeting with me so I think you have the details of what our client wants. I dont need any mistake from your end."

Aarohi-" But sir, this is my first time and you are asking me to supervise? I don't have much of an experience what if I do something wrong? This is a big project you can ask Shivansh sir to cross check--" She was a nervous as she has just joined and he is asking to supervise stuff from his side. Arjun looked at her and asked her to take a seat.

Arjun-" Miss Aarohi experience comes from working and if you will not even try then how will you gain experience? I agree this is a big and important project that is the reason I want to give you a chance because you know that how important this is for us so you will be cautious while doing anything and give your 100%. I can ask Shiv to look after it but he is not my PA who will give me updates. He is handling other stuff and projects and I won't burden him with more. You may not be punctual to office but I have seen how dedicated you are to challenges, Just now you fulfilled both my challenges because you wanted to prove yourself so even take this as a challenge and prove yourself that you can do it the best way." After what Arjun said Aarohi was stunned, she didn't know what to say. This arrogant boss of hers was actually believing in her and giving her a chance. She always thought him to be a mean, arrogant and bossy person but today from his words it felt that he was totally opposite and believed in motivating his employees.

Aarohi-" Thank you sir for believing in me and my capabilities. I will give my best and won't let this opportunity go. But what if I fail you or do something wrong."

Arjun-" Then I'm there to take of that you don't need to worry but if you will think negative from the start then how will do things right? Just concentrate on your work and give me updates regularly. Here take the file and go through them once and then meet me in 2 hours for dictation." He forwarded the file to her and then got back to his work while Aarohi stood up and went to her cabin which was just next to his and had one side.

Aarohi came to her cabin and started jumping like a bunny. She was really happy as she got her first assignment to do and that too a big one. Instantly she picked up her phone to call the person with whom she shares everything big or small. Soon the person picked up the call and aarohi started speaking without the other person to even say hello.

Aarohi-" DADDY BEAR !!!!!!! I'M so happy so happy so happy. You know what I have got my first assignment and that too the same project our company has currently signed. That devil boss asked me to supervise everything and give him reports. Though for this he made me work so hard and took my test which I didn't know but then He said that I can do this and this will help me gain experience. And you know what----" Before she could say anything else her father cut her in the middle.

Raj-" Are are meri bullet train thamba thamba, atleast take breaths in between. You didn't even let me speak and phone uthte hi chalu tera. *she pouted listing to her father* Okay first thing first, congratulations my princess and I know my daughter is a hardworking girl and has a lot of caliber so she will get the opportunity. But my child you even need to hold on to your excitement and concentrate on your work. So now just calm yourself and work with full dedication. Don't let your over excitement ruin your work." His words made Aarohi smile to the fullest she knew that talking to her father will be the best as he can calm her down and at the same time boost her energy too.

Aarohi-" Daddy bearrrrrrrrrr... I love you so much. You are the bestest in the world. Now I will talk to you later I need to read some documents and you also do your work sorry I disturbed you na."

Raj-" No mera baccha,I am never busy for you and now you also work hard and while coming back home I will get your fav. rasogullas then we will party. Bye love you more bacche." He gave her a kiss on phone and she cut the call with a smile and started working.

Nandini-" Manik is here for his punishment. Earlier I had thought something else but now I know what punishment I have to give." She smirked looking at Manik while he gulped his saliva.

Gauri-" What punishment Nandu? And why are you punishing my Manu?" She asked in concerned voice while Nitish was really happy hearing his daughter giving punishment to Manik.

Nandini-" Manik has to prepare Dosa for us and Appa will help him in that." As soon as she said this she heard 2 people shouting on top of their voice.
