Y/n's POV

I woke up feeling hot as hell and like I could barely breathe. After coming to my senses I realized that I was still on the couch and Tae was sleeping on top of me. "Tae! Wake up!" I gasp while lightly hitting him on the shoulder. "Oh shit y/n I am so sorry!" he says worriedly as he scrambles off me. "It's okay, you're fine," I say while giving him a sweet smile, "it was just really hot that's all," my statement earns a cute giggle from Tae. I look at the clock, "Tae we're gonna be late and miss the bus for the mall!"

I go into the laundry room and quickly grab my school clothes out of the drier since Tae washed them for me last night and changed into them right there, turning around to see Tae standing right behind me with an expression that I can't quite pinpoint. I grab his clothes out of the drier and throw them at him for him to change. He changes as I walk away to gather my bag that I left in his living room. The movie menu was playing on repeat on the TV screen so I shut it off just as Tae came around the corner with a blanket around him.

"What are you doing with that blanket? It's 70 degrees out, a beautiful day," I question his acts.

"Yea but I'm still half asleep so I just feel like hanging onto the blanket for a few more minutes," Tae answers and I don't question him further.

Taehyung's POV

Good. She bought my lie. The real reason I have this blanket around me is because seeing her in only a bra and underwear really turned me on. I had to cover my little friend down there somehow. Chances that we already missed the bus are quite high, so we decided to just drive to the mall and meet our class there. Keeping the blanket around my shoulders, I opened the garage door revealing my 6 cars. I let y/n choose which car she wanted to take and she picked my red GTR. I unlocked and open the door allowing her to get in. After closing the door I shuffle over to the driver's side and start the car.

Once we arrived at the mall, we drove around it until we spotted the school buses. I parked the car and y/n let herself out. I quickly lift the blanket from my lap to check if my friend is still there, and thankfully find that he no longer is. Leaving the blanket in the car, I hopped out and jogged up to join y/n who was walking up to the group of kids getting off the bus.

"Taehyung, y/n." The teacher says calmly while looking at us.

"I'm sorry we are late Sir," I bow as I apologize.

"No worries Taehyung, it's because of you that we are here in the first place!" He replies while giving me a quick wink. I smile and bow one more time. I look around for y/n and see her a few meters away talking to a group of girls. Oh gosh, I thought. Did she know about the little issue I had on the way here? She's probably over there laughing with her friends about it right now.

Y/n's POV

I decide to give Taehyung a break from me since he's had to deal with me all night. I'm very grateful for his hospitality but there's no need to burden him anymore. He's way too good for me to even hang out with, he's incredibly intelligent and probably thinks I'm only as smart as a potato. I approach my gal pals and they instantly all start making a fuss about how I pulled up here with Tae in his car.

"Oh my gosh, did you sleep with him again?!" Rose asks as she reaches for my hair moving it out of the way trying to get a good look at my neck.

"Ugh girl I am so jealous of you," Lisa squeaks as she juts out her bottom lip and gives me puppy eyes.

"Nonono," I shake my head as I move Rose's hand away from my bare, unmarked neck. "That was a one-time thing and you know we were both drunk at that party. I don't think he even remembers anything," I say as a solemnly look at my feet. Tae gets offers from girls all the time begging him to let them pleasure him, he never fails to turn down every girl with the reason that he wants his first time to be with the right person. That's the same way I always thought too. But all that changed three weeks ago at that stupid party, I still haven't forgiven myself for it, it was just like I had no control over my body in the heat of the moment, and I've always found Tae irresistible. We both lost our virginity that night to each other. We both passed out afterwards and I was the first one to wake up, so I silently slipped out with my heart full of regret from what I had done to him. Even though he was as into it as I was, neither of us were in our right minds since we had a few shots beforehand and were very intoxicated. We never said a word about to each other, and nothing changed between us so I just came to the conclusion that he had no recollection of that night. I was smart enough to not kiss him though. So at least my first kiss, and possibly his, will still be something to look forward to, something to cherish, no matter who it's with. 

Rose and Lisa are the only people who know what truly happened that night. I walk with them into the mall with my head hanging low as memories from that night clouded my brain. 

"EEEK" Lisa screams as she points at a shop with glowing letters above the door frame that spell out 'GUCCI '. She grabs my hand pulling me towards the shop when I suddenly spot Taehyung inside and dig my heels into the ground. Of course he'd be in that store of all places, I mean, he has money practically falling out of his ears. Lisa follows my line of sight then looks back at me giving a knowing look. She releases her grip on my hand as I say "I-I think I'm g-gonna go to the pet store where I work, I miss my babies." Even though I'm actually scheduled to work later today after school hours, I really did miss all the animals inside that place, especially Alpha, a six foot long ball python that is not for sale, she is kept inside the store by the employees as a store pet.

This mall is huge, I thought to myself as I made my way over to the pet store. I finally spot it as I walk up to the overly-sized glass doors. This place is truly magnificent, it never fails to amaze me. I stand there for a few seconds trying to catch my breath as I marvel at the view of the mini indoor forest in front of me. Most of the animals are allowed out during the daytime to wander about the indoor enclosure which has a thick glass dome roof for sunlight to get in to bring nourishment to the plants and animals that reside here. I make my way through the trees following the path that leads to the snakes corner of the habitat. I look around at all the beautiful creatures trying to spot Alpha with no luck. I begin to admire a green tree python, who has curled himself neatly on a tree branch at eye level when I feel a firm, but not too tight, squeeze around my leg. I look down to see Alpha looking up at me and don't waste a second to pick her up and place her over my shoulders. Even though I'm not currently clocked in, I ask the manager if it's alright to take Alpha out of the pet store and walk around to kind of advertise the pet store. She agrees and so I start to walk around the open area of the mall with Alpha still sitting contently around my shoulders. A few kids have asked to pet her which I of course allowed and the pointed them in the direction of the pet store in case they wanted to see more animals.

I continue to walk along hoping to find my friends again when suddenly, every single monitor in the store displays the same message:

⚠ATTENTION⚠

Y/n stares at the monitors in disbelief as the alert flashes across the screen.
