I stood with my back turned to Frisk. I knew they were at AfterTale. Probably talking with that other Sans and other Frisk. My anger towards them still stands tall. They are silent until I finally break the silence.

I was just shocked. I was pretty sure I was hearing things.
"What?!"

I couldn't believe what I'm hearing. I was confused, yet enraged. I felt my anger rise up.
"Do you really think. DO YOU REALLY THINK THAT YOU CAN UNDO WHAT YOU DID!?" My left eye pulsing with my magic, leaving a flame end of bloody red emitting from my eye. My right eye closed tightly shut. I manifested an energy bomb. Frisk soon makes a quick move towards me. I send out the energy bomb at them. They took the hit as they went full sprint towards me.
"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR-"
My question was soon answered. I felt a sudden sharp pressure on my abdomen. I had no breath, I looked down. There they were, the human.

A mysterious wind soon rolled in, my own dark magic has somehow lost its grip my hood. The dark magic that covered my own face losing its grip as it disintegrated into nothingness. My face plastered with confusion and shock.

My own emotions getting the better of me. I soon felt....love, compassion, joy, kindness, hopefulness, trust, and anticipation. I felt whole again. I felt like myself again. I soon felt my arms moving on there own. I felt Frisk's soul beating a soothing rhythm. The void that once made everything black and white is no more... My world has gotten brighter, I felt... No...

I FEEL LIKE MY TRUE SELF AGAIN.

This is my fate...

My time is up here... I am no longer needed.

(Frisk POV)

I felt vengeance change. I soon felt the dark magic and hatred that once fueled him leave and disintegrate entirely. I then felt familiar arms wrap around me. The same arms that brought me to a friendship that I have neglected for years. Even though I haven't changed, Brave didn't either...

(Brave POV)

I felt all of my dark magic and hatred go away. I was back to my old self. Me, little Brave was back... Finally... And all it took was a hug...

I really am such a babybones. Always giving in to the soft stuff, even the kindest of acts. "Thank you Frisk... thank you..." I felt them nod.
* You tell Brave, even though we are alone we are still the best of friends. . .*
I nearly forgot about that. Our home is destroyed and barley in one piece. I know there has to be someway to do it... Someway to save everyone.

I quickly get out of the hug and out two firm grips on their shoulder. A serious expression plastered on my face. "I'm going to do what I CAN DO." * You tell Brave you don't understand.*
"Don't worry, I know what I'm doing." I let go and back away from them. They have a confused expression on their face. That is until I took out my soul. It was back to it original color, red. I close my eye sockets and take a second to gather my concentration. * You tell- No you yell at Brave.*
* You yell at him, "there's another way. Please don't do this."*
"Don't try and stop me Frisk. This is my choice. This is my purpose after all. There's a reason why I'm given such power. It's my duty, not only to protect the power, but to use it when it's needed, THE TIME IS NOW!" I felt my soul glow bright, my own skeletal body feeling lighter. The ruby embedded in my soul joins in to the bright light.
* You yell aga-*
"Frisk. This is my decision, please. Let me do something right. Just this time... Please." I had faith within myself, I know I can do this. I'm the only one who can.
* You feel hesitant but, you let him.*
My soul is filled with power. The power of CREATION and DESTRUCTION. Hopefully Ruby won't mind. I know the consequences of using its full power. I'm ready. With the full power of the Ancient Ruby, the power of creation and destruction, with my own hopes and dreams, I unleash the power that remained dormant within me since I was 2 years old. I felt the power quickly disappear. I feel exhausted and immediately my knees gave out. I was on the white void floor now. I felt weak and tired. I was barley able to open my eye sockets but, when I did open them, Frisk was right there, tears in their eyes.
"Why? Brave why? Why did you do that. That'll ki-"
"I know..." I could barley talk. It came out like a whisper. A ragged whisper. "I know what I'm... doing Frisk... it's my duty after all..." I couldn't barley say a full sentence without taking a breath, even if skeletons don't have lungs, they still need it to make magic naturally. "I know what consequences...will come upon me... I made another one... another home... for you..."
"W-why? I-I don't deserve your kindness! I was supposed to SAVE you! Not the other way around! I was supposed to be your knight in shining armor, I WAS THE ONE WHO DID THIS!" Frisk was bawling their eyes out with tears of sadness, I felt them kneel and put my head on their lap. I felt their tears fall on my face. My eye lights dim red, tears staining my uncles scarf, and the reflective baby blue of the tears from my brother's charm.
"Frisk... not everyone can be saved... not even me... I'm ready for it... and at the same time I'm scared... I'm scared of dying... I'm scared of being deleted... I'm afraid to go into the darkness... but now...." I weakly raise my right arm and put it on Frisk chest. "I know... at least I have somebody... to comfort me as... I go on... into the nothingness..." I felt the strings that are attached to my soul start to snap. "My hatred... Vengeance was the only one responsible on holding this AU from plummeting...into the nothingness... but I'm no longer him...he is no longer needed...HIS duty was completed...and now I'm doing mine..." *CRACK!* My soul is starting to crack. It's already having deletion pixels appear already.
"I'm, I'm so sorry... This is all my fault... ALL MY FAULT! If only I, if I *sniff* if only I didn't try and get the impossible ending just to get to the TRIALS, this wouldn't have happened... *sniff* I could've saved you..."
I too know the feeling... The feeling of being helpless as everyone you once knew and loved dies, and they didn't deserve it. But now...there's one last request...that I have....
"Hey Frisk... if you ever meet... me... could you... go on a date... and go get some nice cream... Uncle told me he.... would get me and big brother some..." I still remembered after all these years...

(Flash back)
"Aww! So no ice cream?" "Don't worry Brave, I'll get you and your brother ice cream tomorrow ok? "OK!"

That was a joyful memory... I felt sleepy...
"Alright...*sniff* I promise." My hand on their chest was shaky. It soon fell towards my side. I felt at peace.
" Thank... you..." I let my eye sockets slowly flutter shut. *SNAP! SNAP! CRACK!* the strings that once held a AU quickly start to snap apart. I felt the shift of the edge of it. As it gets closer to its original demise. I see the title in Frisk start to piece itself back together... into what it originally was...

I let a smile blossom on my face. As finally... I close my eyes fully... The old BraveTale falls into the deletion file. Into the true abyss, it disintegrates into nothingness. Old memories destroyed in an instant. Everyone's memories that were once made, gone forever, never to be found. My soul only a crack away from its utter destruction. My breaths going so ragged and slow... Frisk still at my side, my head still laying upon their lap as tears still strike upon my skeletal face. My time is here and now... The time for a NEW ERA to begin. The beginning of the end... I feel my self get lighter... *CRACK* my soul, turns into pieces of soul shards, and soon disintegrate into nothing. I let myself relax as I greet the nothingness. I'm no longer afraid... my ragged and slow breaths stop entirely. My eyes shut, my body not longer stiff nor stressed. At least, I know even if these are my final moments in life, my final moments to die, my final moments of even existing... I'm going to be free. With everyone else too. I'll see Toriel, big brother, uncle, Undyne, Mettaton, Alphys, Asgore, and all the others too again... Well in my last 10 seconds of course... I'm now...

I'm filled with DETERMINATION, COMPASSION, LOVE, KINDESS, HAPPINESS, JOY, TRUST, ANTICIPATION. I move forward, towards the screen.
