⚜Chapter 3 ⚜

𝓣𝔀𝓸 𝓭𝓪𝔂𝓼 𝓵𝓪𝓽𝓮𝓻... ⚜

Taehyung's POV

In my sleep, my hearing senses woke up since I heard the rooster crowing loudly. I slowly opened my eyes, and it was slightly dark in my bedroom. I slightly groaned a bit, probably because my body felt a bit stiff from my sleeping position. I briefly fixed my hair since it got a bit messy.

I slightly turned around and just as I thought, it was cloudy. Yet this was just a glance I took, because I'm kind of drowsy right now. I pushed myself up into a sitting position, just to wake my five senses up completely. I turned to the edge of the bed and stood up to look out from the window.

In my reflection, I could see myself in a simple, long-sleeve white shirt and loose white pants. My sleepwear may look slightly big, but I don't care. I just wanted to look outside from the window.

In the window framing outside from my house, the first thing I looked at was the cloudy sky. It looked like a blanket of cotton covering the clear sky, giving out a mixture of blue and gray.

It may look slightly mysterious and eerie for anyone else's eye. Yet for me...it looked surprisingly beautiful and calm. It makes me feel relaxed.

My eyes slightly darted down at the grass; it definitely gave out its teal color since the dim light of the bluish-gray sky.

That teal color...

It reminds me of the young woman in teal.

The young woman in teal.

Who I was captured by her beauty two days ago, since I first saw her.

I couldn't even forget her striking facial features. She seemed so innocent, yet in full bloom at the same time. I wonder who she is.

While flashing back of what happened two days ago, I suddenly felt my heart thumping quicker. Just thinking about that young woman in teal, it makes my heart go insane.

Well, my heart has to go insane to stay sane, right? How insane would my heart be if I see her right in front of me?

God, please don't make me drop dead here and there. Yet, she's drop dead gorgeous.

I want to know if she just came down from heaven without wings.

I don't want to know if she is really an angel, because real angels came down from heaven for a brief moment--at least expected, they go back right up where they're from. No. If she's an angel without wings, then that must mean that she's living on this earth.

Yet...my inner voice told my thoughts.

You must find her. Go find her.

Find her? How? I don't know where she lives!

No, wait. I remember that I made a vow myself two days ago that I would find her no matter what it takes.

And I started to feel the urge now.

What's this feeling? With my heart pounding like crazy when I think about her? Even when I felt like I was about to lose my breath.

No, put yourself together. You have to find her, Taehyung. You just have to.

So I turned and walked away from my bedroom to do my morning routine.

After I was done with my morning routine and fully dressed up, I exited from the house.

I was going to search for my pet horse Rusty to have a ride around the town. Yet, between that, I will find that young woman in teal.
I walked past the barn and saw my brown stallion eating grass in the stable. No wonder he woke up earlier than me.

As soon as he spotted me, he ambled towards me standing in front of the fence. I smiled at him as I caressed his forehead.

"Hey Rusty. Did you sleep well?" I asked.

Rusty nickered as a yes.

"I'm glad you did." I smiled.

I thought for a moment while looking down, then looked up at Rusty. I then rested my arms on the top railing of the fence.

"Rusty...I was wondering if we could go out somewhere now. It could be anywhere but inside of that...I want to find a young woman who not only caught my eye...yet also my heart." I told him.

The brown stallion let out another nicker. Seems like he's curious to know who she is.

I'm such an idiot to myself that I don't even know her name. But it doesn't matter. I still felt the urge to find her.

"I don't know her name, but I do know what she looks like. Maybe a hidden angel." I softly spoke.

"So what do you say? Wanna help me out?" I offered Rusty.

The brown stallion motioned me to hop on his back. That made me grin at him; I walked around the fence to open its door to let Rusty walk out.

I then approached him, climbed up the saddle to sit on his back and supported myself by grabbing the reins.

"Come on boy, let's go." I then clicked my tongue, told him to start off and Rusty began to gallop.

I'm ready to find that beautiful young woman I saw two days ago.

Narrator's POV

As Taehyung kept riding on his pet horse Rusty, we traveled to a busy, crowded yet small town.

Most people were walking in opposite directions. People selling their own products and antiques, scarves, bracelets, you name it. Some were just chatting and laughing, others sitting on tables eating their meal or drinking.

Amidst the people walking and chatting around, there's a person who looks completely different than anybody else. His clothing looked like he came from another era. A completely different era from this.

He was wearing a dark olive cardigan with a white shirt under, black denim jeans and black sneakers. His natural, warm peach-colored skin tone gave out a faint glow under the bright cloudy sky. As well as his ash-brown dyed hair, creating silky streaks of light.

He seemed clueless of where to go, as if this place is completely foreign to him. He scanned at his surroundings: the busy movement going on in this small town.

"Where am I?" He muttered to himself in puzzlement.

He then spotted a bench standing between the bushes, so he approached and sat on it. He looked from side to side, maybe he's still not getting used to this type of era.

He glanced at the greeny bush, smiled and stroked the small, fine leaves. It made him smile by just looking at simple, beautiful things from nature. He then turned around and spotted a tree behind him.

He then stood up and walked away from the bench, to approach the tree.

As he approached the tree, he was staring up as if the tree was taller than him. He touched the trunk gently; he then sat on the ground, his back leaning against the trunk.

He scanned at his surroundings; he felt like himself being in a small garden. It felt nice. Really nice.

Until all of a sudden, he felt his head being hit. He shut his eyes tight and winced, as he rubbed gently on where his head got hit with his hand.

"Ow, that hurts."

He then looked around what was it that hit him on the head until... he spotted a solid red apple.

Just as he picked it up from the ground, it felt smooth and looked shiny that he could see his small reflection. While looking at the apple, something crossed his mind as if it reminded him of.

He just stifled a chuckle and spoke, "I'm like Newton who discovered gravity force for the first time."

Yet when he realized that he has seen gravity since like forever, he frowned. "Aish, I've seen gravity like always. Learned this since elementary."

And he threw the red apple from behind, like it's nothing interesting for him.

The red apple landed behind him, now in front of the other side of the trunk.

At the other side, a hand then picked the red apple up. That hand was from another young man who was also sitting on the ground, leaning his back against the trunk. Seems like he came from in this era. He looked poor because of his dirty white clothing and black pants and shoes.

His facial features could tell that he's innocent-looking despite his adult age. He tilted his head from side to side, staring at the smooth-looking red apple in his hands, as if he had never seen it before.

His lips curved into an adorable, bunny smile. Maybe he would love to take a bite.

He then stood up from the ground and skipped away from the tree.

The poor young man now was walking down the busy streets of the town. He was searching for some water fountain to wash the apple before eating.

He looked around but people were blocking his view of where he was searching. Yet he kept on looking and looking around...until he found an intricate-looking water fountain.

He then glanced down at the red apple again, then he shrugged with the bunny smile on his face.

He approached the water fountain, sat on the edge and washed the red apple. He then shook the excess water from the apple, held it in his hands and took a bite on the fruit.

While munching the apple, he smiled again as satisfaction. Yep. Apples taste sweet and delicious.

As he was about to take another bite, he heard galloping behind him. He turned around and at a distance, he spotted a young man riding on a brown stallion. Yet also, he recognized that young man.

The young man on the brown stallion arrived in the area where the poor man sits on the water fountain. He gently pulled the reins, making his pet brown horse slow down the pace.

As the brown stallion slowed down and stopped aside the water fountain, the young man glanced down at the poor young man with an apple.

The poor young man smiled at him as he recognized him and greeted, "Hi, Taehyung."

Taehyung smiled back as he climbed down from his stallion. "Hi, Jungkook. Long time no see."

"What brings you here, by the way?" Jungkook asked him curiously.

Taehyung deeply inhaled and exhaled as if he enjoyed breathing some fresh, natural air.

"Just taking a trip around, since it's been a while I haven't." He told Jungkook.

Jungkook acknowledged it by nodding and said, "I see."

"How's your family doing? I bet your little sister has grown up." Jungkook spoke.

"Boy, she's just thirteen. Stop telling my baby sister growing up." Taehyung pouted as he crossed his arms.

"Hey, calm down. It's not like she's going to move away when she gets married." Jungkook eased him, before taking another bite of the apple.

Taehyung frowned a bit, maybe admitting that Jungkook's right.

"Anyways, my family's doing great. Still working hard on our farm." He spoke.

Something suddenly crossed his mind and made him gasp, remembering what happened two days ago.

"I met Jimin two days ago." Taehyung recounted.

"Really? With his little brother?" Jungkook asked, after swallowing his bite of the red apple.

Taehyung nodded with a smile on his face. "It's been a while since the last time I saw them. Two days ago, he and his little brother visited my house...which is quite surprising for me."

"We were playing with Tan by fetching and tagging around. I'm planning to come to Jimin's house this afternoon with my little sister."

"That's nice to hear." Jungkook smiled.

Taehyung then looked at Jungkook, thinking that Jungkook would join him to come over to Jimin's house.

"Jungkook...I was thinking that you can join me and my sister coming over to Jimin's house." Taehyung suggested.

Jungkook looked at him and asked, "Really?"

Taehyung smiled and nodded at the poor young man. Jungkook thought about it for a moment. Since Jungkook was pretty much alone mostly in his life, he needs company sometimes. Jungkook smiled, thinking that it would be a good time for him to spend time with his friends.

So he agreed with a nod and said with a smile, "Ok. I can join you."

Taehyung's POV

I'm so glad that Jungkook accepted my invitation to come over to my friend Jimin's house. I'm certain that he might need some company from us.

"Great! Do you want me to pick you up with my horse? Since...well, I live in the countryside so it might be far away." I suggested.

"I won't mind about it." Jungkook shrugged with his adorable bunny smile on his face, making me chuckle softly.

Suddenly, we heard some pacing hoovesteps behind us; we turned around and saw a silhouette of a young woman on the horse behind the huge entrance arch. Seemed like she was talking to some friend of hers.

I wonder who that silhouette is.

I saw the horse slowly turning and started ambling out from the archway. When that silhouette slowly brought out the cloudy light. It was the black horse I saw two days ago.

And there she is on the horse. The beautiful young lady in teal. Yet her dress is not the color teal this time. It's more like forest green.

Her stunning, facial features made me recognize her immediately.

Yet this time, I looked away from her, by looking down at the ground, since she's near to me while walking. I don't want to get caught staring at her.

Sensing that she was walking past me, I could feel my heart starting to flutter again. I did not know what was going on this time. It was going crazy inside of me when she's around. I felt hypnotized, even though I didn't stare at her. My breath felt lost but...

Is she my oxygen?

Just right after she walked past me, my eyes darted up and I turned my head around. But wait...

Is Rusty following that black mare? Is he insane?!

I was in a mix of shock and confusion. He did not have to do that!

"Rusty?"

Yet, it seemed like...he's attracted to her?

No, but he can't follow the mare he doesn't know of!

"Maybe he liked the black mare when he first saw her." I heard Jungkook; I glanced at him before turning to look at my brown horse again, now far away and the walking crowd blocking my sight.

"Oh no." I muttered against my breath as I started to jog off to catch up at my brown horse.

"Hang on, I'm coming right with you, Tae!" I heard Jungkook behind me, sensing that he's trying to catch up with me.

We then started to rush through the crowd; we made some people look at us in confusion but I don't care. I have to get my brown horse back before he gets lost from my sight.

We stopped and now stuck in the middle of the crowd, walking in every direction. We looked around but there's no sign from Rusty.

Suddenly, I have an idea of how we can find Rusty the quickest way possible. I glanced back at Jungkook.

"I'll tell you what, Jungkook."

"What?"

"You go from side to side and I'll go straight ahead. Let me know when you find him." I told him what to do to find Rusty.

"You got it." He nodded before we separated our ways to find my brown horse.

My pet horse is gonna get a real scolding for this.

Narrator's POV

The young man in the dark olive cardigan was still wandering around the crowded streets.

He looks like a lost child while looking around. He doesn't know anything about this place nor the time he was now. Not because he didn't want to, but...everything he sees right now is a complete different illusion from his times.

Indistinct chattering, laughter, hoovesteps from horses, animal sounds, you name it everywhere--was everything he could hear.

To him, it was more like a busy town market. Selling clothes, antiques, food, and the list could go on.

He then looked around again until he found a decent-looking cathedral in the distance on his right side. This made him tilt his head in curiosity, leading him to arrive there.

As he arrived, he entered the cathedral and it seemed slightly dark. Except it was illuminated in warm colors by the candles. It definitely gives out a warm-filled welcome to anyone who comes in.

He slowly walked down the aisle, scanning from left to right. The cathedral looked empty despite the empty, dark wooden benches between him-- and the only thing he could hear is his footsteps.

As he stopped between the front benches, he carefully sat on the right-side front bench. He wondered if anyone's here in this church but silence could tell him that there's no one.

Yet...what he didn't realize is that there's a young red-haired, freckled boy, more likely Drummer's age--peeking the young man in the dark olive cardigan through the narrow gap of the slightly opened door at the inner corner.

The little boy then walked away, without the young man noticing, who was still sitting on the bench.

The young man then turned his head, looking around the interior of this place once again. He deeply sighed out, just to relax himself for a moment. Yeah, for him, it felt a bit intimidating being the only one as a complete foreigner in this past time.

The pitch silence has been finally broken when he heard another male voice asking him,

"Can I help you, friend?"

The young man then turned his head to face another young man wearing in white. He seemed like a young priest; he's definitely like the young man in the dark olive cardigan's age.

"Umm...not really, but thank you. I just...came here casually." The young man nearly stammered; he did not completely expect that someone else's here as well.

"Well, in this place, no one comes here just by causality. Everyone comes here with a purpose. I'm sure that you have come here with a purpose, friend." The young priest corrected him, while approaching and sat next to him.

"Some came here to meditate and others came here to pray at the altar for their needs." He added.

The young man thought about it for a moment. Since then, it felt like everything went into a blink of his eyes.

"Well...I got lost. I...honestly didn't know when and where am I this time. Besides...I have never thought that I would experience this era." He admitted to the young priest.

"Judging by the clothes you're wearing..." The young priest crossed his arms, while looking at the young man's different-looking outfit.

"You definitely came from a different era." He assumed.

The young man nodded and said, "Exactly. I came here from the future."

The young priest raised his eyebrows slightly by surprise. "Really?"

The young man just nodded and the young priest nodded along.

"Well, that's interesting. How did you get here in this era I'm living?" The young priest asked him.

The young man then deeply sighed and admitted, "Long story."

"I see." The young priest understood; he then stood up from his seat, approached the altar and stared at the glowing candles in front of him.

"Do you work here?" The young man asked the priest.

"I worked and lived here." The priest responded.

The young man seemed to be taken aback of his response. Was he born here or lived with one of his family members since childhood, he thought.

"My grandfather was a priest back in the time I was born. I even got dedicated to God by him three months later. When I grew up as a child, I used to help him every evening. Cleaning up lamps, organizing candles, you name it. Sometimes he shared the Word of God with me. He was a spiritual man but I wasn't honestly. I didn't understand that well back then. The more I spent time with my grandfather...the better I understood his spirituality." The young priest explained about his past.

"Where's your grandfather now?" The young man asked the priest.

"In heaven for three years now. He died in his sleep because of illness at his elderly age." The young priest spoke.

This really hurt the young man sitting on the bench. It must have been hard for his religious friend to lose a loved one at such a young age.

"I'm very sorry for your loss." He sympathized in a sad tone of his voice.

"It's all right, friend. He's resting very well up there." The young priest spoke as he smiled a bit with trust in God.

"Since when he left, I get to live here and work everything he has left behind for me. Every time I clean this place, it makes me think of my grandfather." He added.

The young man sitting on the bench smiled, glad to hear that the young priest gets to remember his grandfather every time he does the work.

Yet all of the sudden, his smile faded as if he remembered something that affected him very deeply years ago (in his time before turning back in this past time).

"Well...my grandfather passed away after a long battle of chronic illness as well. It was a week before my high school graduation. I was very affected at that time. At my graduation day, I honestly had mixed emotions." The young man recounted his past experience.

"I went to church with my family before. But because of my grandfather's untimely death...I started doubting and questioning my faith. That's when I stopped going there because I have doubted too many times. It was too hard for me. I felt like I gave up everything." He told the young priest with a sad tone in his voice, and faced down.

The young priest then turned around, looking at his friend facing down sadly. He walked and sat on the left side of the bench, now the two on opposite sides.

"Life is hard as everyone thinks, friend. Especially when you lost someone who you really love as part of your family." The young priest told him and the young man nodded.

"Yet...you shouldn't be doubting yourself a lot. Doubt kills more faith than failure itself. But that doesn't mean that's the end. You can still recover that as soon as possible. Having faith is like a tough shield that can protect you from darts. Tough times don't last but tough people do. The world needs tough people like us." The young priest told him.

"Tough people, even being beaten so hard that they can't even get up, they find ways to stand with their own two feet." He added.

The young man stood silent and thought deeply about what the young priest said. That was all he started thinking about, until he heard a child's voice calling the young priest.

"Excuse me...Yoongi?"

The two young men turned and looked at a poor young, dark-haired boy, seeming the age of seven--standing at the entrance of the chapel.

"Oh, you can come in, my friend." Yoongi motioned the little boy to approach him.

Yoongi then patted at the young man's shoulder, telling him to excuse him for a moment. And the young man nodded.

The little boy walked down the aisle and Yoongi crouched down to his level.

As he approached Yoongi, Yoongi placed his hand on the little boy's shoulder.

"Is it something you need, little friend?" Yoongi asked.

"My father is feeling sick today. Please pray for my dad so he can get better. I know that God can heal my dad." The little boy responded.

Yoongi grinned at the little boy, "May God bless you with your faith, my friend."

He stood up, leading the boy a bit close to the altar. He then picked a bottle of olive oil, dipped it in his finger and anointed the little boy by touching his forehead.

"I am doing this for your father, because always remember that God knows no distance when it comes to healing." Yoongi told him.

"Yes, Yoongi. I do believe it. God can heal my dad while I'm here." The little boy determined.

"Amen to that, my friend. Now let's pray." Yoongi told him.

As Yoongi placed his hand on the little boy's head, bowed their heads down together and started praying--the young man observed and listened to everything of what the little boy had said.

The young man seemed to be very moved by the little boy's pure faith. How come himself would doubt anything, while this kid has nothing to doubt with?

It kinda hurts him from the inside but somewhat it pushes him to recover his faith. Seeing the little boy praying with Yoongi even moved him to small tears.

Once Yoongi with the little boy finished praying together, they shared a hug and the little boy thanked him.

"You're welcome, my friend. And God bless you." Yoongi smiled.

"You too, Yoongi. You keep doing the work your late grandfather left behind for you." The little boy encouraged Yoongi.

Yoongi smiled and nodded at him. The little boy waved at Yoongi with his friend sitting on the bench as a goodbye, and walked out from the chapel.

Yoongi then sat back where he sat before with his "future" friend.

"Children are so pure in this world, don't you think?" He smiled at his friend.

The young man nodded and mumbled, "Yeah."

Small tears brimmed around his eyes, and Yoongi noticed it. Yoongi then placed his hand on the young man's shoulder, as a reassurance.

"You're all right?" Yoongi asked him.

The young man let out a deep sigh, trying to control the emotions running inside of him this time.

"I feel very touched by that little boy's faith." He spoke to Yoongi, fighting his small tears back.

Yoongi nodded as he let his friend keep speaking up.

"I was certain that this boy did not come here casually. He came here for a purpose. He came here to pray for his sick father to get healed. I think I know why I came here for a reason. Restore my faith. That's all I need." The young man spoke out his need for his soul.

Yoongi nodded and calmly advised him, "Restoring your faith may take time, but don't worry. Your faith will be restored by God himself but you have to do your part as well."

The young man nodded, agreeing with a smile.

"The name's Yoongi, friend." Yoongi introduced himself, offering the young man a handshake.

The young man then introduced himself and accepted the handshake, "Jung Hoseok. And thanks for taking your time to chat with me."

Hoseok then stood up and nearly walked out from his spot on the front row bench--until Yoongi stopped him.

"Wait."

Hoseok stopped walking and turned around to Yoongi.

"Don't you...have a shelter to live in?" Yoongi asked.

Hoseok deeply sighed through his nostrils. He then slowly shook his head and admitted with a glum look on his face, "No."

"Well, since I live here, I've got plenty of room by the corner." Yoongi pointed at the right door corner, a room where he does his daily and nightly routine.

Even sleeping.

"You can live here if you like." Yoongi offered him.

Hoseok felt touched by how much the young priest cared for the people in need. Of course he might need some shelter, how could he not be grateful to Yoongi.

So Hoseok accepted the offer, deciding to stay and thanked Yoongi.

"I'm very grateful." He smiled.

"You know...my grandfather and my parents taught me that we have to be good with strangers, even when we help them." Yoongi smiled, while Hoseok approached him.

"I'm sure your grandfather is proud up there." Hoseok smiled and they walked together for Yoongi to show him his own room.

"Oh I know he is always." Yoongi nodded with a smile and they ended up chuckling.

Yoongi then opened the door and Hoseok entered to see the room he will share with.

Nora's POV

My feet were standing on the rooftop's base, my back to the railing, enjoying the breathtaking view of the town. 20 feet below me but it's nothing, since I have confronted my fear of heights back in my 7-year long self-training.

Yet that doesn't mean I'm not afraid anymore. It can be bone-chilling at first, but I'll always be the winner at the end.

I leaned out, my arms straightening...and I looked down, since Rain and the brown stallion named Rusty, are watching me up there. I flashed a grin at them before looking back up straight.

My long, forest green dress and my dark brown hair are slowly lifted by the wind. The only thing I could hear was the wind hissing.

The view of the town from here looked extraordinarily beautiful. Even the faded, faraway mountain and hills all the way back, like a background for the town. I feel as if I was flying on air and looking down. Well, I wasn't actually up in the sky but it felt awesome having that view.

Yet I heard a male voice behind me, "Don't do it."

I turned my head to glance at him, with a puzzled look on my face. Well, I wasn't gonna do anything really.

"Don't do what? I'm not doing anything really. Besides, I'm not actually going to jump off. I mean, that would be insane." I told him.

However, that young man seems very familiar to me. Seems like he's that young man I caught him staring at me two days ago at the farm.

Just remembering and realizing about it...makes my heart go butterflies again like last time.

I glanced at him back again, and he slightly looked embarrassed.

His eyes look so innocent, yet his facial features show his handsomeness in full bloom.

"I'm sorry...I guess I have been mistaken." He apologized.

I smiled and reassured him, "No need to apologize. Oneself would imagine standing on a peak of the mountain and there's no one around."

"I can imagine that. Yet...it's kinda...terrifying because one might not find a way to come down to the ground." He spoke.

I began to think about what he said. It looks like a piece of cake when it comes to climbing up. Yet... it's difficult and scary to come back down. It is since I still have fear of heights but not worse than before.

"You're right." I blurted and looked back to the view.

A smile crept into my lips, while watching the beautiful view of the faded, silhouetted hill and mountains behind the town here.

"Doesn't it look nice seeing the mountains and hills behind this town? The mist right at the distance makes it even more beautiful. You just wanna stare and capture it with your eyes. And when you go back home...the only thing that comes into your thoughts is the view you and I are watching." I told him while staring at the view.

I sensed that he approached me from behind; when I turned my head and looked at him...he rested his elbow on the railing, resting his cheek on the palm of his hand. His beauty just radiated even more.

"How does it feel to be the most beautiful woman in this place?" He asked with a sweet smile on his face.

That question from him just made my heart go into butterflies.

Instead of being shy and embarrassed, I stifled a chuckle and asked him back teasingly, "Why would you ask? No doubt that you are the most beautiful man in this place as well."

I could see the pink tint blooming in his cheeks. He just got so shy to answer my question. I found him so adorable when he gets shy! I am not going to lie, but seeing him blush makes me blush along too!

"Smart payback, eh?" He shyly smirked.

I softly chuckled, totally satisfied with what I asked him of. For real, his beauty is so ethereal. Guess that we're kind of similar. When we are complimented by each other or someone else...we get shy.

"Anyways, if you want to get back in now, I can help you out...if you want me to." The young man offered me some help. And he reached his hand towards me.

Taehyung's POV

It's a very good thing that I've been playing this off. I hope she accepts to take my hand, otherwise I would be so ridiculed for the next Lovers' Day.

Well, any day could be Lovers' Day for any couple.

So I know that my first meeting with her will end up smoothly that I expected.

I saw that she unfastened her hand from the rail and took my hand. Her hands look so delicate and soft, beautifully crafted by the Heavens itself. It looked so fragile in front of my eyes. I took her hand gently, and she turned around, now facing me.

When I looked up right at her eyes...oh, my goodness...they were the most rare yet the most beautiful I have ever seen!

It was a mix of blue and green together. And her eyes resembled the rippling ocean when it's at night.

Her eyes were definitely like the ocean, and I could swim in them all day!

That beautiful color of her eyes just enraptured me and my senses. She's out of this world!

Oh angels, hold me before I pass out of just seeing her eyes! They look so irresistible! She's like a perfect illusion! Be still, my heart, be still!

My breath has been completely taken away. My heart started to pound hard and faster. My mind was in a fuzz by just staring at her bluish-green eyes.

Before I might fall into a deeper trance and possibly a mouth-to-mouth resuscitation from her, I composed then introduced myself, "I'm Taehyung. Kim Taehyung."

"Nora Kemp." She shyly smiled while introducing herself back.

That's a beautiful name as I thought!

"I'm not gonna lie, your name definitely fits your beauty." I complimented her with a sweet smile.

She lets out a soft chuckle, which sounds so cute and contagious because I chuckled as well!

"Oh, please don't say that. I'm not that perfect." Nora shook her head shyly.

I totally appreciate her honesty, but I just wanted her to feel like she's the only girl in my world.

"That's what you think. Yet when I look into your eyes, I see a very kind soul worthy to my eyes." I complimented her with a smile on my face.

Her bluish-green eyes looked back right into my eyes again. She looks so divine; I could sense that she was gazing right into my soul. I can't help myself but mentally gush over at her!

"Thank you." She smiled sweetly; I noticed the faint blush creeping into her cheeks.

I smiled back at her. I then took her other hand, wanting to help her to get back in.

"I'll help you out." I told her and she nodded.

She climbed over the railing and just as she stepped up to the top railing, she leaped down.

She then turned around as she was about to look down. I was curious what she's looking down at. So I looked down along and there was the black mare with Rusty.

"I believe that brown horse is yours, right?" She hinted.

I nodded and said, "Yeah. His name is Rusty. Thought I lost him, but...guess he found some good company."

I then chuckled while we were looking down at our horses. "I was about to scold my pet horse for leaving without telling me but...I'll just let it pass." I shrugged my shoulders.

She gently chuckled and told him, "I don't think your pet horse deserves any kind of scolding from you. I mean, I see that he had done nothing wrong."

"Yeah. Maybe Rusty was just looking for a friend." I agreed with her.

She nodded with a smile as well.

"Anyways, this is my black mare Rain. I found her abandoned in the countryside seven years ago. So I adopted her right after I found her." She pointed at her black mare down, next to my brown stallion.

My heart slowly sank when hearing about the black mare's sad story. Yet I was relieved to know that Nora found and now is taking care of her.

It reminds me when seven years ago, I found an abandoned foal (a baby Rusty) in a wooden box.

It was a rainy day and I had to hurry home after playing games with Jimin and his younger brother.

Meters away from my farm, I found that young brown foal and took him to the barn to keep him warm.

I can still remember my mom coming into the barn, a bit worried of where I was at that time. Yet when she saw me taking care of the foal, being wrapped around a blanket, she smiled at me.

"Maybe you should keep him, Taehyung." She told me.

"I will, mom. I will do everything to take care of him." I told her.

Four years after I found Rusty, my family and I adopted a small, black and tawny fluffy Pomeranian puppy. Yeah, it was Tan because I named him. When I introduced my puppy to Rusty, they just formed a special bond by Tan placing his tiny paw on Rusty's face. And Rusty lets him caress his face.

Tan and Rusty are the best animal buddies ever since they first met.

Me remembering those times just made me smile. So I began to tell Nora how I found Rusty.

"I found Rusty when he was a foal. He was abandoned in a wooden box. I can still remember that it was raining at that time. It was after I spent time playing with my best friend and his younger brother at their house. Luckily, it wasn't far away from where I live. So I took him to the barn and started taking care of him. And now...look at him. Healthy and strong-looking stallion."

I glanced at Nora, a smile creeping into her lips. And the smile still plastered on my face.

"Anyways, who's that little girl who helped me to feed my black mare? Is she related to you?" She asked out of curiosity.

I remember when Elle told me about the black mare two days ago. She helped Nora to feed the black mare.

And that was right before I was captured by Nora's beauty.

"That's my younger sister." I responded.

"Really?"

I nodded and explained about her, "She was actually adopted by my mom; she was a baby at that time. I don't know what happened to her parents but it seems like they have disappeared or died."

"Oh my. I didn't know she's your adopted sister. Besides...I hope she's alright." Nora spoke.

I hope so too. Telling my younger sister about her late parents when she was a baby...gosh, it's just too much that my heart could easily break. Besides, I never wanted to tell that to her. I wanted Elle to be happy without any worries.

"I hope so too." I blurted out.

"Anyways, since you said you live on a farm...I live in a small valley." Nora told me.

"It's completely different from here. The only standing in the valley is my house with the well next to it. Nothing else but...I'm fine with that." She continued; I was honestly surprised but somehow felt...pity of living all by herself.

At least she has Rain with her. But somehow...I felt the urge of wanting her to join me to come over Jimin's house, along Jungkook. I'm not sure if I should tell her this but I'll go for it just to get over.

"I'm coming over to my friend's house later, so...I was wondering if you can join me along to come over. If you want to. I won't mind if you couldn't." I offered her.

Nora glanced at me and seemingly thought about it. I was just hoping she would but I would be also ok if she can't, because...well, I can meet her almost every day. Yet, I heard her response.

"I would like to join you." She smiled sweetly.

I then smiled at her in return, surprised yet also happy that she is going with me.

"Great. I have another friend who's coming along as well too, so--"

"Hey, Taehyung! I found you up there!" I heard Jungkook calling from down here.

Nora and I looked down and saw him  standing between Rain and Rusty. With his adorable bunny smile on his face. I smiled and waved at him.

"Is that him you're referring to?" Nora asked, letting out a soft chuckle.

"Yeah." I nodded then turned to Jungkook, "I'm coming right down there!"

I climbed and stepped on the rooftop, about to leap off to the ground. It doesn't look too high since it's about two feet above from our horses' heads. So I leaped and landed safely on the ground.

I turned around and saw Nora standing up on the edge of the rooftop. She leaped off from the rooftop and...I caught her in my arms. She might not know it was my intention to help her out. Seemingly she was impressed by my actions towards her and we softly chuckled together.

Narrator's POV

A white dove was sitting on the windowsill. It was observing the people doing their own things in the town. Selling and shopping in town markets, sitting, eating, drinking, and chatting and laughing.

Its head turned side to side, and casually let out its coos.

Suddenly, it saw a hand from a young man hold a small bowl of seeds to feed. And it stepped away a bit.

It then heard its owner's voice, "Here you go, little guy."

The white dove cooed at him as a thank you and started eating the seeds. The young man smiled and started petting the dove gently with his two fingers.

Then he heard his father calling, "Seokjin!"

"I'm coming, father!" Seokjin called back; he pointed at his shoulder, telling the dove to sit on his shoulder.

He then turned back, leaning his back against the wall. The dove then leaped off from the windowsill to Seokjin's shoulder. It cooed again and Seokjin walked out from his room to his father.

"What is it?" Seokjin asked his father as he walked into the main room, where his father treats the patients.

Seokjin spotted a homeless man laying on the floor, getting patched by his father. The patient seemed elderly by his wrinkly appearance. He felt pity for the poor homeless man. His father already patched the man's leg; now his father was patching his arm as well.

"Do you need some help, father?" Seokjin offered him help as he approached his father.

"Can you please make some herbal tea for him? Just to make him feel a bit better." His father suggested it to him.

Seokjin nodded and walked towards the cabinet on the back wall of the main room, finding a knife to cut some herbs off from the garden in the backyard. He spotted it as he carefully picked a knife, and walked out to the garden.

As he walked out from the garden, he spotted the grown herbs in front of the back home. He grabbed a handful of herbs and cut them off by the stems.

He heard his white dove cooing on his shoulder, maybe asking him of what he was cutting herbs for.

"This is for the tea I'm going to make for the patient to make him feel a bit better. Well, in case there's any pain in his body." Seokjin replied as he pulled out a string to tie around the herbs he cut off from the ground.

He then made a knot to keep them together and tied up. "There."

He picked it up and walked to the kitchen. He spotted a huge bowl of water, approached it and started washing the herbs to take the dirty soil off. Moments after, he dried them off with a towel and went outside again to make a fire pit under the pot. filled with water to boil some tea.

He used a piece of carbon steel and a rock to start the fire. He started scraping the tools against each other's surfaces, until sparks struck out and flames began to engulf in the wooden logs. He then placed the pot on the fiery pit, now waiting for the water to slightly boil.

As the water began to boil, he put the herbs into the boiling pot and used a wooden spoon to stir it up.

While stirring it, the aroma from the herbs began floating around his nose. It smelled like chamomile with oregano with a hint of mint. He kept stirring for a moment, until he scooped just a bit of the tea as a taste test.

He blew the hot liquid to cool it off a bit, then sipped it from the spoon. He lets the taste of the tea absorb his taste buds, and when it tasted perfect as he thought, he took the pot out from the fire pit into the kitchen.

He picked another bowl, scooped the water from where he washed the herbs and put out the fire, resulting in silver smoke floating on air.

He then found a cup in the kitchen cabinet, and carefully poured the hot tea in it. As he got the tea ready for the patient, he walked to the main room.

His father was still looking after the homeless patient and when he heard Seokjin calling him, he turned around. He spotted Seokjin holding the cup of tea in his hands and smiled at him.

Seokjin smiled in response, then turned to the elderly patient. He crouched down at the elder's current level and offered him the cup of herbal tea.

"Here's the tea I made from scratch. I hope it gives you some relief. Be careful, it's very hot." Seokjin gave the male elder the cup.

The elder patient carefully held the cup, yet Seokjin's father helped him to hold the cup properly.

The patient blew the steam away from the tea, took a sip of the tea and then, he let out a deep sigh. The tea made him feel relaxed and less painful.

"Feeling a bit better?" Seokjin's father asked the patient.

"I feel a bit more relieved than I was before."

This made Seokjin feel happy, giving comfort and hospitality to the patients who are needed.

"Thank you, Seokjin." His father thanked him.

Yet his father spotted Seokjin a bit sweaty, since his face slightly glistened under the dim sunlight and his fringe looked a bit damp.

"You look a bit soaked, son." He spoke out with a hint of concern.

Yet Seokjin shook his head and reassured him with, "It's fine. I did this because I want to help people like you, dad."

His dad felt proud of Seokjin's words and side hugged him, before they went back to help the patient to drink the herbal tea.
