Ash

I am currently at the airport with waiting for the plane with discharged soldiers to land. So far, I don't see anyone else here that I recognize. I got a phone call from Dax telling me she was coming home today. She is finally coming home after two years. I landed in America yesterday and their plane is landing soon.

The plane lands and they get set up for the soldiers to come out. Myself along with a bunch of other people head out to the platform. The soldiers are already standing in a grid formation by the time we go out and I can smell the ocean and coconut. I walk fast towards the scent to already see four people standing around her. Who are these guys? She looks up and her eyes meet with mine, I smile at her, but she just looks back down. What happened to her over these last two years?

"Braelynn? Are you okay?" An older man asks. Who the hell is Braelynn? I still can't see any of the faces of the people surrounding her.

"I'm okay Dad. Can we just go home?" She replies, looking at her feet. Her dad is here? I wonder what Alpha he is. Maybe Clark?

"Of course," her father responds.

"Can we come with you Noctis?" Another man around our age wonders.

Noctis nods and they start walking away. What about me?

"Noctis," I call out. She stops walking and slowly turns around to face me, not meeting my eyes.

"Not now Ash," she whispers and turns back to walk away with the group of four.

I can't even begin to describe how hurt I feel right now. Why isn't she talking with me? Who are these other people with her. I walk out, following them to get to my car. I try to get a look at her dad so I know what pack they are at. Noctis hops in the front seat of a nice car and her dad walks around the hood. He looks up at me and to say I am shocked would be an understatement. Her dad is the Alpha King?

Riggs (Alpha King)

I was so devastated when I heard that Braelynn was taken by those rogues and there was nothing I could do. For two years, I was losing hope of ever seeing her again. I got the phone call yesterday that they have found her and are bringing her home. I was over the moon; however, nothing could have prepared me for what she is like now. Myself, Grey, Tobias and Xander came. Cali had to stay home since she is giving birth soon to her first child. We walked up to Braelynn and she just kept her head down and wouldn't let any of us touch her. She had scars on her face now and I don't even want to know how many other scars she has.

She looks up once to something behind us before looking back down. I ask if she is okay and she tells me she is fine, but I know she isn't okay. She just wants to go home and we start walking in the direction of the parking lot. A man calls her name and she turns around without lifting her head.

"Not now Ash," she whispers before walking with us once again.

Who is Ash? Why is he here? Once we get to the car, I open the door for Braelynn and she sits. I close the door and look at the man named Ash who looks at me surprised. I take one last good look at him before getting into the car and driving home.

Tobias

What happened to my strong, confident Noctis? What happened over there? And who the hell is this Ash dude. I am following behind the King in my car with Xander in the passenger seat.

"What do you think happened to her?" Xander wonders.

"Those rogues. They must have done something. What I want to know is how she got away after two years. No one heard about where the rogues were and there was no more attacks once she was caught. These rogue attacks will probably start again."

"What I want to know is why they didn't kill her. I am glad they didn't, don't get me wrong, but all they wanted was for her to die so she wasn't a block in their plan anymore," Xander brings up a good point.

"You're right. Maybe her platoon will know something, we just need to get ahold of their number somehow."

"Agreed."

We sit in silence for the rest of the ride. She just seems so emotionless right now. She isn't angry, sad, or scared...just nothing.

Dax

We were all at the base in France because we got word that the rogue camp might be there. We were out in the woods searching for any clues when we all got ahold of her scent. We all ran our fastest and when we saw her, we all stopped dead in our tracks.

Noctis was sitting down with her back against a tree and her knees brought up to her chest and her head was down. She was covered in blood and we all started panicking, thinking that she was badly hurt. I tried to calm myself by taking a deep breath and that was when it hit me. That wasn't her blood. That was a mixture of blood from over two hundred wolves.

I stopped Silas and Kai from running up to her and they looked at me weird. I tapped on my nose and they both took a deep breath before they scrunched up their noses in disgust. Their eyes went wide as they realized where the scent was coming from.

"Noctis?" I said calmly from where I was standing, about fifteen feet away from her.

Her head lifted up from her knees and she rested it against the tree. "Dax?"

"Hey, it's me. Can we help you?" I cautiously asked.

"Yeah," she said, her voice raspy.

We slowly walked over to her and I went to help her up but her eyes widened as I reached out. I pulled my hand back and crouched down to her level.

"Can you stand up?" I asked and she nodded

She stood up, looking a little uneasy on her feet. Once she gained her balance, we lead her back to the base. Once there, we immediately brought her to the medical tent and I went to the higher ups tent.

"Sergeant Major Jones!" I shouted. He came here a month ago to help with finding Noctis.

"Dax, why are you shouting?" He wondered.

"We found her," I told him.

I took him to the medical tent and then to where she was laying down on a cot. He was surprised to see her here and even more surprised to see the blood she is covered in. The doc came over to where we were standing.

"She doesn't have any physical harm. She seems to be a little dehydrated and malnourished. She came head home on the flight that leaves tonight."

The doc left and I walked closer to Noctis, being sure I didn't touch her. "Noctis, why don't you go take a shower and get changed?"

She nodded and stood up. I guided her to a shower and left a uniform in her size just inside the door.

"What happened?" Sergeant Major Jones asked.

"We aren't sure sir. We just found her like that," I replied.

He nodded and then headed out to tell the pilot that there was another soldier going back. I waited for Noctis to come out of the shower for thirty minutes and she walked over to me.

"Do you want to talk about it?" I asked.

"No," she replied sternly.

I nodded, respecting her wishes. "The plane will leave soon, so you better head out. I will see you when I get home."

"Okay."

She walked over to the runway to board the plane. She wasn't speaking to anyone on her way there. Hopefully Ash can help with this. I pulled out my phone and called him as I know the Sergeant Major will call Tobias, Xander and her dad.

"Hello?" Ash picked up the phone.

"Ash, it's Dax."

"What's up Dax?" He asked with a tired tone of voice.

"We found her."

"You better not be shitting with me Dax or I swear to the Moon Goddess I will..." I cut him off.

"I'm not joking Ash, she is on her way home."

"I am leaving on the next flight out of England. Thank you so much Dax!" Ash squealed.

"Listen Ash, she isn't the same as before. You have to help her. Promise me you will help her."

"Of course I will Dax, she is my mate. How is she different?"

"I can't explain it, you will see it when you see her. I have to go, bye."

"Bye."

I hung up the phone. Please help her Ash.

She will be okay. She has to be, Luca, my vampire, told me.

I know. She has to get better.
