All Loki could do was cry. He lost everything. But his mind quickly changed when he felt a hand on the back of his head. He looked up to see his parents not as bears, but as themselves again. Loki hugged them both while Frigga covered him in kisses. Thor ran forward to also hug his parents. He hasn't seen them in two days now since the Lords and their daughters arrived. That's when Loki realised that not only were his parents back but they were also naked. Thankfully, they were covered by the tapestry. Thor and Loki told the Lords to look away to show some respect for the King and Queen. They did. They all went home where the two got dressed. And where the Lords said goodbyes and went back to their homes. When they left, Odin and Loki watched the boats on the horizon. There are those who say fate is something beyond our command, that destiny is not our own. But Loki knows better. Our fate lives within us. You only have to be brave enough to see it.
