Thirty Five
A bit of smut in this chapter, don't say u weren't warned :-D
Two days later
Harry's POV
I am so tired. I am exhausted. I am worn out. The new expansions for my hotel company have me absolutely dead. I don't know how many hours it's been since I slept.
I miss Poppy. Thankfully she'll be back from her charity event in a couple of hours, and I'll be able to see the face that I adore.
Smiling to myself, I continue to file tons of paperwork. After a thirty minute phone call with one of my business partners, I hear my door open.
"Yes?" I drag out, not looking up from my stacks of paper. After waiting a couple seconds for a reply, annoyance plasters across my face when I look up, Karla standing there like a deer in headlights. "What?"
"There's someone here for you, says her name is Emily?" Karla splutters, her fingers fiddling with each other. My eyes instantly widen, although my body reacts differently. I feel angry? What could she possibly want? She knows Poppy will destroy her for even stepping near me.
"Karla, do you know which Emily?" I grit my teeth, I do not have time for this.
"Y-yes, I tried to tell her to leave! I even told her Poppy would be coming but she-"
I close my eyes, placing a finger up to silence her. "Karla, I will handle this," I breathe out, standing up quickly and making my way to the lobby.
Jesus, nobody can let me do my work for one-
"Harry!"
The sound of an annoying leech makes my ears want to bleed. I'm already annoyed enough, I don't need a pestering girl to bug me right now. Especially one that my girlfriend despises.
I turn around slowly, to be met by a beaming Emily, eyes bright and smile wide. She stands there, a folder in her freshly manicured hands.
"What, Emily?"
Her smile drops. "Can I not visit my favorite business man?" She giggles, boring her brown eyes into mine.
With a straight face, I look at her. "No."
Emily furrows her eyebrows. "I just came to ask for your opinion on my essay, it's for a summer class I'm taking."
Does this girl really think I have time to look over a high school essay? Whatever drug she's on, I'd like some.
"You must be forgetting my girlfriend hates your guts," I deadpan, my eyebrows furrowing.
She just smiles, taking a couple steps closer. I narrow my eyes. "Poppy won't have to find out."
"I-"
Before I can answer, an angel is sent to save me, although this angel doesn't seem to be so happy..
"I won't have to find out what?"
Oh no..
There a very annoyed Poppy stands, practically fuming in anger. Although I know she's about to kill me, she looks so damn cute in that baby pink dre-
"Harold Edward Styles," she growls, making me jump in fear. I gulp. "What the fuck is going on?!"
"Oh I was just asking Harry for a favor," Emily suddenly pipes up, smirking at a very pissed off Poppy. Emily, you are walking down a dangerous path.
I'm scared for what will happen next. Before I can even think about what kind of funeral Emily will have, Poppy steps right in front of her. "What favor could you possibly want from my boyfriend?" She hisses. My eyes widen.
"I-i just," Emily stammers out, looking to me for help. I just bite my tongue, knowing damn well she walked right into a trap.
"You just what?" Poppy growls menacingly, stepping one step closer. People begin to turn, watching the scene unfold. I look around worriedly.
"Poppy, not now it's-"
"No, let her finish."
Oh no, this is not going to end well. What do I do?!?
"Poppy, she just waltzed in here and asked me to look at her essay, nothing else!" I try to reason, so that Poppy doesn't get herself into something she'll regret. Although not very many people are here, she's making a scene.
She sends me a deadly, menacing glare. My throat dries up. After looking at me for a split second, she diverts her gaze back to Emily's "You've got some nerve, boo, I'm going to let you off the hook this time since I have things to do with Harry, my boyfriend, but the next time I see you near him, I will ruin you."
Although I expect Emily to scamper off in fear, she surprises me by standing still, her face relaxing. "I thought you two broke up."
Shock is shown on Poppy's face for a moment, Emily smirking. Before she can say anything, Poppy swipes her silky hair off of her shoulder with a grin, "You thought wrong, and even if we weren't together, you wouldn't stand a chance."
Emily merely rolls her eyes, pushing her way past Poppy and stepping in front of me, forcefully placing the file in my hand. I look down at it, not knowing what to do. Do I throw it?
"Bitch?" Poppy gasps, yanking the file out of my hands before completely stunning me with her actions. Standing right in front of Emily, she forcefully grabs the papers out of the folder and rips them in half.
She did that.
"What the hell!" Emily screeches, diving for the now ripped up paper. Poppy just stands there, re adjusting her handbag before softly grabbing my hand and kissing my cheek, walking us away.
After a couple of steps, Poppy comes to a halt, turning to look at Emily. "Don't try me again, this is your final warning."
And with that, the only sound heard is Emily's screeching and Poppy's louboutins clicking against the floor.

3rd person
"I love you," Poppy whispers against Harry's lips, eagerly reaching up to remove his tie. He smiles against her lips, pulling her already half naked body closer to his. Thankfully his office chair is heavy duty, and can hold the very eager pair with no trouble.
"I love you more," he breathes out, allowing Poppy to remove more layers of clothing feverishly as he grabs a handful of her ass. She moans into his mouth, desperately grinding her hips onto him. This makes him groan.
"Mm," she mumbles, Harry kissing her neck hotly, licking and sucking on her sweet spot.
Pulling him back gently, her lust filled eyes stare into his darkened, dilated pupils, "mine," she whispers, before reaching down and unbuckling his pants.
"Always," he replies, pushing her underwear to the side.
--
"I can't believe you ripped the paper in half," Harry chuckles, pulling Poppy's body closer to his. They're laying in Harry's bed, it's around 3 am, and they've been up all night mindlessly talking about anything and everything.
"I just.. lashed out," she giggles, running a hand through his soft curls.
"It's okay." Harry strokes her baby soft face lovingly, adoring every part of her, even her bratty nature.
The two of them feel so complete, like a puzzle. They've both been missing some pieces, but with each other, the pieces connect.
Harry's life revolved around work. Sure there'd been relationships and flings before Poppy, but nobody stole his heart the way Poppy did. She waltzed right into his life, running away with his soul. Not instantly, of course, since they hated each other at first. But as the days went on, and the feelings grew deeper, the two of them couldn't help but merge together.
