"What are you doing, you stupid ice wizard?!" Mario whispered angrily.

David whispered back, "Hiding from Zaro, same as you."

"You didn't need to follow me! Now get outta here before I kick your butt so hard, you'll go flying all the way to the Protectors' base!"

"Hey now, language, dragon slayer. Now shut up or Zaro will find both of us and then he'll let Ritchie win. And there's no way we're letting the lighting wizard win."

Mario sighed and permitted David to squeeze in next to him under the table. The shirtless ice wizard didn't hesitate to cuddle up next to the temperamental earth dragon slayer.

Mario narrowed his eyes. "What are you doing?"

David grinned. "What? I'm cold."

"You are an ice devil slayer. You don't get cold."

"I don't really care."

David started pulling off his jacket. Mario's face warmed and his palms started getting sweaty.

"David, what are..."

The now completely shirtless wizard started getting a little too close for comfort. He was practically hugging Mario now and his face was still cracked in a grin.

"Hey, we're alone and unless Zaro pulls the tablecloth up right now, we'll be uninterrupted. This is too perfect of an opportunity to pass up."

The earth wizard was starting to get excited. As annoying as David was, he was rather good looking and in good shape...

Before David got too personal however, Blayz called, "MARIO! DAVID! WHERE THE HECK ARE YOU TWO! The game's over!"

David frowned, put his jacket back on and the two crawled out from under the table in silence.

David sat crouched on the edge of the shore. He absently mindedly froze some of the water by mistake. He didn't notice and didn't care. His mind was on Mario.

He had been crushing on the earth dragon slayer for some time now. After all, Mario was smart, handsome, loyal, and reliable. Who wouldn't like him? Well, he could be a little harsh at times, but that was just him trying to push his friends to do better....right?

David sighed and threw a stone into the lake. It clattered on the ice he had made. He shook his head, got up and started for the guild hall. 

(Well, I tried. Pretty sloppy and more than a little steamy, but I tried. David and Mario are not cute though. Hope you guys enjoyed! Love ya guys! Molly out!)
