BrainChild Pt.2
Elley almost screamed, but she covered her mouth tightly with her hand so she wouldn't do so. She quickly jumped out of her bed, still covering her mouth to prevent from screaming, and looked out of her wide window. The night was dark and still. Elley didn't hear a sound, not even a cricket. She also didn't see any zombies lurking around (Which was a relief.) She finally removed her hand from her mouth, and suddenly, she found herself opening her wide, black curtained, window.
"What are you doing Elley?!?! Stop now!" she shouted in her mind.
"Even though it is too quiet, you can't go out now!" Her actions and her just weren't working that well together tonight. They decided to fight each other she guessed.
The only thing Elley had on was her anime covered pajamas and hot pink & black polk-a-dotted socks.
"Can I at least have shoes on!?" she whispered to her body and mind.
Elley got down from trying to open her window and found her black & grey anime converse (Take note that all of these anime things are because I LOVE anime!) She then got up to the window, finally opened it, then quietly climbed through it and landed her feet softly on the mild green grass that glowed in the moonlight. She bolted straight downtown to see what was going on, since she though that the source of the problem came from there.
Once Elley got downtown, she saw that all of the lights were out and there were no moving cars on the street like usual. It was quite peculiar - she had never in her life seen anything like this. Elley stared looking around and realized.........there was only one light coming from a tall, dark blue and silver logoed building. The light was coming all the way from the second to top floor. Elley read the logo that was shining in the dim, but still very lit, moonlight and it read Liberty Labs. From all the times that Elley had been downtown with her family, she had never NEVER seen this building. The weird thing is......Elley felt like she had seen and heard of this building. Like she knew it all too well for her own good. Elley heard a grunt coming from the alley way next to the building. That's when she knew for good that something was definitely wrong.
