Dear Michael,

Today is my birthday, and honestly, I'm not as excited as I should be.

My parents work tonight, my friends ditched me for a party, and my brothers are all at their friends' house.

Talk about a good party huh?

I just went to a nearby cafe and had a coffee with a slice of cake. It wasn't special at all. In fact, I felt a little lonely because no one was there to celebrate it with me.

I wish I had friends who didn't ditch me for parties and a family who would at least try to do something for my birthday.

Oh well, happy 19th birthday to me I guess.
