        THERE ARE WEIRDER THINGS AFOOT: they are for you and me to see, they are for our youth to understand and believe. But these things to not belong here. They never will belong in our society, in the world of Christ our savior: they are not for us to see.
We will ignore. Yes, let's ignore the bloodshed around us or the beast that lurks in the woods, we will ignore these WEIRDER THINGS and come forward to our lies. But the truth will be revealed in tiny pieces.

There is no truth that hurts more than the ones that we keep so far away into our boxes, tucked inside by our cramped shelves of deception and fear that will mask the truths we hide.
In this small town: where the hospitality is as bad as it can get, or as Midwestern as it could, and a conservatives dream world. But WEIRDER THINGS, will arise in this small town with smaller minded adults━━and smaller children, smaller dreams, and smaller families; within them lies & deception follow the youth we fight so hard to protect. But do we do the best for them? Do those parents love their children unconditionally without a blink of an eye if how the public will view them? Or what may "go against" what Christ states in that big black book scribbled with unwanted translations and lies to spread hate instead of spreading love that was in those pages? No. They do not. And they never will.

Maybe some will. But those parents are the ones fighting to struggle to pass rent, the white fridges in their homes lingers with emptiness sometimes, and may those children inside starve some nights or find other ways to get by while a parent works hard. Or getting a GED to hopefully get higher paying jobs━━but sometimes our hardest isn't enough.
Or is it?

We may never know until we get there.

(A man named Francis has gotten there.)

In 1954: it is built. Inside the WINTERSET NATIONAL LABORATORY the townsfolk may not know what goes on but it begins. People who are not truly you, parallel universes on a thin line, children that can and will kill and maybe true eldritch creatures that drive the strongest minds of men to madness. And soon, everyone will know of the WEIRDER THINGS that are becoming more of us than we fail to realize.
The WEIRDER THINGS that are deep inside of our universe but no one will find them━━they are scared of finding them. Those things will come true because of Doctor Francis Moriatry, a man who wants power━━he will get this power at some point; to an extent he will get what he wants. All he wanted was power over people, for people to look up at him and only him because of what he finds. Which is not what he deserves but what he wants. Because the Bad Guys will never get a taste of their medicine, even if they truly deserve to suffer for the rest of time, they will never get it. Those Bad Guys only butcher those who are weaker than them; physically and mentally.

In 1976: it is time for it to be released. It will come. Dr Moriatry has made contact━━and now it will change. All of it will feel it's wrath. There will be WEIRDER THINGS happening here. It will be released and feast. And one child has power to make that contact. (FRANCIS: It will come. Do not hide, my sweet child. We will take over the world━━now that it is here.)

November 8th, 1995
WINTERSET - IOWA

The Beast lurks in the wilderness, now free from the barricade that captured it in-between worlds. It is here. It will feast on the blood of people in Winterset, insatiable hunger will follow. The mouth of it drools as it has starved for too long━━It will feed on the youth of the unfortunate. Of the poor, of the abused, of the weak minded and of the vulnerable. It will multiply as more are produced, the beast is the simply of scout of this plan. It feeds, and feeds, and feeds...
until....

....a young boy goes missing, a test subject escapes captivity, teens are disappearing in their beds, things are wearing the face of townspeople, and an interdimensional monster is let loose to feast. Soon they will know that; WEIRDER THINGS are real.

And all a mother wants is her son back. She will do anything to get her boy back.

AUTHORS NOTES.

🪬  Well, well.....this is the final remaster of Weirder Things and we're keeping this one! I promise! I honestly think abt this fic everyday and always feel so bad for taking it down once I get everyone hype for it 😞 because I, myself, am tired of the constant non commitment from me. But, we will now be digging deeper into the world I have created for Weirder Things - and the people around it plus the horrors I have along the way.

🪬 So, speaking of, this universe has my heart and soul. And finally, I will be remaking it into what I truly want for it! Winterset, Iowa is inspired by Hawkins mainly with hints of Derry all in them. Conservative as fuck, fall themed, smells like cows/chickens and a bit sprinkled with a looming forest/house that has an eeriness about it so no one goes in it. It's basically a wet dream for Small Town Freaks, I don't make the rules! But yeah, down to the pretty Suburbans with all the well known rich people to the semi ghettos that have drug problems, rat issues, and little to no real cleanliness about the streets. And maybe some middle class, but none really.

🪬 I just wanna say I was not speaking down on Christianity in any type of way, I was mostly referring to the people who say they are Christians but they're homophobic, make up bible verses to spread hate, and are openly racist and call poc devils. So. Don't attack me, I'm not saying christians are bad people! Even though I have had bad experiences; I don't generalize them even though I got trauma. (Love all my mutuals that are christians, they're all so sweet.)

🪬  Yes, I made the Addams black. It's for the better and what we deserve idk. Alex is perfect to display remake of Will Byers. Now I will talk about them both. I luv Theo/TK even more now, and yes I've working on a new form with him that's got me absolutely obsessed. His inspiration is Will Byers, Chiron, Stiles Stilinski, and maybeeeeee Miles Morales a bit. He's just. Idk. Perfect. And homosexual as fuck. And a little dork.

Now, Angela is a perfect Yarida/Yara and a better crazy lady. Like, she fits the role so good that I feel like I've outdone myself idk. I would make a form for Yara butttttt it's a lot of work so it may or may not happen. Just know she's basically Joyce + black loving mother. With hints of Sherry Parker from the Karate Kid (2010). Just a hard working receptionist with two jobs trying to raise her son. #giveyadiraabreak!

Of course, I bought Tristan back....only for him to be dead by the same car crash that killed his father. Heheheh....silly me. But Tristian was a daddy's boy with a little homophobic tendencies because of his father oops but he was just a baby! He was only 8! Give him a break! Just a immature teasing older twin brother!

And the Karim Addams is...actually a good dad. He had died from a car crash shortly after he departed from WNL, so...sadly he's a dead dilf. But he was a good dad! A loving one, even if he was slightly....homophobic and had a little bit of toxic masculinity. But, he was a good father! Great even.

Hopefully these notes make sense because these are all my rambling thoughts at 11 pm!
