FOREVER: Part ∞ + 35

A viscous blue liquid stained under my converse shoes as I stepped on some of the blue flowers over the magical plateau. Sunlight shining behind Yonsan narrowed my eyes as it was excessively bright. Yonsan's smile I saw was even brighter than the sun.

As the purple leaves of the massive tree fell onto the plains covered with magnificent flowers, I hugged my friend Yonsan, finally after two years. My tears ran over my cheeks as I squeeze shut my eyes.

Yonsan teared up too, looking me in my eyes with a pure smile on his face. His presence took me back to my memories for a second. Our friendship was special and there was something magical about it.

"Yonsan, I missed you so much." I sobbed, putting my hand over Yonsan's shoulder.

He stopped smiling, taking his eyes off from me as he turned his back. This wasn't the reaction I was expecting from him.

"What's wrong?" I asked without wiping the tears from my eyes as he stepped to the elder tree slowly.

"Karu, you left others alone. You chose me over the other three." He turned his face to me. There was a single teardrop over his cheek.

"But... I can explain..." I faltered, "I had to find you because we needed you. I wanted five of us to be together again."

"And now?" He asked and he then added; "Now, are we all together? No! Nobody's left. You sacrificed them to save me."

"You're wrong." I stepped next to him, standing in a position where I can make eye contact with him.

"No Karu, you are!"

"You are talking like they are dead but they are alive and okay." I reasoned.

"Then, do you know where are they now? Are they with the Karuma Panda? And, what is Bomyu doing? Don't forget that lied to you!" Yonsan sighed as he looked in my watery eyes. He was telling me the truth so there was nothing for me to do but to say nothing.

I fell onto my knees and I sobbed, tears flooded in my eyes. My knees got covered with the blue liquid when they touched some of the small blue flowers over the grass.

"Crying will not help you. But, I know there is a way to fix everything."

"What is it, Yonsan? I don't think there's any hope." I asked as I wiped my tears off.

"No! We can be back, five of us can be back, together, forever! First, do you have the book?" Yonsan offered his hand to me.

"Yeah, what's in your head?"I asked as I nodded, showing the green star book to Yonsan.

"I can't tell you but I can show it. Come follow me." Yonsan picked up his blue magical wand which had red star stickers on it.

He pointed the wand to the huge elder tree as a magical beam drifted onto the massive tree. The magical sparkles started spinning around the giant tree as its leaves started shining. I watched the branches fell apart, creating colourful energy between them.

The colourful energy was a magical gate which opened in the middle of the tree while flashing lights of every single colour glimmered around the gate. Sparkles coming from the portal seemed like they were absorbing the purple leaves of the elder tree.

Yonsan kept his eyes on the blue watch on his left arm, and he began stepping into the gate.

"Where are you going?" I questioned as I began following him.

Once I stepped inside the portal, blue and purple lights started flashing. It was like a tunnel which connected two worlds.

As we approached the end of the mysterious tunnel, a magical island flying over the clouds became visible at the other side of the portal.

"Magicaland!" Yonsan shouted happily when he saw the enchanting island.

"I never knew that a place like this existed." I puzzled, gazing upon the flying island which was covered by pink clouds. There was a town on the island with many ancient castles around it. All houses in the town had roofs of different types and colours.

"Magicaland is the place where all the magic came from. But since all stars died, it's a dangerous place." Yonsan explained.

"How is this going to help others?" I wondered as Yonsan and I travelled to the flying island by the magical portal.

Yonsan sighed, and checked his watch on his left arm once again:

"Finally, it's 3:54. Let's go there."

He and I jumped out of the portal to the flying magical island called Magicaland. Small, colourful buildings were all around us when my feet landed on the crystal pavements. And, the pink clouds were close to the ground covered with trees, they even could pass across the roads.

"Where is everyone?" I remarked that there was nobody around in Magicaland.

"They moved to another place. Magic is dying, Karu. Just like the stars, it will disappear and everyone will perish." Yonsan explained, gazing upon the empty streets leading to a magical castle.

"I don't understand, Yonsan. Why is magic disappearing?"

"Nobody knows, Karu. But, I know how to fix this."

"Really? How do we do that?"

"Give me the book." Yonsan offered his hand.

"Sure. Why?" I handed the green star book to him.

He opened the book, scanning the blank pages of it while I curiously waited for him to tell me what his plan was.

"It missed it. I missed it so much." Yonsan got amazed by the book.

Then, he put his hand on a blank page, closing his eyes. His blue hair waved by the wind that the star book started to create. Magical sparkles collected at the point where his hand touched the paper.

A green coloured fire began arising from the blank pages of the star book as Yonsan opened his eyes. His eyes were glowing green, not like the ones of the Karuma Panda, this was different.

A strong wind started to blow from inside the star book Yonsan was holding. The pink clouds around the street we were on turned into dark grey as the blue sky became dark.

"What's happening, Yonsan?" I asked him while I put my arm over my face to block the strong wind.

"It's working. Magic is returning." Yonsan chuckled while green fires from the book grew around him, turning his eyes green.

All of the leaves of the pink trees around us withered immediately while the green fires reached the sky. Flames were rising like a wild wind who could kill anything on its way. It seemed like something wrong was going on.

"Something is off. This doesn't seem good." I thought out loud.

Yonsan snickered, looking at me with the book in his hands; "You are so dumb, Karu. I can't believe that I easily fooled you."

"I don't understand why." I got puzzled, tears glimmering in my eyes.

"The star book is helping me to obtain every other magic left in the Multiverse, and then I will be unstoppable!" Yonsan chuckled loudly as he directed a green fireball onto me.

By the effect of the green fireball, I rolled over the ground, having scars all around me. My legs were hurting significantly, making it hard for me to stand up.

"You believed everything I said when we made a connection at the high school by the orb, and when you called me from the group chat. That mirror trick I told you was some kind of death magic! But, it is disappointing that Bomyu stole the book without giving you a chance to try it. I think he knew about everything." Yonsan confessed with a laugh.

"Why are you doing this?" My eyebrows drew together as I stared at Yonsan, squeezing my hands into fists.

"Because I want the power I deserve. You left me alone in that portal and hesitated to come with me!" Yonsan yelled at me in a growling voice tone.

And, I got up, striding toward him, against the mighty storm. My legs were hurting but it wasn't as bad as the pain in my heart.

"No, don't you dare." Yonsan smiled as he pointed his arm to me, creating a wall from green flames between us.

"Why are you doing this to me? I thought we were great friends." I shouted in pain as the teardrops slid over my cheeks. At that moment, I had nobody by my side. I was feeling so alone, thinking about every memory I made with my friends.

Yonsan chuckled looking into my eyes with his burning green eyes. He created a piece of green fire in his palm, and the flames grew as the star book kept shining.

He directed the flames onto me in an unimaginable momentum. However, I was ready this time as I picked up my magical wand.

"Try it again." I blocked the flames by generating a temporary magical shield in front of me.

"With pleasure." Yonsan chuckled as he released flames onto me once again.

Accordingly, I created the magical shield again but he continued to shoot the flames. He lifted the star book up, unleashing an enormous fireball looking like a meteorite.

The meteorite moved toward me at an incredible speed. It seems impossible for me to block it so I closed my eyes in fear.

Then, I heard the deafening sound of an explosion. It compelled me to open my eyes, seeing a gigantic stone wall right in front of me.

Mrs Marleight was standing next to me holding a purple wand in her hand. I thought that she was the one who saved me by creating the rock wall. But, it wasn't only her.

"Turn around, Karu. I got you some help." Mrs Marleigh looked at me, and she smiled.

I turned my back, seeing Seanyung, Paikek and Bomyu standing there.
