FOREVER: Part ∞ + 33

Bomyu, Paikek, Seanyung and I were stuck in the middle of the dark hallway, which had locked doors on both sides. We stood beside each other while we were surrounded by the dark shadows of the Karuma Panda.

My eyes searched for Sonya in the hallway but I couldn't see her anywhere since she got locked in the room because of the darkness that shadows created.

The solid shadow waves around the Karuma panda rushed towards us. They passed through us, leaving small scars on my skin.

"We can't fight it. What should we do?" I asked as I felt hopeless. I didn't think we could defeat it because last time we couldn't. And, the Karuma Panda looked stronger this time. It literally had no weaknesses.

"If we had the book, it would be easy." Seanyung wished, and he picked up his wand.

The Karuma Panda jumped onto us, and I pushed Paikek aside from his chest. Paikek fell over the ground, causing the panda to miss.

"Thanks, Karu." Paikek slightly smiled as he grabbed my hand.

"You're welcome." I smiled back at him, pulling him off from the ground.

The Karuma panda turned around creating a hurricane made out of a strange black liquid as it released shadowy arrows onto us.

While the arrows were coming toward us, Paikek's angelic wings immediately got out from his back. They were made of shining white feathers. He moved in front of us turning his back to the arrows.

The shadow arrows broke down when Paikek's wings obstructed them. The arrows couldn't pass through Paikek's angelic wings. So, they didn't reach to Bomyu, Seanyung, and me.

"Paikek's hurting!" Bomyu rushed next to him when Paikek fell onto his knees from the pain that arrows gave him.

Even though Paikek's wings protected us from the arrows, they couldn't protect himself.

"I'm okay." Paikek's voice came out as a croak.

"He needs a doctor." Seanyung suggested as he noticed the black liquid falling from Paikek's wings.

Paikek turned his face to Bomyu then he instantly fell over the purple carpet on the floor, closing his eyes.

Bomyu put his hands behind Paikek's back, trying to bring him up but Paikek was already passed out.

"He is not waking up." Bomyu fretted, tears glimmering in his bright brown eyes.

On the other hand, Karuma Panda turned its hands into long shadow whips. It stepped onto us hastily, trying to make an attack.

"Take him out of here. I can fight the panda." Seanyung advised as he picked up his magic wand and stood against the Panda with the green eyes.

"You can't fight him all by yourself. I'll help you." I stepped beside Seanyung as I couldn't let him fight alone against a super-powerful creature.

"No." Bomyu put in, trying to carry up Paikek. He seemed helpless: "I can't carry Paikek outside by myself. He is too heavy for me to carry."

Paikek's weight was almost the same as Bomyu's weight, so it was notably challenging for Bomyu to carry him.

I looked at Seanyung and he nodded, implying that I should go help Bomyu.

"Seanyung, take care. We will be back soon for help." I patted Seanyung's shoulder.

"Thank you, Karu. I will be fine." Seanyung thanked as he advanced onto the Karuma panda, creating a magical beam by his wand.

The Karuma panda surrounded Seanyung with a million dark whips while he fired magic beams onto the panda.

On the other hand, I rushed next to Paikek who was on the floor, his eyes closed.

Bomyu stared at me and nodded as he pulled Paikek's left arm, and I pulled his right. We carried him along the purple carpet, one of his arms was around my shoulders and the other was around Bomyu's.

While we were carrying Paikek, I could hear the sound of magic explosions coming from behind us. It was noticeable that Seanyung was indeed struggling.

One of the doors on the hallway was open, it was a dark brown wooden door. Bomyu and I peeked inside, seeing that it was a small dark messed up room. There were written notes, letters and notebooks everywhere on the floor of the room.

"We can hide here until Paikek gets well." Bomyu suggested.

"Okay, it looks safe." I agreed, and we carried Paikek into the dark messed up room.

There was a small bed we found in the room. After we laid Paikek over the bed, Bomyu quickly locked small chain on the door, securing it.

Paikek was still bleeding, his eyes were closed and he was motionless. Seeing him laying like that in the bed made me feel bad. He was hurting and we couldn't do anything about it.

"What are we going to do? Everything is so overwhelming. Nothing good is happening." I put my hands over my face as my tears fell from my eyes. The feeling of being lost and overwhelmed by all of the bad things happening were some of the reasons for the floods in my eyes.

"You are a great person Karu. Just remember that. You saved us multiple times. I'm sure it'll be okay." Bomyu comforted me as he put his arm around me.

I felt better, it created a smile on my face. However, when he hugged me, I felt something under his black jacket.

"What is that under your jacket?" I asked him pointing his jacket with my hand.

"There's nothing." Bomyu spoke in a low voice, lowering his eyebrows.

"No! There is an object." I insisted as I noticed that there was something under his jacket.

I put my hand on his chest, feeling the square-shaped object under his jacket. However, he immediately moved away from me raising his eyebrows.

"Don't lie to me." I looked into Bomyu's eyes but he avoided eye contact.

"I am not." Bomyu denied, and he even moved more away from me.

I stepped closer to him, looking him in his eyes, and I pushed him back from his chest with my hands. He put his left hand under his jacket while he prevented the object to fall.

"Bomyu, what are you hiding? Tell me what are you hiding from me?" I punched his chest, pushing him to the floor.

While he was on the floor, I walked toward him with heavy steps.

Bomyu tried to get up but I tried to push him back again, opening the front of his jacket.

Once his jacket got open, it became visible that there was a green book under his jacket.

"It's the star book! Why do you have it?" I remarked, widening my eyes when I saw the shiny green cover of the book with a star symbol on it.

Bomyu held the book tightly in his hands. As I approached more to him, Bomyu got more close to the end corner of the dark messy room. However, Bomyu looked like he never wanted to give the book away to me.

Suddenly, Bomyu jumped onto me, but I pushed him to the floor again, causing him to drop the green book.

"I got it." I gently picked up the book from the ground.

"Give it back to me!" Bomyu growled loudly while his brown fringe was falling over his face, covering over his eyes. He seemed like a different person like he wasn't the Bomyu I knew.

"Why did you steal it? Why did you lie to us?" I asked him, glancing at the star book in my hands.

He tilted his head left making a cracking sound by his neck as he walked onto me.

And, I slowly walked backwards away from him but the room was so small for me to escape.

Bomyu tilted his head to the other side as dark sharp spikes started to grow from his back. The spikes were not so close to each other and they were as long as his arms.

His mouth curled up smoothly as he walked towards me, speaking in a low voice;

"You already know what will happen next."
