Jimin parked his car and stepped outside then walked towards the café where Rosé works, he was there to pick her up.

Almost everyone there knows about Jimin by now and thought that he's her boyfriend even after her thousands of protests. He came early today to surprise Rosé, he can't wait to see her surprised face, just thinking about her made him chuckle at how cute she will look.

He stopped in his track when he saw the scene in front of him, through the glass walls.

Rosé was hugging some boy which stirred something in him.

Yes! He's a jealous type.

His blood boiled when he kissed her cheek and she playfully pushed him, laughing it off.

Jimin couldn't see it anymore so he walked away.

Rosé waved to her co-worker then stepped outside the café, she walked through the parking lot, and to her surprise, Jimin's car was there.

She walked towards it and peeked inside but there was no one inside the car, she frowned and turned around, only to jump in surprise.

"Jimin! You scared me there." She placed her hand against her chest.

When she calmed down, she noticed that Jimin was still standing there, blankly looking at her. "Jimin, are you okay?" She frowned worriedly. He didn't answer, instead, he took a step forward while she unconsciously took a step back.

Suddenly, his pace increased and Rosé's back hit the car. He slammed his hands on the car, trapping her. His veins popping out from his temples and neck, he was clenching and unclenching his jaw.

Rosé was shocked at Jimin's sudden anger, her heart started beating fast.

Did I do something wrong?

"Who was that guy?" He gritted out which made her shiver to her spine, she was now afraid yet confused. "W-What guy?" He closed his eyes and breathed through his nose.

Rosé was getting scared of his behavior, "Who was that guy that you were hugging?" He said the last word with so much hatred.

"It's not a guy, she's a friend, she works there, her name is Amber." She noticed how his expression changed from anger to confusion then relief.

Angry Jimin is really scary.

She decided to tease him, "Why? Are you jealous?" She smirked but it faded by his answer.

"Yes, I am!" She looked dumbfounded, he sighed and let go of her wrists. "Are you really that dense?" He asked helplessly.

When she didn't answer, he decided to come clean, "I like you, a lot more than you can imagine."

He would've said love instead of like but he didn't want to drop the bomb directly.

She just stood there flabbergasted, she was frozen, her mind went blank.

"I...uh...I have liked you from the very start, you were just so different from other girls that I couldn't help but to fall for you. Yes! I was a jerk to you at first but there's a reason behind it."

"T-Then why did—" he cut her off, "I bullied you?" She nodded, still trying to grasp the situation.

"Well, if I had approached you at first, would you have considered my feeling?"

He's right, I wouldn't have.

Even if she had a crush on him back then, she wouldn't have accepted his feelings because she was so busy trying to get good grades and dealing with her jobs, she didn't want to add more tension to her life.

Seeing her expression, he knew his answer, "That's why I didn't approach you, I didn't want to be rejected. But I didn't know that my doings will put this much of an influence on the whole school and then Jennie made everything even worse. I know I also hurt you emotionally and trust me it hurt me even more."

"I-I just couldn't think of anything to meet you or talk to you, I know it was stupid of me, there could have been other ways to approach you but I couldn't think of any and I'm sorry for that, I'm so so sorry for hurting you but just give me a chance, that's all I ask for." He looked at Rosé with hope while she remained silent.

To say that he was sad by her silence would be an understatement but he will give her time, he doesn't want to force her.

Of course, she couldn't answer quickly because the boy who used to bully her suddenly became nice and is now confessing to her.

"I-I need time." She looked down, she couldn't look into his eyes, her mind was in a hustle and she couldn't think straight.

He nodded in understandingly but his heart was hurting. Life has its ways of paying for your deeds, the pain he gave her is now given to him by her, even if it is unintentional, it still hurts.

They silently sat in his car and he started driving it to her house, the whole car ride was silent, which used to be a comfortable silence is now awkward and thick with tension.

He parked his car outside her house and she quickly unlocked her belt, "Ros–" before he could complete his sentence, she was out of the car and running inside her house.

He slammed at the wheel, "Damn it!"

Jimin's P.O.V.

I couldn't sleep all night, I knew I messed up.

Damn it! Couldn't I just keep my jealousy to myself and should have shut my mouth.

I ran a hand through my hair and sighed. I just couldn't contain the anger that built inside me when I saw her hugging that 'guy', something just snapped inside me and I would have done something to her friend if she hadn't cleared my misunderstanding.

The next day when I went to school, she was avoiding me. She was trying to make it look subtle but it didn't work. I let her be, I gave her space, as long as I get to see her face, that was enough for me.

But it only increased, to the point where she started to sit somewhere else. I tried to reach her but she would run away while making an excuse, I tried to talk to her after her job and she did a very good job at hiding from me.

This was all getting too much, it's been a week and I haven't seen her properly.

It's killing me!

I don't look forward to starting my day like I used to do because I can't meet her properly.

All of this was taking a toll on me and I needed a break, I took a one week leave from school to go to my grandma's house in Busan.

I missed her and it was a great place to clear my mind. I will have to return and face her but for now, I need some time alone. It's not like I'm trying to forget her because honestly, you can't just forget your loved ones in a week, for me, it might take years.

I'm not completely leaving her because I promised her mother that I'll be there for her whenever she needs me, even if her mother is getting better, I just can't break my promise, simply because I don't want to leave her.

Now it's been five days and I miss her like crazy, I was so used to seeing her daily that now it was eating me up.

My grandma also noticed my behavior, so I told her about Rosé and her happiness for me but I didn't tell her that she's avoiding me.

I didn't tell Rosé before leaving because it's obvious that she wouldn't care from the way she's avoiding me.

I'll just have to try harder to win her heart.

Currently, I was watching TV while sitting on the couch but my mind was somewhere else, I didn't realize that I fell asleep on it.

I woke up to the ringing of the bell, I groaned because my neck hurts. I sluggishly dragged my feet while rubbing my eyes.

I opened the door and squinted my eyes because of the brightness, "Jimin..."

This voice...

I opened my eyes to see someone I never expected to see here. "Rosé..."

Now I have completely lost my mind to the point where I am starting to have hallucinations.
