Author's P.O.V.

"Hey, Jimin! Can you come with me? I want to talk to you privately," He asked Jimin who was standing beside Rosé, waiting for her to pack her bag so they can leave.

The school was over and almost everyone has left.

"What is it?" Jimin asked curiously.

"Just come with me and I'll tell you." Jimin looked hesitant, he looked at Rosé, she rolled her eyes and mouth 'go'.

"I'm coming! just give me a second." Taehyung nodded and stood outside the class. Rosé raised an eyebrow, "I'll be back as soon as possible, don't go anywhere." She sighed, "Jimin, I'm not a kid, I can take care of myself."

He didn't say anything and took a step forward. Before Rosé could register what happened, he kissed her forehead which made her froze. He smiled at her and walked out of the class where Taehyung dragged him somewhere.

Rosé was still in a trance with a smile on her face, she didn't notice someone entering the class.

"Rosé..." she heard a meek, hesitant voice calling her name.

She snapped out of her trance, only to find the person she least expected.

Jennie?!

What surprised her was Jennie's appearance, she was nowhere near the Jennie she used to know. She looked so different, hesitant and almost vulnerable.

She wanted to pinch herself to see if she's really the same Jennie she has seen before her break from school. The Jennie who used to held her head high is now hanging her head low, the one who was proud of her beauty and loved to wear makeup to enhance her charm is now standing with a bare face and a ponytail hanging low, the Jennie who used to be always confident is now nervous and scared.

This has to be a dream.

Still, Rosé didn't let her guard down.

"Um...hi..." Rosé greeted awkwardly, fiddling with her fingers.

"H-Hi!" Both standing there in awkwardness when Jennie decided to broke the silence.

"Listen—I...um..." She took a deep breath then looked at Rosé.

"I'm sorry." Her voice cracked.

"I-I am s-sorry for what I've done to you, I'm sorry. I really am. I got a taste of my own medicine by hurting you, I now realize how much I must've hurt you. Just because of my selfishness, I hurt you, not only you but Jimin too and I'm really really sorry for that."

"I.....I hope you both last long. I'm not asking for forgiveness right away but please consider my apology. I-I'm sorry. Really." Tears formed in her eyes and when she made eye contact with Rosé.

Rosé almost gasped at her state, she looked so broken. A tear escaped her eye and she quickly wiped it away but they just won't stop flowing and she broke into sobs while burying her head in her hands.

Rosé was speechless and seeing Jennie crying made her believe that she's sincere because she knows that Jennie never cried in front of anyone, it would've hurt her ego but now she has changed and it's a good chance.

While Jennie was crying, she felt someone hugging her.

She froze.

"I forgive you," Rosé whispered and Jennie completely broke down at that, she kept thanking her while silently sobbing on Rosé's shoulder.

Rosé just kept hugging her in comfort, she didn't know what else to
do.

She couldn't see Jennie like this, Jennie is the type who doesn't cry in front of everyone and it must be a lot of pressure for her to cry in front of her like that.

Jimin happily swung the door open, only to be met by a scene he never thought he would be witnessing in his life.

Rosé and Jennie hugging each other.

What the fuck happened when I was gone?

He was about to take a step forward when Rosé noticed him, she placed her index finger against her lips to silence Jimin and that's when he noticed how Jennie's shoulder was shaking and he could hear her silent sobs.

Jimin was still hesitant, he felt someone's hand on his shoulder. He looked over his shoulder to see Taehyung standing there, "Jimin, let them be."

He sighed then nodded and waited outside the classroom for Rosé while impatiently tapping his foot.

Just as Jennie took a step outside the class, Jimin rushed inside the class to check on Rosé.

"Are you okay?!" His heart was beating fast for any possibilities of her being hurt, he looked at her from head to toe then turned her around and did the same. He cupped her face because she wasn't answering and made her look at him, "Answer me, please!" He said desperately.

"I'm fine, just a bit shocked at what just happened," She answered truthfully.

"Well, I'm shocked too but what was she doing here in the first place?" he asked curiously.

"To apologize," Jimin was shocked at first then started laughing, "That was a good one, you really got me there." She glared at him and he stopped laughing,

"Don't tell me you believe that bullshit, it must be one of her games again."

"Jimin!" She warned him and he shrugged, "I know you don't like her for what she did, I did too but now she has realized her mistake and she apologized and you know she never apologized to anyone, so it must be serious. And have you even seen her, she looked so broken and I don't hold grudges so I forgave her."

"What am I gonna do with you?" Jimin sighed and shook his head, Rosé was just too kindhearted and it scared him sometimes.

"And...I forgave you too, so I don't see any problem in that." His shoulder slumped at that and as he opened his mouth, she knew what he was going to say.

Placing her index finger on his plump lips, shushing him, "I didn't say that to make you apologize for l, as I've said before, I forgive you. End of discussion!"

Rosé was grateful to Jimin for his concern but he can be a bit annoying with his overprotective ass.

Why do I always find you beside me whenever I need someone?

When Jennie exited the classroom, Taehyung stood there with open arms, she didn't think twice and ran into his arms which he secured around her firmly.

They stayed there for a while then he pulled back and grabbed her hand, they started walking towards his house.

"How did it go?" Jennie looked at him with the biggest smile on her face which had Taehyung awestruck.

"She forgave me!" She continued, "Can you believe it? She is so nice..." she kept talking, eyes sparkling, a  smile never leaving her face, her nose was a bit red from crying but it just made her look cuter.

Taehyung blurred out on her conversation, he was busy looking at her, how bright she looks, how contagious her smile is.

They reached his home and walked to the living room. "Tae..." he turned around only to be greeted by a hug.

"Thank you so much! I couldn't have done it without you, thanks for always being there for me. I'll forever be grateful to you, I love you so much!" She blurts out in the span of the moment.

This made Taehyung froze and that's when she realized that she just confessed but there's no going back now.

"I-I'm sorry, I know that you d-don't like me, it's okay, I-I understand..."

Who was she kidding, of course, it hurt her more than anything but she didn't want to force him into anything, she has done that before and she won't repeat her mistake, she already regrets doing that.

Taehyung pulled away from her with a blank expression which made her mood from happy to sorrow and his reply made her heart sank.

"You're right, I don't like you."
