Lucas groaned in pain while laying on the floor.

Damn it! What does he eat?

He just wanted to take his revenge on Jungkook by scaring Lisa away from him, he wanted Jungkook to feel how he feels.

All of his muscles were aching, he couldn't move properly.

He even destroyed my handsome face.

He pushed himself on his elbows when someone came barging through the doors.

"Oh my God!" Yuqi gasped, her hand flew to her mouth, eyeing Lucas's condition.

What have I done?

He tried to sit up but couldn't help but groan in pain while moving his muscles. Yuqi quickly ran to his aid, "I'm fine!" he refused her aid, his ego not letting him seen weak in front of anyone.

"You are far from fine!" she snapped. He didn't reply and still stubbornly tried to stand up. He became dizzy and she quickly grabbed his arm and placed it around her neck. "Let go, I can walk by myself," he grumbled but didn't remove his arm.

They walked down the hallway, "Yuqi, I said I can walk by mys—" he tried to protest but she glared at him and threatened, "Do you want another bruise on your body?!" That had his mouth shut and he let her help him

They reached the infirmary and she helped him sat on the bed.

Yuqi started to find the first aid kid. When she found it, she turned to him, only to find him unbuttoning the last button of his shirt then shrugging it off his shoulders, she blushed really hard.

Oh boy! This is gonna be hard.

She slowly approached him while he was staring at her. She deliberately applied the ointment on his bruises while Lucas tried not to wince in pain.

Her cheeks were burning from their closeness and embarrassment, while she was applying the ointment on his abs.

Suddenly, he grabbed her hand, making her look at him and gulp at their closeness and his intense gaze.

"You don't have to do it if you're not comfortable," he said, still grabbing her hand. "N-No, it's okay!" she stuttered out, he shook his head and grabbed the ointment from her hand, and started applying it himself.

Yuqi released a breath she didn't know she was holding. She started to tend the bruises on his face. While she was busy attending to his bruises, she didn't notice that Lucas was staring at her the whole time.

After attending to his bruises, he laid down on the bed while Yuqi took the chair beside his bed. There was a silence between them which Lucas decided to break, "Why did you tell him?" She looked down, having a hard time answering.

"I.....I-I thought you were really going to do something with her, I was scared so—" he cut her off by asking, "No, not that. I mean, didn't you like Jungkook, isn't that why you agreed to do all of this, right?"

"I do! But when I saw him outside waiting for her, I knew I don't have any chance with him and he proved it." she smiled bitterly, "I'm sorry, because of me you have to go through all of this." she apologized while Lucas looked at her teary eyes, "Nah, it's okay, I'm used to it." he tried to sound casual as if its nothing to get beaten down to a pulp.

"No! I'm sorry, what kind of friend am I, it's my fault that you're here." she started crying with her head buried in her hands.

Lucas panicked and painfully sat up, trying not to make any noise then stood up and approached her. He crouched down in front of her, ignoring the pain, and grabbed her hands, removing them from her face.

She still avoided eye contact with him, he grabbed her chin and made her look at him, "You need to stop apologizing because it's not your fault, it's my fault for dragging you in this mess, I'm sorry,"

Did he just apologized?!

It's really a rare sight to see.

"So, stop crying, I don't like it when you cry, especially because of me." He smiled at her while her heart warmed at his words. She broke into a smile and playfully punched his shoulder.

"Ow, Ow, Ow!" He grabbed his shoulder while Yuqi panicked, her eyes filling with new tears, "I'm so sorry!" He can't have her cry again, so he tried to act as nothing happened.

"Ahh, don't worry, it's nothing much. See! I can walk properly." He tried to keep his pain to himself and walked to the bed just to assure her that he wasn't that hurt, seeing him like this made her sigh in relief. "You scared me there." he just sheepishly smiled which caused her to smile too.

Both friends caught up with each other, what they have missed and other things.

They are meeting after a long time, due to some reasons Lucas stopped talking to her and she was hurt by that, but now after a long time, he approached her, only to take his revenge on Jungkook. She agreed, even if it means she gets to spent time with her childhood friend.

"Hey! Can I stay yours, like old times, my Mom would freak out if she sees me like this," he asked in a hopeful tune and Yuqi was happy that she got to spend more time with her friend.

She nodded eagerly, "Mom and Dad, miss you." He smiled and replied, "I also miss uncle and aunty." she smiled.

I hope he remains like this.

After resting for a while, Yuqi helped Lucas with walking, and this time he didn't protest.
