"She is alive!" These words kept ringing in my head.

My mother is alive!

I feel alive just by hearing these words.

The doctor who barged through the door has told us about this, I cried again but they were happy tears. Jimin held me together the whole time, he was being my pillar and I can never thank him enough for everything he has done for me.

He's literally an angel.

Mother's condition is better than before, the doctor said it was a miracle that her heart started beating again.

After two weeks, Mom will be discharged and I cannot express my happiness. I had to stop working overtime because I want to spend more time with her. Jimin still didn't stop picking and dropping me at work, even after my countless protest.

I visit my Mother daily at the hospital with Jimin, of course. They both have become really close that they sometimes team up against me. Not only that, but he also drops me home after that with the excuse 'It's not good for a girl to walk this late at night' My heart flutters at that, even if he says this seriously, I don't know why I found this cute.

He's cute.

A smile graced my face just thinking about him.

Author's P.O.V.

One and a half week has been passed since Rosé's mother nearly faced death.

Life was going as usual.

Currently, her shift ended early and she didn't want to bother Jimin, so she started walking towards the hospital by herself.

Suddenly, her phone rang, she pulled out her phone from her pocket and saw a message from Jimin. She smiled and read the message 'Look behind you'

She frowned at that, Jimin couldn't possibly know that her shift ended early today, right?

She kept walking and looked over her shoulder but there was no one.

That's creepy.

Suddenly, her legs bumped into something, making her fall on that thing or more like someone, her arms landed over the stranger's shoulder.

That person grabbed her legs and she gasped, ready to hit that person at the back of his head.

Suddenly, that person started laughing, that all too familiar laugh that makes her stomach churn.

Jimin!

"God damn it, Jimin! You gave me a heart attack!" She scolded him while he kept laughing which made him receive a smack at the back of his head, "Ow! What was that for? Is that how you pay someone who's gonna give a free ride home." She could practically feel him pouting.

"Where is your car?" She looked around but couldn't find that familiar car, "I didn't bring my car today."

What? Don't tell me he's going to carry me to the hospital.

"And yes! I'm gonna carry you all the way to your mother." It was like he heard her thoughts.

"I can walk by myself, put me down." He shook his head and tightened his grip, "That, sweetheart, I can't do and you should feel honored that you are getting a free ride on Park Jimin's back."

Conceited much?

She rolled her eyes and wrapped her arms around his neck.

He's warm.

"Jimin, put me down, the hospital is very far and I'm also not a skinny person which you can carry around for miles." She was worried that she's going to cause a backache to him, due to her weight.

"Ah! you're so heavy, I can't walk. My back!" he jokingly bends down a little to show her that she's weighing him down but the poor girl didn't get the joke.

"Jimin! Put me down, you're going to have a backache because of me." she said with concern lacing her tune and Jimin smiled, "I was just joking, you weigh like a baby."

She was still doubtful, "Are you sure?" She asked in a small voice and Jimin felt bad for teasing her. "Positive!"

"Can I ask you something?" He asked.

"Yeah, go ahead." She placed her chin on his shoulder, getting comfortable.

"Who was your first crush?" he randomly asked, that question caught her off guard.

Jimin was curious so he asked her but he still had a bit of an idea of who it would be, when he didn't get an answer, he spoke, "It is Taehyung, isn't he?" He exclaimed, sadly.

Rosé shook her head but when she realized that he can't look at her, she replied, "No!"

Now Jimin was curious and a bit jealous that she had a crush on someone before Taehyung. "Then who is it?"

It's you, pabo.

"I'm not gonna tell you." Jimin was dying from curiosity now, "Why? Please tell me, it's not like I'm gonna kill that dude."

You can't kill yourself, idiot.

"Nu-uh, still not telling you." Jimin while and kept whining with a pout on his face.

I can't tell him or else his already boosted ego will explode and not forget about the teasing.

All their way, Jimin tried to bribe Rosé to spill the beans but she kept her mouth zipped which resulted in Jimin with a pout and Rosé occasionally pinching his cheeks.

Stop being cute, will you?

Rosé's heart fluttered and the butterflies in her stomach are not helping her either.

"Why did you bring me home?" Rosé just noticed that they have reached her home.

"You'll see..." he carefully dropped her, he grabbed her hand and dragged her inside the house. She was confused but still didn't complain.

Jimin placed his index finger against his lips, indicating her to be quiet, she nodded and he dragged her to a room, her mother's room.

Seulgi gasped and her hand flew to her mouth, her mother was sleeping in her bed.

But how? She wasn't supposed to be discharged today.

She looked at Jimin, completely speechless while he just softly smiled at her. She was about to open her mouth to say something but Jimin dragged her outside so that they won't wake her mother up.

"....H-How.....when....." she was still overwhelmed and speechless.

He scratched his nape with a sheepish smile, "Ahh...I kinda talked to the doc—" he was cut off by Seulgi jumping on him, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you...." He just smiled and wrapped his arm around her.

"You don't know how much this means to me..." her voice cracked, he gently pulled away and saw that she was about to cry.

I wanted to see her smile not cry.

"Hey, hey, hey! Don't cry, please." he was panicking. She blinked back her tears and smiled, "Sorry, I was just overwhelmed." She gave her biggest smile to him which nearly knocked the air out of him, it was his first time seeing her smile from ear to ear.

I can look at this smile all day.

Jimin was caught off guard when Rosé kissed his cheek and ran inside her house.

First, he was frozen, his brain stopped working but then his lips curl into the biggest smile that his cheeks started hurting.

Still, in a trance, he started walking towards his home with a stupid smile on his face.

Thud!

His head bumped into the pole, he rubbed his head, groaning, his senses returning but then his mind decided to replay that scene where Rosé kissed his cheek and he squealed like a girl, again with that stupid smile on his face, he skipped towards his home.
