Jungkook's  P.O.V

I was boringly sitting in my seat, listening to Lisa blabbering about something. The teacher didn't arrive yet, so I don't have any choice but to endure her.

I sighed, thinking about that one time when I tried to listen to her. She was literally talking about unicorns existence and that there are bunnies at the moon, blah blah blah.

I had to look at her at that time to confirm that she's not joking but her expression was very serious and I mentally face-palmed.

I feel like I'm sitting beside a kid.

I don't know how she even got into high school, her mental age is of a kindergarten.

Not just that, she's also clumsy, she can't walk straight without stumbling or tripping, she tends to hurt herself so that's why I have to keep band-aids with me because she's not only clumsy but also forgetful, she always forgets to keep them.

What a troublesome girl.

That's why I always have to walk beside her and whenever I tell her to be careful, she'll just smile at me as if nothing happened.

I sighed.

Why the hell am I even worried about her?

That's the reason why I don't interact with girls, they are troublesome. Sure that Lisa is different from other girls in so many ways, like the way she eats messily while other girls eat with such elegance as if they are in some kind of a fancy restaurant. The way she walks, don't even get me started on it.

She can't even walk properly.

While other girls, their walk is more like a catwalk.

I just realized the fact that I noticed her too much to know these things about her, sigh.

What is happening to me?!

Maybe because I've never seen such a klutz and stupid person in my life, even Jimin Hyung isn't that clumsy.

Our teacher soon came and finally, my ears could rest. Never in my life, I've been thankful for a teacher's appearance.

I was focusing on the front when someone poked my arm. I looked at her annoyingly but she didn't spare me a glance because she was looking at my arm with amusement and still kept poking it.

I was getting really irritated as the seconds pass, "What are you doing?" I whisper yelled at her. She looked at me with wide sparkling eyes then looked at my arm, "Do you stuff bricks in here?" She whispers, her eyes twinkling in wonder. I gave her a 'Are you serious?' look.

See, she's a complete idiot.

"These are called muscles, silly." She mouthed 'o' like it's her first time seeing this. That's what I was talking about, she literally acts like a child and I sometimes feel like her babysitter.

Screw my life.

After a while, she again poked my arm and I was trying really hard not to yell at her. I looked at her, ready to give her a lecture when she suddenly asked, "Do you have an extra pen? I kinda forgot mine at home." She said while scratching her nape while sheepishly smiling at me.

I just rolled my eyes then gave an extra pen which I always kept in cases like these. That's what I was talking about her being forgetful.

What am I gonna do with her?

Author's  P.O.V

The lectures continued as usual until it was lunch break. Lisa looked in a hurry as she quickly picked her books and scurried outside of the class.

Jungkook was curious as to why she left early because she always followed him during lunch break and almost everywhere. He decided to shrug it off.

Meanwhile, Lisa was walking while looking down when she suddenly bumped into something hard due to which she nearly fell but composed herself. She looked up to see a tall, scary boy whose aura screamed 'bad boy'.

The boy looked down at her up with annoyance, "What where you're going!" He said a bit loudly to her.

She jolted in surprise, she felt frightened. She took a few steps back, only for her back to be bumped into something hard, more specifically a chest.

"Can't you watch where you're going?" She recognized the voice of the person behind her.

Jungkook.

She was relieved after hearing his voice, she doesn't know why she was feeling like this but shrugged it off at the moment.

Jungkook grabbed her arm and gave a death glare towards the boy in front of him.

Lucas.

While Lucas just smirked at the scene above him, anyone could've been scare of the way Jungkook was looking at him but not Lucas. Oh no, it was the opposite for Lucas.

Lucas found it amusing how Jungkook is taking a girl's side.

Jeon Jungkook defending a girl. Interesting.

He's defending her, which means she must be someone special to him.

Maybe even his weakness.

Just thinking about it made Lucas smirk wider and Jungkook can feel something was wrong.

Lucas bent down to her eye-level at which she leaned more against Jungkook. Jungkook's grip tightened a bit around her arm. "We'll meet again, princess." If looks could kill, Lucas would be dead by now.

After saying that, he glanced at Jungkook only to see his hardened expression then continues, "When your bodyguard won't be around." He emphasized the word 'bodyguard' while glancing at Jungkook then winked at her making Jungkook ready to punch him in the face.

Lucas turned around and walked away while whistling as if nothing happened.

Lisa was scared and confused by that bad boy's behavior. She snapped out of the trance when she realized how Jungkook was still holding her. Oddly enough, the warmth that Jungkook's body provided made her not want to move.

She tilted her head up which was still against his chest and looked at Jungkook, only to find him glaring in the direction Lucas left. She wasn't scared of his glare anymore. She was getting used to it.

"Jungkook..." She called out his name softly and he snapped back to reality, the frown not leaving his face, his jaw clenched, eyes shooting dagger, he looked down to see Lisa looking at with those innocent doe-eyes of hers which were filled with confusion and a there also a bit fear in them.

She looked so cute and innocent that Jungkook's expression unconsciously morphs into a soft look.

He knew that she doesn't understand why Lucas wanted to meet her again, he also doesn't know why but all he knew that when Lucas is involved in something, it's definitely something bad.

After the lunch break, they went to their classes and Lisa was quiet the whole time while frowning. She was in deep thoughts and suddenly, Jungkook cleared his throat. She whipped her head towards his direction.

He looked hesitant and finally stepped aside from his pride and asked, "Can you help me with this topic? I didn't quite understand It." Lisa looked surprised because it's always her asking questions but today was the first time when he initiated speaking to her.

She smiled brightly because she was happy that he felt comfortable enough to ask her, so she nodded excitedly and start explaining whatever she understood, which wasn't too much.

Jungkook actually understood the topic but he used it as an excuse to make her talk, to remove that frown on her face and replace it with her usual bright smile, it actually worked.
