I got up and rolled out of bed. I ran over to my walk-in-closet and grabbed my uniform. I quickly put my uniform on and then grabbed my hockey bag from the back of my closet. I quickly did my makeup and hair then ran downstairs with my bag. I grabbed my backpack and ran outside. My mom was already in the car waiting. I hopped in and she drove me to school. 

     Finally the school day was over. I ran to the school's ice rink and got suited up. I went out on the ice and stretched. None of the guys seemed to notice or care that I was there. I sighed and skated up to Coach Jeffery. 

     "Are you ready?" He asked me.

     "Yes, do they know about me being on the team?" I asked.

     "No, they'll find out sooner or later," He said. I only have a couple feminine features in my face. My eyes were big and round. Plus my nose was tiny. I did have a masculine jawline and face shape. I skated off and finished stretching. Eventually Coach Jeffery called all of us over to him. He explained how these tryouts were gonna work. Basically, we would play two short, twenty minute games. The judges would decide who would make the cut. He split us into teams one, two, three, and four. I was on three meaning I would play the second game. I sat on the bench and watched the game. I noticed one defensemen who was incredible. He must have been a senior. Eventually they came off and we went on. I looked around. We had an extremely tall center for face-off. The tryout ref dropped the puck and our center passed it to me. I flew down the ice and no one kept up. Not even the defensemen in the back. I flew past them and went in for a shot. It barely slipped in. I scored not even a minute in. My team celebrated and I went back to where I stood for face-off. We won again and it came to me. I flew towards the net, but this time they expected me. I passed back to our center and dodged a huge defensemen barely. Our center went in and scored. I smiled as I went to the bench. 

     After tryouts were over I sighed and took my helmet off to reveal my long ponytail. I wiped the sweat off my forehead and saw the guys stare at me in amazement. I noticed the defensemen and the center looked the most shocked. 

     "Never seen a girl before?" I winked as I grabbed my bag. I walked out. They would post the team roster tomorrow morning. I went to the parking lot to wait for my mom. I was standing there when I heard two guys calling out to me.

     "Hey!" One of them yelled. I recognized he was the center and the other was the defensemen.

     "Hi," I said as they came up to me.

     "You were amazing!" The defensemen said.

     "Aw thank you," I blushed. They were both cute.

     "No problem. I'm Miro," He said.

     "I'm Chase," The center said.

     "I'm Skyler," I said smiling.

     "I hope you make the team," Miro said smiling. My mom's car pulled up.

     "You, too," I said waving as I got in my mom's car. I really hope I made the team.
