let's skip to a day later because the author is sleepy af because it's already night and the last time she went to sleep was yesterday. for real, i spent hours rewatching svt mvs, reading heartbreaking fics and crying over them bc i have no fucking life, thanks.

"why are you here?" jeonghan was so ready to fight me as soon as he saw me outside his house
"um, can we talk?"
"is there anything to talk about?"
"yeah, actually."

though awkward, jeonghan managed to keep his cool and let me step inside the house. then i noticed that the seventeen related stuff in his living room were all gone. like that adorable picture of dino in a frame which used to sit on the little coffee table by the couch. that seventeen banner i made when they won for pretty u which was displayed just above his television. there are a lot more that he took away and now it makes the house feel empty.

as i took off my shoes, i saw him take a bottle of wine and two glasses before coming back. he arranged them on the center table and comfortably sat down on the couch while i awkwardly sat on the sofa chair.

"talk," he ordered, offering me a glass of wine. i accepted it with both hands although i did not really intend to drink. i started to tell him the whole situation of how jihoon wrote all the members' names on the list of performers without knowing all the rules. jeonghan never really said anything as i talked. he was just nodding from time to time, taking a sip on his glass and looking at me, expressionless.

"so, the boys sent you here so you could convince me?"
"no," i answered "i just thought of convincing you because these coming performances mean a lot to the boys. we worked hard-"
"we?" he chuckled
"well, yes. i arranged the songs because jihoon is extremely busy."

the boy took another sip from his glass and continued to chuckle, "i wouldn't want to perform a song that you arranged. i don't want to win the performance because of a song with your name in it."

"is that it?" i uttered
"excuse me?"
"i mean, is that the only thing that will keep you from performing?"
"i think."
"then i'll tell jihoon to take my name off as the arranger."

chan would kill me. he was that one boy who never really forgets to tell me about how excited and proud he is to let everyone know that i arranged their songs. he would always tell that this will be a chance for me to get known by my musical abilities. that this will be a chance for me to officially work with groups.

i also thought of that. and i loved the idea of working with the people i love. but well, i had to choose between my dream and seventeen's. and of course, i choose seventeen.

jeonghan and i talked a bit more about the same topic. and then i few minutes later, it was time to go. although it kinda made me lonely that i won't gain any credit for my hardwork, i was happy that everything went well and that jeonghan didn't attack me. he told me that he'll attend the last practice tomorrow. he also mentioned to tell the boys not to expect the best.

"i will never take your name off the people who made the song," jihoon crossed his arms

"yeah, this is your time to shine minseul!" chan whined as he shook my shoulders "to work with us!"

"there's next time, chan."

"you don't understand! this week is big for the school because this will be hosted by a huge company!" jihoon told me " and i don't want you to lose that opportunity!"

after more minutes of just scolding, i finally had time to breathe. man, all this stress is killing me. junhui gave me a glass of water and listened to all my frustrations until i decided to just go back and do my final edit on lililililililililili yabbay.

at 4pm, the boys were already practicing clap without jeonghan and they look tired. also, i'm still not used to soonyoung's red hair. it was so vibrant, he stood out for the whole performance. for their water breaks, i left the place to see their complete wardrobe for monday. tons of clothes and shoes were lined up and i felt really excited to see them all dressed up. i don't know who picked the color though but it will surely look good on them.

"OH SHIT WE MISSED SOMETHING!" jihoon shouted from the other room "I just received an announcement!"

i walked back to the boys to see what they have missed. jihoon read the text out loud and he mentioned something about a performance teaser that will add points to the final performance on the fifth day. it will be uploaded to the school's official website and will be evaluated by views and the creativity. rank 1 will receive an additional 10 points, 2 and 3 will receive 5 and then 6 to 10 will receive 3. and the submission is only until today at 6pm. it should not exceed the time limit of 1 minute.

"WHAT THE HELL DO WE DO?" Jihoon shouted

"let's just make an animated teaser!" minghao suggested

"and who will do that?" seungcheol asked, making minghao fall silent. "we have to decide real quick because we can't chase the opportunity away. even just receiving three points is big enough!"

"i have an idea!" soonyoung raised his hand

"this better be good," wonwoo muttered.

right before 6pm, seokmin was already done uploading the video. all of us were gathered in front of the computer as chan scrolled down to see the other groups' entries.

"i am confident," soonyoung told everyone "we will get the additional three points!"
"three? not five or ten?" jihoon asked
"um..."

none of us have seen the final product yet except for the other boys who helped do the video. plus, i fell asleep while they were working on it so i didn't really catch up with anything.

"it's not good," seokmin shook his head

"hey that's offensive, i edited!" chan argued before closing his eyes and clicking on the video. for the first second, jihoon was already facepalming at what he saw while the others had their jaws on the ground.

"what's wrong with it?" seokmin questioned his friend "it's beautiful!"

"i can't even look at it, for fuck's sake," jihoon kept shaking his head

"what the hell is sebtin sebtin sebtin sebtin?" hansol said as he laughed so hard at what he just watched "i enjoyed it, i think it was good!"

"this is family friendly, i approve," joshua chuckled

"what will the viewers think of us?" minghao muttered "i would be shy to promote this."

"this is a disgrace to my visuals," mingyu added "right junhui?"

"of course."

the boys watched it some more and vernon was laughing so hard at it, he was literally rolling on the floor. chan was proud of his masterpiece and the rest, except for soonseok, felt betrayed.

"moral lesson, never let chan do things," seungcheol told everyone

"it was soonseok's idea, not mine!!" the maknae whined

"it was our idea, i admit," seokmin replied "but we didn't expect to see ourselves dancing with a beach background so chan's ideas made it worse!"

"you just said it's beautiful!"

"okay stop this!!" jihoon shushed everyone "even though it's embarrassing, we have to promote this to increase the views. we gotta do what we gotta do. get your phones and just do it. hansol, joshua, manipulate your ig followers."
