I woke up on a stranger's bed, with pins and needles in my head, and the clock ticking off the wall-

I woke up, seeing a laptop near the edge of the bed. I found myself wrapped and rolled up with a blanket. After setting myself free, I remembered that I'm in frickin Winwin's room

but where is he?

I rolled to the right side of the bed, seeing the boy sleeping cutely on the floor. maybe he fell, oh my gawd.

my phone started vibrating and when I turned it on, I saw 27 damn missed calls from kwon soonyoung!!

as soon as he called, I lay down the bed again and answered it

"hello-"

"MINSEUL WHERE ARE YOU!?"

damn, I almost threw the phone because of that frickin jumpscare

"uhm...home?"

"WHY DIDN'T YOU GO HOME LAST NIGHT!?"

"I told you, i'm home,"

"BUT YOU'RE NOT HERE!!"

"in my original home, soonyoung,"

"BUT WHY!? DON'T YOU WANT TO BE HERE ANYMORE!?"

"I didn't say anything like that, why are you mad?"

"I'M NOT MAD I'M JUST FRUSTRATED,"

"geez how overreacting, I'll explain later, kwon. I hate you bye,"

"BUT WINWIN-"

I ended the call in an instant and took a deep breath.

it's early as hell and soonyoung is already so hot headed, what even

i jumped off the bed and left the room for a bit to check things out

"Minseul!" Mom saw me

damn it! I was supposed to run, but she already saw me! it's no use.

mom hurriedly ran and hugged me tight. like, yeah, of course I missed her but I did not miss any of her bullsht.

"Why were you in Sicheng's room?" she interrogated as her eyes widened

"i-"

"Good heavens!" she reacted

"WHAT? NO! NO MOM IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK-"

"You hang out with him now? aww how adorable!" she smiled

"....oh.....oh! ahahaha I thought it was something else i-" I stuttered "ah forget it,"

"it's been so long since I saw you, honey," she kissed my forehead "I'm so sorry for making you leave,"

"oh....it's cool, mom. no worries,"

"I'll prepare breakfast for now since it's a day off for me. You should go and wake your cousin up," she walked off and I nodded

I went back to the room and checked if Winwin was already awake. I sat beside him and gently woke him up

"Winnie the pooh, wakey wakey!" I whispered and chuckled, why am I treating him like a kid tho

he opened his eyes lazily and muttered

"good morning sunshine,"

"wow," I laughed

"oh- I was talking to the sun, don't mind me," he replied and sat up, rubbing his eyes and constantly blinking like a cute little boy. plus, his hair was messy asf, it really looked like ice cream

"Why did you even dye your hair like that? it looks silly,"

"but it looks good on me," he laughed "just kidding,"

"i'm shook," I replied and laughed with him "Anyway, mom already saw me,"

"wow I missed a lot,"

"not really, but she's waiting for us downstairs, you should go fix yourself already," I told him as I stood up "I'll wait for you down there too,"

I left the room and rushed to the dining room, where I found loads of food that mom made. holy smokes, I missed everything she makes! for real tho

I immediately sat down and waited, staring at the delicious looking food served in front of me. Mom and I waited for Winwin, and it didn't take long before he came walking down the stairs with a serious expression painted on his face.

why does my cousin get more handsome and handsome day by day?

he smiled once he saw us, and hurriedly took a seat.

while eating breakfast, mom spoke up

"So, how are you guys doing?" she asked

"We're good buddies," I answered "just that,"

"You guys should converse more and build a strong relationship," she told me

seriously..?

Winwin cleared his throat before replying

"Aunt, I think you shouldn't put too much pressure on Minseul. No worries though, we're really close to each other," He said

"Minseul, do you have a boyfriend?" mom asked

"Yes mom and don't kill me because it's not Joshua Hong," I answered, making her chuckle

"I know someone for you though. he can make you happy," she told me

Winwin suddenly choked on his food "Seriously!?"

"Seriously," Mom nodded and smiled at him

"Mom, Soonyoung takes good care of me. I'm fine with that, right?" I asked my cousin, who stopped chewing, looking quite surprised

"What?"

"You see how your Soonyoung hyung takes care of me, right?" I asked again

"Oh," he muttered "Ye,"

Winwin focused back on eating, and I think he felt awkward as hell. But he's normally awkward since he's not so comfortable in speaking korean yet although he does speak well

"That reminds me," Mom started "You will go to China for two weeks,"

"what? why?"

"Sicheng stayed here in Korea with you, so you should stay with him in Zhejiang for a bit too," she replied

"Zhejiang? isn't that.....a province in China?" I questioned

"Yeah," Winwin answered "I live there,"

"Oh," I nodded "Sounds cool to me. Can I bring my friends though?"

"No," Mom sighed

"But mom, they're my friends!" I reasoned out "I want to be with them too!"

"It's okay," Winwin interrupted "You can go there with them instead,"

"What?" I stopped for a second. My cousin smiled at me

"It seems like you really crave for their presence, so it's fine," he said, before taking a deep breath

"I'm sorry," I shook my head "I shouldn't have said that in the first place,"

"No worries,"

"I- um...excuse me," I stood up and rushed to the bedroom upstairs to rethink everything that happened.

I sat down the bed, with 'what ifs' filling my head

"I'm so dumb," I hit my head "I shouldn't have said that!"

my statement sounded rude, to be honest. it's like, I should actually spend quality time with Winwin but then I still wanted my friends to be with me

"You're not dumb," Winwin spoke. I didn't notice him near the door frame. he walked in, shaking his head "I'm the one who is,"

"Why so?" I asked

"There's just....so many things that I wanted to say but I couldn't voice them out," he muttered "If only you could understand me in a different language, then everything would be better,"

"I'm sorry," I sighed "Don't worry though, I'd still go to China with you,"

the boy smiled and took a deep breath once more

"You don't have to force yourself to go with me if you really don't want to,"

well ouch......I actually want to go, but i'm worrying about how Soonyoung would react. you know that boy, he gets jealous easily and it's difficult to make him believe that I'm not cheating on him or anything.

he even gets jealous just because I hg out with my own cousin, ugh

"For real, Sicheng," I sighed "I'll go with you back to your hometown,"
