hi, ive been busy training for a competition but now im back hooray

anyway, after finishing this shit, i'm gonna publish my short nct dream fic (bcs ya can't stop me, nct dream is my fave unit SO FAR. and the story's genre will be mystery so...ye)

after that I will finish off cam and start the sequel

it wasn't long until we all went home.

uhm. not really....because Mingyu, Dino and I were the first ones to go home. Soonyoung fell asleep and I wouldn't want to wake him up or disturb his sleep, that's why I left without him.

I let the two boys go home and not bother accompany me. it was difficult to make them let me go home alone, to be honest. but because I actually looked like i'm absolutely fully capable of going home by myself.....they gave up on insisting.

I walked home- not to soonyoung's house, but to my original home. i'm guessing that mom is still at work, that's why i'm going to pay my cousin a visit.

as soon as I reached the road nearest to the house, I saw Sicheng go out with another boy.

strange.....

I tried to follow both of them and it seems like the boy he was with....looks....new?

maybe he made a new friend in school!

I continued to stalk until we reached a convenience store not too far from home. I casually walked in, not making it seem too obvious that I came in for them.

"Minseullieee!!" I heard Winwin's voice. right before I could even turn to look, my cousin caught me in a tight hug

"oh! I didn't expect you to be here!" I was 'shocked'

"it's late and you're not home yet!" he was worried "what are you doing outside at a time like this, huh!?"

the boy he was with, walked up to us and asked

"Sicheng ah, you got yourself a girlfriend already?" he chuckled "you're faster than me!"

Winwin blushed at his friend's sudden phrases. he quickly pulled away from the hug and shook his head

"Ah, no, hyung. she's my umm...." Winwim stopped for a second "ummm,"

"cousin," I continued

"yeah yeah cousin," Winwin nervously laughed "I almost forgot,"

"you forgot that she's your cousin?" his friend questioned "that's.....strange,"

"no, hyung...really, I was just out of my mind I guess," my cousin chuckled

"okay then, but are you really sure you guys are related?" his friend asked some more "i'm not sure if I should believe or..."

"you're so silly, hyung," Winwin laughed "Forget about that!"

"Anyway, hello, Sicheng's cousin! I am Yuta. Nakamoto Yuta," his friend introduced and bowed at me

"oh! that's a really adorable name!" I smiled at him "You're Japanese?"

"Hai," he answered enthusiastically and flashed a smile "you're Minseul, aren't you?"

"yes, nice to meet you!" I shook hands with him "Why are you guys here though?"

"We're waiting for someone who studies in another school," Yuta answered

"Remember your old school? he studies there and hyung said he's a good friend!" Winwin told me

I wonder who he is though. The three of us sat down for a bit and waited for whoever they were waiting for. a few more minutes passed some more and a familiar looking boy entered

"Mark??" my jaw immediately dropped to the ground. I turned to Winwin and asked "You guys know him?"

"Winwin doesn't, but I alreadymet him before," Yuta replied

the boy ran towards us and did a high five with Yuta

"Yo Minseul! you're here too?" Mark asked

"Yeah well-"

"COOL! LONG TIME NO SEE, GIRL!" he cheered

"uhm.....okay," I awkwardly replied

"ever since you guys left the school, it turned into a huge mess!" he told as he grabbed a chair to sit beside me

"why so?"

"the next day, the school walls and rooms were filled with vandalism and random scribbles. it was lit!" Mark cheered "mister principal did not let everyone go to school for two weeks just to have everything cleaned and repainted!"

"wow that's awesome!" I taunted "what happened to daein tho- oh! nevermind, you probably don't know her,"

"oh she's a bitj, we know her well because she flirts with random boy groups in school. even NCT U got victimized,"

"Woah, who does she like in your group?"

"Leechaiyapornkul,"

"oh my god ten, why?"

"seriously!" he shook his head "I thought it'd be Taeyong hyung but I was wrong, man! I was wrong!!"

"daein is a real hoe,"

"for real! like, I didn't come all the way from Canada to put up with all her bullshi-"

"um guys? we're here too," Yuta waved to get our attention

"sorry," Mark chuckled.

the three of them discussed about things for a while and I didn't bither listening, since I'm not actually interested. I was focused on my phone, looking for pokémons-

just kidding, I don't play that game.

all of a sudden, Joshua texted me

hey, why aren't you home yet? I just saw you with winwin and two more guys when I passed a store

I immediately looked behind me to see if Joshua was around, but I didn't see him

"Minseul, is everything alright?" Yuta asked

"Yeah you should go home now, it's getting so late!" Winwin was worried. he immediately stood up and grabbed his things "Let's go, I'll take you home,"

I was about to stand up as well but then Mark caught my arm and pulled me back down

"Guys, seriously? stay a little longer!" he insisted

"Mark, it's okay, let them go, it's late," Yuta told him

"but.....YOLO, right?!"

"Mark, stop,"

"k," the young boy sighed and went back to sipping his drink

"We should go," Winwin caught my wrist "Bye guys! nice meeting you, Mark! I'll see you guys some other time,"

"Bye!!" I waved at them and hurriedly left the store with my cousin.

"Are you really gonna go home with me?" I asked

"Yeah, I got something to tell you along the way," he muttered "and i'm...i'm quite nervous,"

"Aw, winwin the pooh is nervous?" I teased him. he quickly hid his face behind his palms

"Seriously though, Dong Sicheng," I added "Tell me!"

silence left both of us for a while as we walked and I just watched him constantly rub his palms together

"Minseul. i'm not sure about it," he muttered "I'm not sure if I should tell,"

"I can keep secrets, you can trust me!" I told him

"okay.....here goes nothing," he stopped walking and closed his eyes. I stopped as well and stood there, looking at him

Winwin suddenly took a deep breath

"Okay shoot, i'm not ready. I'll tell you some other time,"
