"I'm gonna go out for a bit," I muttered and jumped off the bed, leaving Chan and Mingyu

"You're gonna leave me again," the maknae muttered

"You have your hyung with you," I replied with a smile and left the room, seeing the rest of the boys sleeping

"I thought we'll go somewhere fun tonight," I sighed and plopped down the couch, sitting next to Soonyoung, who was fast asleep.

I stared at the boy for a few seconds.

I feel bad about Dino, to be honest. As much as I want to blame myself, I know that I can't. I mean, to be frank, it's not my fault if I actually fell for his team leader.

But I can't help but feel gloomy

Seeing the boy peacefully sleep, I sighed and shifted my gaze up the ceiling, thinking of something to do.

For some reason, I kinda miss home.

Maybe I should pay my mother a visit. I mean, even if I hate her because she wants me to end up with Jisoo, she's still my mom. Like duh, I have manners!! and i'm a good kid!!

I got up and prepared some stuff I need later when I leave. I also fixed myself because I already looked like a frickin troll.

"Where are you going?" Chan asked

"Just gonna check up on my mother," I answered "I gotta make sure she's fine. It's been 666 decades since I left home,"

"Can I go?"

"Mom hates it when I bring boys inside the house. Aside from Josh though," I shrugged "I'll be fine,"

"But what if she takes you away from us?" he questioned

"She won't. And I can handle myself, trust me. She's my mom and I know all her actions. I know how to save myself,"

"I'm still worried,"

"Oh Chan, don't worry about me," I chuckled at his cuteness "I'll be back as sooooooon as possible!"

"Well make sure that you'll really come back or else I will get mad at you," he pouted

"Yeah yeah i'll be back," I nodded and grabbed my bag. I waved at him before leaving.

It was cold outside but it didn't really matter to me.

"Minseul!" Dino opened the door

"What?"

He ran towards me and covered me with a thick jacket. How adorable.

"It's cold," he muttered "You need my scarf too!" he untangled the soft fabric around his neck and gave it to me

"Are you serious, Dino?" I asked

"I won't be there to keep you warm. So there you go, with that scarf, you'd feel as if you still have me with you! my name was knitted right there!" he pointed out and showed me his name "See? it reads Lee Chan!"

"That's cute," I chuckled

"You're sure you'll be back soon, okay?"

"Yeah i'm sure. I won't leave seventeen, right?" I squished his cheeks

"And don't leave my Soonyoung hyung," he whispered

"You're telling me that as if I'm going to die, huh?" I laughed "I'll be okay!"

"Stay safe then!" he cheered then moved close to plant a kiss on my forehead. The boy gave me a sweet smile before speaking up

"I love you,"

"Chan Iㅡ"

"as a friend!!!!" he panicked and then nervously chuckled "I love you as a friend!!!"

"Well, okay," I chuckled "I love you as a friend too,"

I waved once more before making my way home. While I was walking, I couldn't stop smiling, really. Dino is just so cute, I couldn't help but think about him.

Don't get me wrong though, i'm pretty loyal to Soonyoung.

Once I reached home, I took a deep breath and walked towards the front door. I'm quite hesitant if I should just go and knock.

"Yolo," I sighed "Here goes nothing,"

I knocked for the three times and waited for an answer. After a few minutes, a good looking boy opened the door

"Hi! How may I help you?" he asked

"Uhm....I'm Minseul and-"

"Minseul!?" his expression lightened up

"Yes," I nodded, quite weirded out

"You're my cousin!!" he excitedly jumped amd hugged me tight "I'm so happy to meet you!"

"Um....I don't know you though because I'm an-"

"Only child? yep! that's why i'm here! Your mom is lonely. And since I came to Korea to study, I decided to stay here and be her temporary son, hahaha!" he replied "I'm Dong Sicheng, from China!"

"Sicheng?" I asked

"It's pretty awkward to say. Call me Winwin instead," he smiled

"Cool....umm....I only came to check if mom's okay. I should be going now-"

"No!" he grabbed my arm "I want to know lots of stuff about you! Can't we talk for a bit?"

"It's late though," I muttered "Shouldn't you be sleeping?"

"I sleep late," he chuckled "Besides, i'm still watching a movie so sleep is for the weak,"

"Where's mom though?"

"Still at work,"

"Winwin, umm, I should just visit tomo-"

"I refuse, come on! I want to know you better. Give me a chance," he sighed

"Okay," I replied and stepped inside the house.

Wow, everything changed. The walls were newly painted, the furnitures looked different.

"I didn't know that you look cute personally," he chuckled

"Thanks, you're cute too,"

"Who's Lee Chan?" he asked, eyeing me

"What?"

"Right there, on your scarf, it says Lee Chan," he pointed

"Oh, my friend owns this scarf," I answered

"Do you have a boyfriend?"

"Why are you asking?" I muttered, staring straight at him

"Aw come on, i'm just curious,"

"Yeah I do," I answered

"Your mom told me stuff about you, but she didn't mention much about your current life," he told me "Why did you leave home?"

"Do I have to answer?"

"Yeah....?"

"It's something you don't have to know about," I sighed "Why don't we talk about you now. What's your favorite thing to do?"

"I dance," he simply replied

"My friends do too. And they're really good," I told him

"They're a group?"

"Uh huh,"

"That's cool!" he clapped "Can I meet them?"

"I think so....but I'm not sure when," I shrugged "So.....am I free to go now?"

"It's late. Don't you want to meet your mom again?"

"Frankly speaking, I don't,"

"Why-"

"Winwin, please. I don't like to get questioned a lot. okay?" I sighed "I'm going home,"

"But this is home!"

"I have another home," I stood up and walked towards the door "Nice meeting you, by the way,"

"Nice to meet you too," he smiled "Are you sure you'll be okay on your own?"

"Yeah,"

"I'll see you in school then," he waved

"School?"

"I'm not enrolled yet, but i'll make sure to study in the same school as you," he muttered "I really want to meet your friends though,"

"I'll tell you more about them soon,"

"Will we also hang out a lot?"

"Yeah i'll try," I shrugged "I don't think it'd be bad after all,"

"I'm excited!"

"Sure you are. And don't tell mom that I went here,"

"Sure thing, seul,"
