Evan Hansen was the best Homicide detective on the squad. He went to the best police academy and pursued on the road to Precinct 12 in New York. He became the best on the squad. But Evan had a small sidekick. Connor Murphy.

Now Connor was a best selling author. He asked his good friend the mayor to let him work on cases with Evan to help him for another best selling book series. At first Evan wasn't so happy, but now he's gotten used to him tagging along to crime scenes. After a while Connor and Evan started to grow feelings for each other. First Connor then Evan. But, they never told each other anything because they were both afraid it would come in between their work relationship. 

Evan sat at his desk doing paperwork for his last crime. Some guy was murdered with an award, they found out the guy's girlfriend had done it on accident. She didn't mean to, but she still had to pay. 

"A Crime of Love, sounds so cliche, huh?" Connor sat down next to Evan and handed him a cup of coffee, like he always did everyday. "Got any plans tonight Hansen?" Evan turned to look at him. "Why do you ask Murphy?" Connor shrugged and grabbed the file. "Man he looked cute poor guy though." 

"Yeah, but this guy was just trying to get home to his girlfriend, poor guy but we can't do anything anymore."

"Hey Evan you wanna come over?"

"Hm, alright I'll meet you at 7." Smiling, Connor grabbed his coat and walked out of the precinct. Evan now nervous grabbed all of his papers and hurried to sign them. He didn't really have any reason to feel nervous. All he was doing was going to his millionare friend's mansion. 

He was more nervous now more than before.

Getting his place ready, Connor heard a knock at the door. Opening it he saw Evan dressed in a light blue dress shirt with a brown jacket and some dark blue jeans. "Hey Evan, come on in."

Evan smiled and walked in, mesmerized by the candles and food placed on the dinning table. They both sat down on the couch with some wine and crackers. "So, how was all the paperwork?"

"Really boring but it's part of the job."

"Hey, do you think I would be good as a cop? Maybe a private eye?" Connor said wiggling his eyebrows, Evan giggled. "Have I ever told you how beautiful your smile is?"

Evan blushed a little, "Have I ever told you how much you compliment me?" Connor scooted closer to Evan. "No you haven't, do I do it that often?" Evan now scooted closer to Connor. "You should keep count to find out." Their faces now inches apart, the two looked into their eyes. "How beautiful can you get? Like....damn." Evan closed his eyes and Connor pressed his lips onto Evan's. Evan then reacted by kissing back. They could could feel the passion in the kiss. Evan moaned into the kiss, and Connor took this as a chance to slip his tongue into Evan's mouth. Connor pushed Evan back so he would be laying down flat. Connor climbed onto Evan and Evan placed his hands on Connor's waist. 

Connor removed Evan's jacket and started to remove his shirt when there was a knock at the door. They both looked at the door, but shrugged it off and continued to make out. Now shirtless. Another knock at the door made Connor get up, forgetting his shirt, and open the door. "What?!" Connor asked, and quit angrily. Alana and Jared were at the door, "What are y-you guys doing here?" They barged in and Evan lunged for his shirt, quickly slipping it on. "HA, I told you, 20 bucks Jared cough it up." Jared groaned and handed her a crumpled 20. 

"Now we're gonna leave, but don't forget to use protection." Both Evan and Connor turned crimson shades of red. 

And that's how Jared and Alana found out about Connor and Evan's relationship.
