Having super powers was never a big thing for Michael, until he was about 5. He always used to be able to do simply party tricks. Like make small things fly and light candles with his fingers. But one day he was simply lighting a cupcake candle for his mom, he ended up almost burning down the fucking house. "Your powers are growing stronger," his mother told him. 

His mother then trained him as much as she could before she disappeared. Michael dedicated his life to finding his mother.

Today was his first day of high school and he was ready. Walking into school he got called horrible things by the cool kids. But he just brushed it off and bopped his head to his headphones. 

He walked into class and sat down, already making a mental list of who was who when a new kid walked in. Michael didn't notice him until the teacher started to talk. "This is Jeremy, um what is your last name again sweety?"

"It's uhm....heere."

A few giggles could be heard from the class. "You may take a seat, next..to." She scanned the room before she found a spot. "Michael!"

Michael studied the beautiful boy that was sitting next to him. Jeremy did the same. "Hey, I'm Michael Mell." He put out his hand to shake Jeremy's. 

"Jeremy Heere." Jeremy responded while taking Michael's hand. Michael was so caught up in his little dream state that he didn't notice himself start to hover over his seat. "Woah!" He immediately plopped back down on his seat. "How? How did you do that?!" He scratched the back of his neck, "I uhm...." Suddenly the fire alarm started to ring, "Okay class single file line to the fr-" There was a loud crash heard from outside. 

"Never mind, RUN!" Everyone bolted out of the class, except for Michael and Jeremy. "Dude, you have to go I'll deal with this." Jeremy shook his head and grabbed Michael's hand leading him towards the door. Outside was a girl using her powers to break things and levitate students to the ceiling. "Oh man, that's Madeline." Jeremy leaned out the door more and fell. Madeline turned and smiled. "Aww, look Michael's got a boyfriend, at least your life hasn't been ruined by Brooke yet." 

"Madeline, leave everyone alone, don't listen to the rumors."She started to giggle, "I don't have to listen to anybody anymore!" She shot a ray of light at the boys. Jeremy ran behind Michael, but Michael just stuck out his hand. A force field of fire was formed around the two. 

"Woah." Woah indeed.
