Jeremy was in a very bad mood. And I mean like really bad mood. He had failed two tests, spilled juice on his favorite purple hoodie, dropped all his textbooks in the middle of the halls, and to top it all off he didn't talk to his player one all day. He was really pissed off about that. Close to the end of the day he saw Michael walking to his last class. "Michael!" he yelled, but Michael turned, examined Jeremy and ran off. Jeremy knew he was gonna scold Michael when he got home.

Walking out the doors of the school, he was thinking about how he was gonna grab some ice cream from the fridge, a giant spoon, and just eat it in his room alone. He took out his key and unlocked the door. Entering he heard noises coming from the basement. His dad didn't come until after 8 and it was barely 4. He grabbed a pan from the kitchen and quietly walked down to the stairs. There were fairy lights strung all around. Jeremy stood at the bottom of the stairs mesmerized. Looking all around he walked forward and noticed the spare mattress decorated with food, blankets, and some pillows. Michael is standing on the side with a small ukulele. Singing I Can't Help Falling In Love With You.

His fingers brushed over the strings so smoothly. His singing was so beautiful. And Jeremy thought so too. He watched as Michael sang through the song. Jeremy didn't realize that Michael was walking towards him until he was right in front of him.

Michael put down the Jeremy's pan and his ukulele and placed his hands on Jeremy's waist. "I saw you were stressed at school so I put this all together." Jeremy, now with tears in his eyes, smiled and hugged Michael. Michael gently pulled Jeremy off of him and kissed him. After their small innocent kiss they laid down and cuddled up on the mattress. 

"Thank you,"  Jeremy whispered into his lover's ear. Michael smiled and whispered back a quiet, "I love you." Jeremy snuggled up in Michael's chest and the two dozed off.
