THIRTY
Bloom sat quietly in the middle between two bodyguards. She was trying to process what just happened. How could Tyra give her up like that? How could she be so stupid to fall for her trick?
"Why did you shoot her?" she asked with a clenched fist as she looked at the bodyguard next to her. Sure, Tyra was a b*tch and maybe deserved what she got but they left her there to bleed to death.
"Answer me!" she yelled kicking the seat in front of her but all the bodyguards in the car looked unfazed---like they were deaf.
Someone's ringtone blared in the car, the guard at the front seat answered the call.
"Hello, Mr. President. Yes, we have her."
"Asshole!!!" She screamed, loud enough for her father to hear.
"I don't think she will make it." The guard told the President.
"You piece of shit!" She yelled moving closer to the phone but the bodyguard ended the call quickly.
She wished there was a way to inform the girls about Tyra, so she could get help quickly. She should have listened to the girls and stayed inside. Now she was going back to her miserable life, trapped and alone. No Damian, no Zayn, and no Laura.
The thought alone made her punch the bodyguard next to her and reach to open the door, but the second bodyguard dragged her back and held her down.
"Let me go!" she yelled in tears.
"I rather die than return to that hell hole!" she sobbed and elbowed one of the guards in the gut.
"Subdue her," the bodyguard driving ordered.
She tried to fight them as they brought the material sucked in Chloroform closer to her nose.
She stopped struggling and sat back sobbing as she drifted to sleep. It was hopeless trying to fight them.

Liz was laughing her ass out when the loud bang on the door made her laughter ceased.
"Mimi, go and hide in the wardrobe," Nicole whispered while Liz grabbed her gun.
"Text the boys, I think they found us. I will text Tyra to hide Bloom," Nicole said in a hushed tone.
The next knock on the door was harder than the last.
"I will check who's at the door," Liz said taking slow steps to the door.
"Who is it?" She asked leaning on the wall, they got no reply.
Liz opened the door and pointed her gun at the person.
"Tyra? Oh my God!" Liz gasped. She threw her gun away and put her arm around her.
"What happened?" Nicole asked making space on the bed.
"I have no idea," Liz replied as she placed her gently on the bed.
"We don't have any first aid kit here. I will call Taylor and ask him to get one."
"Stay with me, Tyra. Keep your eyes open, you'll be fine."
Liz whispered.
"Get me a clean towel," she said to Nicole who just hung up from her call with Taylor.
Nicole rushed to the bathroom and ran back to her with a towel. Liz held it against where Tyra was shot.
"Come on, Tyra, fight it and stay awake," Liz hissed as she saw her eyes closing.
"I think we should take her to the hospital or give her mom a call," Nicole suggested.
"No, don't...don't call my mom," Tyra mumbled.
"But she is a nurse, she can help you," Liz said.
"No," Tyra refused.
The door burst open making them jump at the force that made the door bang against the wall.
"What happened?" Taylor asked rushing to the bed.
"We found her at the door like this," Liz replied.
"Hey, stay strong. You're gonna be okay I promise," Taylor said as he took her bloody hand and sat next to her.
"Well, that was fast," Nicole said opening the small first aid bag.
"We were around the block when I got your call," Taylor told her.
"Try and reduce the pain and bleeding, I already called Jasmine. She is on the way."
Taylor informed them while Tyra groaned at the mention of her mom.
"Where is Bloom?" They all looked back at Zayn, finally acknowledging his presence.
They were all quiet as they exchanged looks between one another.
"Where is she?!"
Zayn asked again with a harsh tone and stoic expression on his face.
"She left with Tyra to get ice but..."
"She what? Shit!" He cursed before Nicole could finish her sentence like he knew the next words she was going to say.
"We don't know what happened out there, only Tyra knows."
Liz said calmly.
"Where is she?" He asked approaching Tyra but Taylor got in the way.
"Bro, she is not stable right now. Our main priority right now is keeping her life, she will tell us what happened when she is better."
"Seriously? What about my girlfriend? She is not important, huh?"
"That's not what..."
"Fuck you, I'm going to look for her," Zayn cut in and walked to the door.
He saw Jasmine standing in front of the door when he opened it. He walked passed her and left without saying a word.

Bloom's thick eyelashes fluttered before she opened her eyes. She stared at the familiar ceiling and wallpaper.
"Bloom?" She heard Aunt Matilda's voice from beside her.
"So it wasn't a dream?" She mumbled and sighed heavily not looking her way.
She wanted to scream like a Banshee and destroy everything in her way but she didn't have enough strength to even try. She was back to her cage and it seemed there was no escaping since her window was changed, it had a window guard with iron bars to prevent anyone from leaving or entering. There was no way Zayn could make it through.
"Bloom?" Aunt Matilda moved closer and took her arm, she finally met her eyes. Her grey eyes were filled with worry and joy.
"Are you okay? Does any part of your body hurt?" Aunt Matilda asked.
"I don't know if I will ever be fine again," Bloom mumbled, looking away.
"Are you hungry? I prepared your favorite."
Bloom pretended not to hear her. The door opened and the sound of heels clicking on the floor stole her attention.
"Hi, Bloom," Doctor Lana's sweet voice filled the room. She was one of the Valley House Doctors and also the President's personal Doctor.
"How are you? I came to see if..."
"I'm fine," Bloom cut in with a dirty look.
"I only wanna see your stitches and know if you're in any pain."
"I said. I'm fine!" she exclaimed.
"Okay, but let me take a look at the..."
"Don't touch me!" Bloom snapped moving away from her.
She couldn't trust anyone at the moment especially Doctor Lana, she suspected she was working with her Dad to get rid of her memories since she got them back. She didn't want Zayn to be erased from her brain, the moments they spent together, and her new friends. Damian might have hurt her but she didn't want to forget him either.
"Honey, just allow her to..." Aunt Matilda tried to say.
"Can you both leave, please?" she asked calmly.
"Okay, if that's what you want but you need to allow her to check your stitches." The door opened after Aunt Matilda spoke.
Bloom's blood boiled as she stared at the person she once admired so much and worshiped. Her eyes caught the bodyguard that opened the door for him, it was the first time she was seeing him. His hazel eyes met hers instantly, he smiled at her and kept his eyes on her till he shut the door.
"Hi, Princess," The President said removing one hand from his pocket on his black dress pants. She snorted at the name and stared at him with disgust.
"Welcome back home," he told her as he approached the bed.
"Home? Funny how it suddenly feels like a dungeon." She said coldly.
"You should thank me for saving you from those thugs," he said not smiling anymore.
"They are my friends and I was doing fine before you captured me and brought me back to this cage you call home."
She saw his jaw clench. "Those street rats kidnapped you, I understand if you're suffering from some kind of Stockholm syndrome."
"It's not Stockholm syn..."
"Did you check her stitches?" He asked Doctor Lana cutting off her sentence
"She won't let me," Doctor Lana reported.
"She looks fine, you can leave," he told her with a straight smile.
"Take care, Bloom," Dr. Lana told her before walking out of the room.
"Aunt Matilda, could you give us some time alone?" Her Dad asked.
"Sure, let me know if you need anything, Bloom."
Bloom wanted to tell her to stay, she was terrified of what her Dad would do to her. She watched Aunt Matilda close the door but not before meeting the mysterious eyes of the new bodyguard who gave her another smile before the door closed. There was something sinister about him, good looks aside.
"What do you want?" she asked her Dad who began to pace in the room.
"Tell me everything you know about those thugs."
"Those Thugs are my friends and you shot one, I don't even know if she is still alive. She is only 16, Dad."
"We both know she deserved it, sweetheart. She didn't waste any time to give you up, money is far more important to her than your deluded friendship. I believe you are not that stupid to consider them your friends."
He said and scoffed at the end of his sentence.
"You didn't have to shoot her," she said within gritted teeth.
"Listen here, Princess. Those black leeches do not give two shits about you, they are only using you to get to me especially that boy."
"That boy is my boyfriend and he is coming for me."
"I will like to see him try," he sneered. "Don't get your hopes up, Princess, I will hate to see you get hurt again," he added as he stared at the window.
If looks could kill, he would be dead by now. The man she once saw as her hero and who she admired so much, was now the monster that terrified her. How come she never noticed who he truly was? Oh right, he wiped those memories away.
"I am your only family, just tell me the truth. Where is the hideout? Damian told me everything, I know you know something. Don't you want Daddy to win the next election and get you anything you want?" He said and sat next to her.
"You're even more despicable than I thought," she said repulsively.
He sighed heavily and frowned. "Don't worry, things will return to how they use to be before, I promise," He said stroking her hair.
She snickered at his statement. Who was he trying to deceive with that?
"You will start your classes next week, your college application is already here. You will stop your Jujitsu class so you can focus on your studies." He said in a serious tone and stood up.
"Can't wait to get rid of me huh?"
"You know I love you, but the Valley House is not safe for you anymore. You need to be as far away from here as possible."
"To the college I had no say in," she said in anger.
"You will love it and make better friends there," he said smiling at her.
"You will start therapy next week too," he informed her.
"Therapy for what?"
"You went through a traumatic experience, sweetie, I want you to be better again like old times," he said with a grin that sent chills down her spine. Was he planning to erase some of her memories again? Was it the same therapy? She didn't want to go through that torturous therapy again.
"Did you tell anyone?" he asked in an intimidating tone.
"About what?"
"Don't play dumb with me, you know what I'm talking about. Did you tell those thugs?"
"No," she said and tried not to show off the fear in her voice.
"I hope you're telling the truth, Princess. I'm much worse than you think, I can get rid of your thug friends with a snap of my finger," he said and smiled.
"I'm sorry about Damian, I got you a new replacement better than Damian."
"I don't need anyone to replace D..."
"Stephano!" He called shutting her up.
The door opened and the mysterious bodyguard walked in. She looked away not ready to listen to whatever he wanted to say. No one could ever replace Damian.
"He is not like Damian, he is tougher than he looks. He won't let you out of his sight once you are out of your room. You're under strict surveillance and don't even think about leaving this building cause you no longer have access to the secret exit."
He said Sternly.
"I will leave you two to get to know each other, I have other business to take care of," he walked over to the bed and gave her a kiss on the head.
She didn't spare the bodyguard a look once her Dad was gone. She laid on the bed and ignored him. His cologne overpowered her Dad's expensive cologne that was once in the room, his scent was fresh and powerful.
"I know I will never be able to replace your old bodyguard, from what I heard you're both really close."
His voice was deep and smooth at the same time.
"Then what are you still doing here? Just quit and find another job."
She said almost raising her voice. She turned to look at him with a scowl. He looked younger than Damian, slim but a bit muscular for the job. He looked like he should be on the runway rather than following her around like her shadow. His dark hair was neatly combed, too bad his hair wasn't curly.
His hazel eyes stared back at her and a small smile remained on his face.
"I'm here to protect you, Bloom. It's an honor to..."
"Just leave, you know who I am already no need for introduction. Just stay out of my way and do your stupid job."
She said and turned away from him as she laid back on the bed.
He smiled at her and used the opportunity to look around her room.
"Why are you still here?" she asked getting frustrated.
"I was just leaving, let me know if you need any..."
"Just go already, you're the last person on my list for that."
She said with her back to him. He left the room still smiling.
She broke into tears as soon as she heard the door close. She tried to suppress the sound leaving her lips as she broke down.

Zayn returned to the motel fuming in rage. Jasmine left as soon as he arrived, telling them she had a night shift at the hospital.
"Did you find her?"
Nicole asked standing up from the couch.
"If I did will I be here alone?" He asked coldly.
"Look, Zayn we are sorry for..."
"You guys had one job, one f*cking job!" he yelled cutting Liz off. "You knew she was in danger and you let her out, did you guys even care?"
"What were you expecting us to do? Tie her to the chair against her will? She is 17, Zayn. We tried to stop her but she insisted on going with Tyra, it was her choice and we played our part." Liz yelled back, sounding angry.
"So you just allowed Tyra to take her out? You know she hates Bloom and doesn't care if..."
"Bro, you need to calm down." Taylor cut in.
"Calm down? My girl is back in that damn house and y'all have no idea what her Dad is gonna do to her!" he yelled and his veins appeared prominent on his skin, showing how intense his anger was.
"We don't know what really happened, let's not jump into conclusion." Nicole said calmly.
"Right, of course, she doesn't matter cause she is his daughter and none of you give a shit about her!"
"Zayn, you seriously need to calm down," Liz said.
"Don't f*cking tell me what to do!" he yelled.
"Zayn, breathe," Nicole said walking to where he was.
"Breath," she said softly taking his hand as he began to pant at how aggressive he was at every one.
"Just like that, slow down," Nicole whispered giving his hand a squeeze.
"Let's sit," she pulled him to the couch with her.
"She is not safe in that house, Nicole," he said to her in a calm tone.
"I know, we are going to find a way to get her out of there," Nicole assured him.
"I can't get in. The asshole changed her window."
"I'm sorry," Tyra's weak voice stole everyone's attention.
"I should have been more careful, I'm really sorry," she said with tears glistening in her eyes.
"What really happened?" Liz asked.
"We were on our way to the store when two black cars pulled next to us on the sidewalk, some armed guys in a nice suit came out of the car."
She paused and sniffled.
"They grabbed Bloom and pulled her to one of the cars, I tried to stop them but I got shot. I couldn't do anything as they took her away, I'm sorry," she sobbed.
"It's okay, Tyra. You tried to save her."
Taylor said.
"How did they know we were here?"
Zayn asked pinning her with his eyes.
"I don't know," Tyra mumbled.
"Why would you even ask her to go with you? You don't like her and you knew it wasn't safe for her to leave the building."
Zayn asked with a cold stare.
The others in the room stared at him wondering what he was getting at.
"Nicole and Liz were busy and I really needed company, so I asked your girlfriend."
"Fu*king liar!" Zayn said with a hard stare.
"Zayn, stop," Nicole groaned.
"She is obviously lying. She took her out on purpose. We all know how much she despises Bloom, she will rather be locked in a room with a Tiger than with Bloom."
"You're making rash judgment right now, dude. She told us what happened, she tried to save your girl."
Taylor said. Zayn scoffed and stood up.
"I'm going for a drive," he said and headed for the door.
"I will go with him and make sure he doesn't do anything stupid."
Nicole said and rushed after him.

When Bloom woke up, it was four in the morning. She sat on her bed just staring at the window and replaying all the moments they spent together in the room. He knew the risk of coming to see her but it didn't stop him.
A tear rolled down her right cheek. She was never going to see him again and if her Dad succeeded in erasing some of her memories, she might forget him and all their times together.
She hugged her knees to her chest and cried. After a few minutes, she stood up and walked around her room checking her stuff like she forgot she had them. She was surprised she didn't miss anything about the place while she was away. She saw an envelope on her dressing table.
She picked it and unsealed it. She read the familiar small handwriting from Laura. She told her she had left for NYU and apologized for not being there for her. She smiled and put the letter away. At least she went to the college of her choice.
She wished she could give Laura a call but her Dad had ceased her cellphone, iPad, laptop, and anything to prevent her from communicating with anyone outside.
She packed her hair up and undressed. She took a shower and went back to bed with tears in her eyes.
