Previously on boy trouble
"Well this is it my room." it was moving day and I was so excited, my dad went with me as I unload my stuffs.
"Am so proud of you baby." dad said.
"Wish Ashley was here to see this, She'll be so jealous." I told him admiring my room.
"I'll text her a picture." I posed and he took a picture.
"Come on now, you gotta go maybe, you'll make it back to help ash pack?"
Ashley couldn't make it with me cause she was also moving in that day, Molly stayed to help her pack while my dad brought me here, my mom was in the UK at the moment, she's visiting her family. Maddie left a week earlier so did Alex and Sophie moved, By the way coming to think of it Sophie got into the same college with Jason and yeah.
"Bye honey see you in a few months time. " dad said to me before going.
"Bye dad," finally alone I was left to unpack until I received a text, reaching for my back pocket I check.
Hey babe had fun moving in cause I didn't without you here, miss you already talk soon okay.❤❤
Jason❤
I miss you too!💕
I replied before I continued unpacking when I heard someone's voice.
"You must be my roommate, how nice am Ally short for Allison." she said nicely stretching her hand smiling at me.
"Am Anna short for Annabelle." I returned the gesture ,I think we're gonna get along just fine.
♡♡♡♡♡
Months later
Annabelle's POV:
"Anna, wake up you sleepy head,'' said a voice, violently shaking at my shoulders, "Dude, I'm serious, wake up"
"Ally, will you please let me sleep, I'm really tired," I groaned, shuffling in my sheets as my head laid comfortable in the soft pillows.
"You do know it's two in the afternoon? you missed class today." L
I jumped in alarm, the cold bedsheets slightly warming up in the afternoon heat.
"Well, why didn't you wake me up?" I snapped. "Real mature Ally, real mature." She simply ignored me and was off banging the room door.
Ally was my new roommate, and judging by our conversation, we don't really get along that well. She always tries to one up me; if I do something, she makes sure she does it better. Living with her is living hell, but I just have to. I even tried to change rooms but I was too late. College life has been something else alright, just one month ago I was dropped here but I've managed to suck at it to.
Grabbing my cell phone from the bed side table, I proceed to text Jason on how terrible my day has been so far.
Anna: I can't believe Ally would stoop so low again, I literally missed my classes today, because she didn't have the slightest decency to wake me up!
Jason: What happened to your alarm, didn't you set it?
Anna: I did, but yesterday was hectic. I was up all night; it was really tiring.
Jason: Well, either way I'm sure Ally meant no harm okay, so try and talk to her. You can't live for an entire year competing against each other.
Anna: Thanks Jason, you always know what to say.
Jason: Alright then, gotta go!
Anna: Byeeeee!
I quickly get up from the bed with my messy bed-head hair. Man, last night was crazy I must say. The most fun I've had in like forever. I stretch out for my towel and toothbrush and step into the shower. I had to continue the rest of my day even though Ally did ruin my morning; or should I say afternoon.
Getting dressed in a cute outfit, I go off for home room. There I meet Ally again. I mean, why does she have to appear everywhere I go?!
"Hey roomie, I see you've woken up finally." Ally drawled.
"Yeah I did. What are you doing here?"
"Oh silly, don't you know? We have class in like thirty minutes! Didn't I tell you, could've sworn I did," she said, batting her eyelashes innocently.
"No, you didn't!" I spat, "You know what, I'm leaving."
I just can't believe this girl, as usual trying to make me the laughing stock of the year! She was a sophomore but somehow, just somehow I got one class stuck with her. I check my phone and that's when I saw it. I mentally face palmed myself for being such a scatter brain.
They sent a message in the group chat earlier; we had class by three at least I won't be missing this, if I hurry that is. It was already forty minutes after two, I had to hurry, the class could get pretty crowded and you do not want to miss the good seats. I mean, it's Professor Smith; He's nice and one of the youngest professors we have. Almost all the ladies are practically taking that class, he's taking us sociology.
I get to the Hall ten minutes later, and that's when I saw her, Jessica Coholt; the girl from last night. I try to say 'hi' but then I decided not to, privately resolving that I might come out as desperate, instead I collapse into my seat. That's when I notice all eyes on me. Jessica, a few rows ahead of me turns around to give a hearty wink towards my direction. The rest of the class snickered at the both of us.
I was confused; what in the wide marbles was happening?
I abruptly stand up and stomp over to Jessica, everyone howling at us in interest.
"What's going on?" I demanded.
"Leave me alone!" she tried to brush me off. "News flash, I don't want to."
And she stood up with her friends and the all left me standing there.
The whole class went into hysterics; including Allison, just then it was announced the class was cancelled.
I was so embarrassed. I couldn't even move from where I was.
Everyone left while I fall back unto the nearest sit, my hands running through my hair confused and defeated, a single tear fall on my cheek and I find myself emotional all of sudden, call me weak but I don't know why I did that, I've crying all my life so this isn't new, my phone rang. It was Maddie and I hadn't heard from her in a long time.
"Hey sweetie!" she chimed from her line.
"Hey," I hiccoughed.
Silence from her side.
"What's wrong? You sound like you've been crying. Tell me what happened."
"I can't over the phone right now." I blew my nose, "want to hang this weekend?"
"Well, I did plan on seeing Alex but, if my baby needs me, I shall be there for her."
I smiled. "Alright then. Got to go, I'll hit you up later." And with an exchange of goodbyes, I hung up.
It's hard to that believe Jessica would do this to me. She was really nice to me at the party yesterday; literally the first person that had been welcoming since I got here. Now, I just feel like my old self now. The ''Lost Annabelle'' in high school, I thought college was going to be different but, somehow, I still turn out to be that same lost quiet girl with no friends all over again, I wish Ashley was here; she'd know how to handle this, she's busy rocking it over at brown, we talk once in a while and she's lucky if only I had her luck with people.
But my concern at the moment was what had happened at the party that Jessica would do this to me, I can only remember a little; the rest were all blurry and unclear, which was strange because now that I think it through my memory of it is totally blank, Deep in my thoughts, I didn't notice that someone was standing right in front of me. It was him again; another guy at the party, I've been seeing almost every day.
"Hey!" he greeted, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly.
"Hi," I said back wiping the dry tears off of my face. Did he see what had happened?
That's when a memory came flashing through, it was last night at the party, he was with Jessica and me with Allison we went off together and? And? my memory just goes pitch blank after that again, okay this is freaky what did I do last night? Also how much did I take last night?
'This can't be good' I thought
