Jason's POV
So it all started when my dad and Ronnie were little, you guessed it Ronnie was my dad's little sister which means she was my Aunt they never talked about.

Ronnie or Aunt Ronnie got involved with the Cortez clan and that led to my grandparents disowning her and since my dad moved to America he left Mexico behind, Cortez being her last name since she married one of them made it easy for her to commit crimes without us nothing she was related to us.

It all made sense whenever I mentioned the name my grandpa would always flinch but I didn't put them together because she didn't have the Russo name with her. After she left the family and decided to be with the Cortez things became hard and she needed a way out, knowing my dad would always help her she spoke with him to help but he did fall for it resulting to her killing him all in plan of getting his properties and company handed to her.

What she didn't see coming was getting caught and at the spot grandpa carried out his plan in helping her, she played the innocent card claiming it was a mistake and she's a changed person now so he decided to remove all the charges against her and buried the case since it was all in the family.

They placed another lady before the court and sent her to jail, giving her Ronnie's name and last. They hid Ronnie, but years later she escaped from the facility my pa had her put in and came back to carry out her final plan, he knew how sneaky she was so he needed to find her now with her documents and that's how the empty Cortez file landed on my table, the real one and of course since Ronnie was never caught in the system or anything it was blank and clean.

He hired private detectives and when he found her, he tried talking to her and even offered her a deal and which was why he was at the finance department to get a loan from the company but as usual Ronnie backed out last minute and you guessed why.

Since Emma already got my signature for the company being transferred into her name, she didn't need the small change my pa was offering to her and now we don't know her next move whatsoever, and since it's our word against hers it'll be hard to just go to the police especially when they claim there's another Mrs Cortes locked up in jail for the crime committed.

Which means having to confess to the cover up and putting my pa behind bars for involvement of covering up a crime and so many life's at risk here, we have Emma who helped her and Ronnie is definitely not going to let it go that easy. If she goes down she's definitely taking us all down with her.

This was all too much to take in at one moment and now am suppose to fix everything, I've been seated in the living room after his reveal and trying to figure out my next move.

I remember a flashback I heard when I was in highschool with Annabelle's father when he asked about Ronnie and I totally froze and he changed the topic, this means everyone knew except us.

How could they do this us it's been years, my parents aren't even alive so being mad is just going to be pointless but right now I need to get to Ronnie and try to negotiate something, anything to keep my family safe.

It's now or never.

Annabelle's POV
I had finally made up my mind, I was leaving California for good now, I'll have to start a new agency for my company but since I already started it underground now in London, It wasn't really a problem.

It was suppose to be announced in December that we're having a new branch there and since I go there alot it was the reasonable option. Of course as I continue growing I'll keep expanding until Belle's Enterprise is known everywhere.

I kept calling Maddie to talk and try to settle things but she's not picking my calls, I left her a voicemail explaining things and apologized.

I was obviously not going to leave immediately, I still needed to set things straight here before leaving. I grabbed my car keys and headed to my parents place, hopefully I can clear the air between us.

"Hello? Is anyone home?" I said immediately I walked into the house.

My little brother immediately ran up to me giving me a hug a very tight one.

"Careful now, I haven't been gone for that long baby bro,"I slowly pulled him away from me and he frowned at me.

"Am not little anymore." He said with a straight face before running off leaving me.

I made my way to the living room and he was seated on Molly's lap while they both stared at the TV ignoring me.

"I know you all don't want to see me right now, I've been an awful daughter for as long as I can remember and am sure you'll both agree but I've made up my mind." I took a deep breath before I continued. 

"I've decided to leave, am moving back to England, I just wanted to say my goodbyes and hopefully you forgive me." I finish off waiting for the next thing to happen.

My dad was the first one to clear his throat before turning to face me now.

"Running away from your problem isn't always the way Annabelle." He gave me a look and I knew the next thing coming was a long speech.

"You're an adult and I expect you do act like one, but please don't ever and I mean ever abandon your family like this." That was quick I didn't expect it to be that short.

"Am sorry again I just caught up with everything going on but I promise I'll do better, am sorry baby bro too and Molly." I turned to them and they simply both smiled.

David quicky stood up and gave me a genuine hug this time around.

"Don't forget to visit okay?" He gave me a Stern warning look.

"I promise." I pulled my finger towards him.

"Huh Pinky promise?" He gasped before interlocking it with mine.

I stayed over to have lunch before going back home.

I checked my phone immediately I got back in the car and still no calls from Maddie, she's really mad. I didn't want to go over to their place part of me knew she might not be there, and Alex won't even want to see me.

I went straight to my room and lie on the bed counting the stars thinking of my next move.
