Annabelle's POV
I can't believe Jason right now, he had to do one thing just one thing and he blew it off, he couldn't just let Maddie tell Alex on her own now he's going to be more heartbroken than ever.

"I was going to tell you today trust me," she kept explaining to him but he was hurt.

"Tell me, when? You looked me in the face and lied to me and now you're telling me to trust you?" He replied coldly to her.

"Can you please let me explain how it happened, I would never do this to me intentionally." She grabbed him by the hands but he wasn't Even looking at her, I felt so bad for her.

Part of me felt like I caused this and I couldn't help but blame myself for this, what if he calls off the wedding, they've been through a lot I wouldn't want it to end that way.

"Times were hard, I didn't want you to pay for the bills alone and my boss, he offered me a deal for a promotion. It felt like the right thing to do at the moment but I swear it didn't mean anything I didn't even know he didn't use protection and I only found out a week ago trust me on this." She explained everything and that's when it clicked with me too.

If she didn't know and she's been with Alex too then there's a possibility the child is for him, which means this marriage can be saved.

"Alex? Alex? Did you hear what I just said?" She asked when he wasn't responding.

"Yeah I heard still doesn't change anything." He came out plain at her.

"But it does think about it, it could be yours after all." I jumped in but they shut me up immediately.

"With all due respect Anna please stay out of this," Alex turned to me before facing his soon to be wife. "You don't get it I don't care if it's mine or not the fact is you lied to me, and you did it without even thinking about me."

I didn't want to admit it but he was right, I could see him hurting even from his words.

"So what does this mean for us?" She asked him.

"I don't know but I can't be here right now." He turned and left.

'What just happened?'

I went over to face my friend but she simply shrugged me off, rejecting my comfort.

"Let me be, this is all your fault. You know, just because you and Jason didn't have it doesn't mean we all can't." She said coldly to me before running out in tears.

"Am going to go now too." Sophie said from behind and Jessica followed behind.

I was left standing there wondering how it all went wrong, why am always the center of all troubles and everything always starts with me. But that was just the beginning of it all, I was about to receive another news and this I certainly wasn't ready for.

I was seated in my mirror room looking at all the reflection of myself, I always come here whenever am down just to look at myself and tell myself everything is okay but today it wasn't working.

While I was busy trying to fix my friends relationship I had isolated myself from my family, I can't remember when last I cared about them and now the worst thing just happened.

After Maddie and my friends left I opened the mail I received from London days ago and I couldn't bring myself to process everything, no wonder my parents didn't show up today and no one was talking to me not even a call. It turned out grandpa passed away during the week and I didn't even attend the funeral because of my selfish life desires.

I can't even remember when last I saw him or the Queen and I was in London recently, I really don't care about people if it's not about myself. Maybe Maddie is right and so is Chad, I should probably do everyone a favor and leave start a new life somewhere that isn't here.

I've been in California all my life and whenever I get involved with anyone it's always trouble, it's time I make a new life for myself, somewhere no one knows who I am a brand new life, that's what am going to do.

Am leaving California and it's for good this time.

Jason's POV
I was home today staying when, it's been a long week and with what happened with Alex last night I hope everything works out fine, atleast that's what I thought until Sophie hits me up with a message telling me Alex came and Maddie had it to here.

I can't believe he did that, I told him to calm down but he had to go full on Alex on her, just great she also told me how it happened and why Maddie did it, I don't even know what to think and I can't make his decision for him but that's alot to take in between 9 to 14 hours from last night.

No wonder Belle didn't call or respond to my texts this morning, I really wonder what she's doing right now, I hope she's doing okay too and hopefully she wasn't dragged into this.

I was going up to change into something presentable and go see her when I heard voices from the downstairs living room, I quickly dressed and went to see what's going on.

"Going somewhere?" My grandparents faced me.

I was fixing my shirt when I noticed Emma behind them crying.

"Did something happen again, am sorry I didn't notice is she okay?" I went over to see what's wrong but she turned her face at me.

"What is going on? Can someone explain to me what this is. Mind you but I have places to be at the moment." I turn to go since they're obviously using me to play games.

"Am really sorry Jason, I didn't mean to, she forced me to I swear." I sister cried out to me, I immediately paused and face them back again.

"Who are you talking about, who is she and what did they force you to do?" I asked one more time.

"I don't know but her name was Ron atleast that's what I heard one of the guards calling her, she told me that she'll kill you if I don't get you to sign the papers, so I did and now she's coming and am really sorry," she broke into tears.

And that's when it clicked, the documents I kept in her room, I shouldn't have told her about it and now Ronnie has it, and then the papers I signed was that is.

"So your transfer papers it wasn't it?" I asked to be sure.

"Am so sorry Jason I really am." She simply said.

Putting my hands over my head I realized I've been played by my sister, it was the legal papers for the entire company dad gave to us under my name and Emma and the house, but why does Ronnie need it what was her motive.

So she kidnapped my sister to get me distracted she used Annabelle too so I wouldn't suspect her, but why?

"Are you two just going to stand there or are you going to explain to us what is going on?" I faced my grandparents,  ' and this time I need the truth, no lies whatsoever. Who is Ronnie?" I said with cold dead eyes now.

"I think it's time you tell them." My ma tapped him gently on the back before facing us.

"What is going on Jason?" Emma asked but I simply shut her off, facing my pa now.

"Here goes nothing." He cleared his throat and began the story.
